Our Apartment

Welcome to our apartment in Puerto de la Duquesa, one of the best kept secrets in the Costa del Sol.
Our apartment is a spacious 80m2 with an extra 14m2 balcony. There are 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin. The apartment sleeps 4 people. A cot and highchair for a baby is available on request. 100% cotton bedlinen and bath towels are provided. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower.
The kitchen has everything you could need including a dishwasher and microwave. It has its own breakfast area off to the side and a separate laundry with a washing machine and iron. The large sitting/dining room has a satellite television, video, DVD and stereo with a video library for quiet nights in.
The apartment is fully air-conditioned and heated with marble floors throughout. It is on the first floor with views from the balcony to the blue flag sandy beach, the swimming pools and the gardens. You can eat your meals al fresco on the balcony.

Marina de la Duquesa
This prestigious new complex has four pools altogether set in fabulous tropical gardens with direct access to the beach. There is a small gym, sauna and a paddleball court. There is a lift for easy access and a designated secure parking space beneath the block.

Puerto de la Duquesa
The Marina de la Duquesa complex is in a quiet area on the seafront yet it is only 2 minutes from the marina and port area of Puerto de la Duquesa. There you will find numerous shops and bars, a bank with an ATM a newsagent, boutique, hairdresser and an internet cafe. Restaurants include cuisine from France, Italy, Thailand, China, India, Great Britain and Ireland as well as Spain.
The marina has more than 300 berths. There are no high rise hotels here to spoil the view. The blue flag beach stretches as far as Sabinillas and on to Estepona with children’s playgrounds. On the other side, it winds around the coast to Sotogrande. The waterfront is closed to traffic and in the summer there is a street market.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a east facing balcony, sea views, a tennis court. If you are driving there is a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

We absolutely loved this apartment. The apartment was spotless and just the perfect size for us. The views were great and we were steps from the beach. The area was perfect with great restuarants, markets and friendly people. We would go back in a minute.

A lovely place. The appartment complex is very well maintained, the appartment was very clean and comfortable. The pool area and beach were great. We had a lovely time and the people were very friendly. Peurto de la duquesa is very central to all resorts and easy to find. We hope to return to this appartment in the near future.

Although the property was part of a large development, as we chose to visit out of the main holiday season, we found the gardens and pool area to be quiet and relaxing. The property itself was very clean and comfortable with a nice view from the balcony. Just a pity that it never gets the sun (not while we were there at least). There was enough activity within the port with a good choice of restaurants. We can imagine that the area would get extremely busy during the summer months. All in all a great place to visit especially if you had kids (not that we did), as the pools, garden areas and direct access to the beach would be ideal.

Thank you Kate for providing me with a high chair and travel cot for my young baby. The apartment is in a lovely quiet area which is perfect when you have young children. It had everything we needed. We found nearby Estepona was lovely also and travelled there most days to a lovely beach called Playa del Cristo which was a favourite with the kids. This time I travelled without hubby so I do hope that we can avail of one of your apartments again sometime as I am sure he would like the area also. My sister is also visiting the area for the first time this coming Saturday and I have been showing her my photographs of the area and she is really looking forward to her trip. Thank you again Kate we really had a lovely time.
