The Villa

This Modern Portuguese style villa is set in a peaceful location within easy access to main roads and breath taking surroundings, including fruit farms, and a nearby lake.
Perfect for a family, with 4 large bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor , with separate bathroom/wc with Whirlpool bath shower, and a further 2 twin rooms located on the first floor , with a separate shower /wc. The two twin rooms upstairs consist of two single beds in one room and a double and single in the other room, all rooms have plenty of storage for clothing. The Villa is equipped with clean bath towels and fresh bed linen on your arrival, and unless specified will be changed on your departure although an additional clean can be arrange if required. The villa is an hours drive at most from Lisbon Airport, a car is essential if you want to make the most of your stay, driving is a pleasure with the low level of traffic and well maintained roads.

Ground Floor
Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, separate tumble dryer, Fridge/freezer, oven etc. Door opening onto a built in barbeque area and outdoor terrace and garden, complete with patio table and chairs. Combination Boiler given you central heating and continuous hot water.

Living/dining room with comfortable seating, Flat-Screen TV with Satellite and surround sound DVD player equipped with play station 2 and games.

The villa is equipped with a car port for easy parking, and also a communal pool and out door play area The pool area is gated to make it safe for young families. Other facilities available if you require are, a travel cot, highchair and stair gate.

The Area

A comfortable one hours drive at most from Lisbon Airport, the villa is located just outside the medieval town of Obidos , this is considered to be one of the jewels of Portugal’s national heritage and has many small shops within its walls selling local handicrafts , and of course the famous Ginja de Obidos a tasty cherry liqueur. Many traditional restaurants and bars. The SPA town of Caldhas da rainha also nearby approx 10 minutes by car, which has many more shops, bars, supermarkets, banks and of course the famous SPA baths which are a must.
There are many championship golf courses within 30 minute drive of the villa including the Praia D’el Rey Beach and Golf Resort, one of Portugal’s most famous golf courses also the jewel in the crown of CampoReal Golf Resort & Spa is Donald Steels extraordinarily beautiful and uniquely challenging 18-hole, 72 par championship golf course.
There is also much to interest the visitors beyond the obvious attraction of Golf, Tennis , Water Sports on the Obidos lagoon , Horse riding , surfing at nearby Baleal and Peniche , go karting in Bombarrel, a new waterpark in Nazere or just sampling the natural beauty walking or cycling in the nearby forests. The historical Town of Lisbon with many museums and monuments, the Lisbon ZOO is a must for the kids.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
