Kostas and Bo were great hosts and have a wonderful villa. My husband and I have just returned from a fab 2 weeks at the villa. The villa is new (completed March 2011) and has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. The photos speak for themselves! The Villa offers everything you could want from self catering accommodation including dishwasher, ironing board and iron, good hairdryer, electric toaster, toasted sandwich maker, electric kettle etc. We used the oven and hob to cook some meals for our nights in by the pool and they worked perfectly. The washing machine was also handy and was easy to operate.
As well as small local shops there is a large Supermarket on the way to Lindos where you can buy most things. However if your staying for a week or two I would suggest a trip to Carrefours on the way to Rhodes Town (45 mins away by car) as things are cheaper, maybe call in on the way back from a day out to Old Rhodes Town.
A car is essential for getting around. The villa is situated on the Massari beach road which also leads to Haraki. Whilst most beaches are pebbly there are a number of sandy ones, Agathi Beach is the nearest.
If your looking for a night out with a meal which is not too far away then Haraki is ideal and has some great restaurants. The drive into Haraki is about 5 minutes, on foot probably about half hour. For a more lively night Lindos is about 15 minutes away by car.

We spend 11 days in the house of Kostas and Bo. Our family is with 3 small boys -3,6,10 and they feel also very comfortable in the house equipped in high standard. House has 2 floor and we divide the house with kids they sleep - in the first floor there is a big bedroom which 2 of the boy used and there is a toilet and open kitchen with dining room with sofa which was comfortable for sleep for 3-th kid. On the second floor there is a nice dining room with 2 big terasas, bathroom and nice view from the balconies - see the nature and sea. House is very nice decorated and we feel there as our home. Place is close to Haraki village - nice romantic place - far away from the noisy resorts in the island and it was perfect for relaxing holiday - to go for evening coctail, beer or frape and there is good piza and 2-3 very nice tavernas. I think this is the best location in the island because you are in the middle of the island and is possible to go very fast to each place in the island. Top place for visit are Lindos - appr. 12km from the house, and Rhodos appr. 45 km /50 min/. House is very well supported - during our stay there is 3 times full prophylactic of the swimming pool - which is exccellent - we used every day after the beach - usually we go to Agati beach - very nice beach appr. 2-3km from the house - kids liked because it is sandy and they walk 100 meter and the depth is small enough to stay on foot. Kostas - the owner of the vilas is nice person and he support us with everything - we planned 3 days excursion in the island and he propose us very nice places for launch and dinner. He also organize for us excursion to Marmaris Turkey which is 1.5hour away from Rhodos and we evaluate this trip as a must. The second trip was to Symi nice island appr. 1.5 hour by ferry. Island is nice but there was very hot when we go and we prefer most of the time to stay in taverna and some cafe on the main street, there is a beach with nice cafe close to it. During our stay we used the barbecue to made some sossage, stakes and fish and we eat in the big table outside close to the swiming pool, kids liked it a lot. All the time when we need something we ask Kostas and he is very valuable person for us - where to buy home made bread, vegetables, fresh meat and fish. At the same time it is very good because he is living in the house close to villas complex and all the time when we need something it is one hand away to ask. Not to forget to rent a car. we will return again

The three villas in Haraki are owned by Kostas and his wife Bo. They live next door to the villas and provide the guests with everything they need. The villas are semi-detached but have more than enough space and privacy and the great plus is the private pool and the beautiful view across the olive and orangetrees towards Lindos.
The very nice harbour of Haraki and the beach are near at about 2 km, but a car is adviseable, alltough you can easily catch the bus at the Rhodes-Lindos highway at about 300 meters.
We stayed here three nights and went on to our normal adress in Lindos, but get a bit of homesick and returned after two nights to stay here again!
