Nicola and Gary (London) September 2012- We were very pleased with the villa .It was so near to the beach which was great for the kids. We spent most of the time at the infinity pool which was right on the beach . The kids loved it . They sold cold soft drinks and beer which was almost supermarket prices . Next door there was a 5 star hotel and a rustic Thai beach bar and restaurant . We ate there most days . Excellent value. For us , one of the best beaches on the island . There was even a massage bed on the beach ! The villa was bright and very nicely furnished . The kids had a bedroom each too which they enjoyed . We will definitely go back next year .

We stayed in the Villa for Xmas and New Year 2010.
The stay was good overall and the Villa is fine.
The Villa is in good condition, serviced well and has all basic amenities.
The TV’s are not hooked up to any DVD players or receive any reception so they are basically useless although they are in every room.
We asked for them to be connected but were told they cannot.
There is no stereo or internet so it is very quiet and isolated.
The interior is in fair condition.
The beach is good, secluded and not busy.
The pool was having minor repairs so we never used this area.
40% of the complex is under renovation.
You will definitely need a car or motorbikes which can be hired very cheaply through the owner as you are a few miles from the nearest restaurants and supermarket.
2 negative points.
We did have our jewelery stolen from the Villa and almost definitely by the cleaners.
We left the apartment with the cleaners there, came back a few hours later and my wifes jewelery was missing. Quite obvious really.
We reported this to the Police but of course very little they can do.
In all fairness there is a safe provided and we did use this for passports and money, not thinking the staff would take the jewelery. Stupid I know.
Apparently this happens a lot in Samui so beware.
The housekeeper became very defensive when we told her, pretty much blamed us for having jewelry ! ( ie: why did you bring so much!) and made a big fuss from then on of any requests. We then had to settle all our extra bills for the car, electricity, washing in advance as apparently we could not be trusted to pay at the end of the stay as previously agreed.
We had to be present when ever cleaning or maintenance was carried out as requested by the housekeeper.
Finally, as mentioned by other renters, the dogs are vicious and do attack so if you have kids this is a concern. They came at me several times as I exercise in the morning.
We just drove in the car to get round them, but they did bite. They went for me but I managed to kick one.
All in all we were not happy campers, mainly with the theft which I believe soured the stay and then the resulting dramas with the housekeeper asking for all payments in advance, being unhelpful and basically difficult from then on.
I can’t recommend the Villa based on these points and we would not return but the place is value for money and attractive and worth a look.

The villa itself is very nice but the description on the internet is not accurate. The walk to the beach/pool involves several steep hills.
You really need a car and be prepared to be in the middle of no where with no shops etc in walking distance.

This is our 3rd visit to Koh Samui.
The Villa itself is very nice and spacious and well maintained. The manageress Nuay was so kind and helpful. The owner also e-mailed us to check all was well.
The location of the complex is secluded and you will require a car to get to shops and facilities. The description of the location is slighty misleading as it is not in Choeng Mon, but round the corner at Tong Son bay. Five minutes drive to get from the villa into Choeng Mon is more realistic
Construcion work on about 50% of the villas at the villa complex has stopped but some individual villas have work ongoing. So most mornings at around 9 am the builders would commence at one of the villas to the rear and one at the front of us.
Villa No.37 has 3 agressive dogs that approached us (and anyone else) every time we walked passed the house. Teeth showing, hairs up on there back and at one stage they went for my husband and tore his shorts. On complaining to the British owner he didnt apprecaite the seriousness of the matter. Even when pointing out that our children were really scared. The onwer of villa No. 40 is now aware and is going to try to resolve this issue with the management of the complex.
The description of the small beach 500 meters walk through the complex are accurate and the option of 5 star or local restaurant next to it are correct. The local one is definitely worth a visit and the staff are excellent too, we had great time with the staff each time we dined there. The food is very good.
If you want a quiet location, with clean, spacious villa for which to explore the island by car then this is for you.

Just a quick note to say thank you for renting your villa to our small party .Everything went well and as planned with Annuay taking care of us during our stay. In fairness, we only used the master bedroom/ bathroom , ground floor toilet and living areas.
As we were on holiday , we ate out all of the time as the Thai food is so lovely and cheap to bypass, so in truth the oven/cooker never got a look in !!!!!
We hope to be in touch once again in the future , when we next visit Koh Samui.
Take care David and Karen

We loved the villa and the interior design. We loved the location as we could walk down to the beach which was the best we had ever seen . The kids were over the moon, as overlooking the beach there was a fantastic pool with sunbeds, .
My wife loved the fact that next door ,on the beach ,we had the choice of a 5 star restaurant or a rustic beach bar and restaurant which was oozing with charm , and also very very reasonable .
We will definitely be coming back next year .
