This apartment was beautiful, exactly as described, infact better! Upon arrival everything was spotless and working perfectly. The views upon opening the doors out onto the garden were breathtaking, and many an evening was spent with a glass of wine watching all the lights on the lake (and one tremendous thunderstorm, which my husband loved!).
The apartment is very well equiped, with everything supplied from towels down to washing tablets for the dishwasher, I didnt have to buy anything! The children especially loved all the extra touches with the wide variety of DVDs, books and games/toys for all ages (mine range from 3 years to 13). There was ample space in the bedroom for all three. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable and spacious and was decorated as I would have decorated it myself, and the built in wardrobes were enormous. We spent a week here in July, and my only regret is that we didnt spend any longer, next time we will book for 2 weeks, and will definately be booking this apartment again.
The restaurant at the top of the hill is very reasonably priced with stunning views over the lake, and the food was wonderful. The pool was never crowded, infact during the week there was several days when we were the only people using the pool. It was well cleaned and maintained. If youre coming then you MUST visit the Botanical Gardens and Vittoriale, the gardens are stunning and Vittoriale is steeped in history, which is what we love.
We all loved our time in this apartment and cant wait to book again for next year.

The accomodation was exactly as was advertised. It was very clean and well equiped for a self catering holiday.
Plenty of local information provided.
The stunning views and surroundings made for a peaceful and tranquil stay with plenty to see and do as well as many fantastic local restaurants.
Would definately recommend to couples or families.

The Villa has great view of the Lake, the environment is very quiet and relaxing. A car definetively is needed to get mobility while to visit beautiful town in the surroundings of the villa.
We really had an enjoyable vacation and definetively recomend this beautiful villa.

We have just returned from a great holiday here (August 2011) and were very pleased with the accommodation. Apartment has spectacular views and is in a lovely peaceful location. A car is an absolute necessity as the village of Tresnico is up the hillside facing Lake Garda.
The photographs are accurate and the apartment is modern and clean. The outside garden space overlooks the pool and the lake and is a great feature, much better than a balcony. There are loads of DVDs, a PS2 and some CDs which were a real benefit for our children.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right decision.
This apartment is very well equipped and managed. It has been hard to drag ourselves away from the garden and the pool, which have spectacular views of the lake.
We found the location ideal for exploring the Lake and its towns and villages, and we have enjoyed day trips to Verona and the Valpolicella wine area.
An aperitivo on the lake front at Bar Italia in stylish Salo is not to be missed- one hour suddenly becomes three, as you watch the world go by and give in to generous bowls of sweet onions and juicy olives!
Just one last glass of chilled Lugano on the terrace as the sun goes down and the lights appear over the lake. A great holiday.
When can we come back?!

Lovely, clean and well equipped apartment. Even better than in the photos!
Beautiful location with fantastic views over Lake Garda.

A well kitted out apartment, fresh, modern and spacious. We are a family of 4 and found the property to be more than ample for our needs. Fantastic DVD and CD collection which left us prioritising which to watch with the days remaining!
Biggest plus of this property are the views - tremendous! Doubt we will reside in similar accomodation with such a fantastic vista (except in Scotland of course-lol!)
Swimming pool was excellant with a variety of toys to play with, although be respectful of the other owners who love their serenity whilst sunbathing.
If coming to this part of the world again wouldnt hesitate to re-book.

Nice location on the hillside overlooking the lake, pool and property well kept. A little way from nearest town so car essential.
No negative points to make - minor few suggestions - one key for property and gate was difficult to manage for basic access of a small group - a second key set was really needed.

A very well equipped and comfortable apartment with spectacular views over Lake Garda. Even though our stay was in early March we were able to take our meals on the terrace and delight in watching the boats on the lake. The apartment was quiet, warm and cozy. We appreciated the books, toys, games, CDs and DVDs. A beautiful location surrounded by olive trees gave us a true Italian feel. Nice restaurants, shops and coffee bars in Salo where we wandered by the lakeside. We will be back in the summer and cant wait to enjoy the pool, visit GardaLand, Verona, Venice and Florence!

We stayed in Le Begonville after spending 5 days in Venice. The aparment was well equipped and very clean and welcoming.
The drive to the apartment was hair-raising but so much fun! Everything is in easy driving distance, restaruants, supermarkets, banks etc.,
The view from the pool was exceptional as was the view from the terrace and garden. The excellent selec tion of CDs kept us entertained during the evenings when we where too tired to venture out!
No complaints at all and we would certainly re-visit and recommend.

Lovely apartment - no complaints. Just one small observation - being English there was no English speaking programs on the TV and so the lovely holiday would have been enhanced by the extra TV programs (maybe sky), but this by no mean marred the holiday as there was plenty of Cds DVDs and books in the apartment.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends and use Villarenters again as I found them very efficient.
Thank you for a lovely holiday.
Regards
Vanessa

Very well equipped apartment. Great pool. Lovely views of the lake. The only downside for us was that there seems to be no soundproofing so a lot of noise carries from other apartments we were woken a lot by flushing toilets and noisy footsteps from neighbouring apartments and so did not get as much sleep as we would have liked. Otherwise I would certainly recommend it.

Although everything was fine, we spent the next week in a different property in the South of France, the value for money comparison between the two properties is in this properties disadvantage. Nevertheless it is a brilliant location with a gorgeous view. The description and the pictures accurately describe the property and all other reviews are a true description of the house. A car is definitely recommended for this property and rightly so. It is a good distance away from the bigger roads, and although there is a busstop in front of the property, I have never seen the bus that would stop there while going up or down the hill. I can recommend it to anyone.
Owner reply:
Hi, thanks so much for your comments. We wish we could offer the same rates as the South of France, but after some investigation I found out why there is a discrepancy - the price of property in Lake Garda is much, much higher! So glad you enjoyed your holiday, if you'd like to come back again I would be glad to offer you a repeat booking discount. Contact me for details. Kind regards
Sarah

The 72 bends up the 'mountain' to the property added to the excitement of the holiday and were worth the climb (in the car!) for the veiw across the lake from the apartment, which was spectacular both day and night.
The directions to the apartment were really clear...unfortunately didn't print the one's to the key box so had to back track from apartment to keys!!
Arriving late at night made the welcome pack very welcome indeed, however a toilet roll in the welcome pack would have been much appreciated.
The apartment was great as a base and the only thing we'd ask for extra was warmer bedding for October!!

Great location with wonderful view of the lake, although a car is a must to access amenities and the lake itself. The pool is very good and well maintained but is fairly deep and therefore not suitable for toddlers or those not confident in water. The accomodation is very good and well equiped and accords well with the description. Most of the apartments are occupied by Italians who visit at weekends, which meant that in the week we had the place and the pool virtually to ourselves.
We had a great holiday and certainly wish to return to Lake Garda and theapartment. We particularly liked Gardonne Riveria as it was less busy in August compared with some of the other towns on the Lake. The only criticism I would have is a welcome pack would have been useful since we arrived after the supermarkets had closed and we had nothing to eat and drink on the Sunday morning.

This has been an excelent holiday in a very well kept and equiped apartment.
If I had a critisism it would be that the steps and hillines of the car park and apartment area were not mentioned on the website description and that anyone with slight incapacity may find the execise too much-
we did not.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in a Beautiful apartment in a Fabulous part of the world, one that we will definately visit again

We were very happy with the apartment, and the complex in general. The facilities were very good, and the apartment was very comfortable for a family of our size (2 adults & 3 girls). The location is wonderful, but it was a little quiet for teenage kids. A car is a must, we found that we needed to explore Lake Garda and local towns / cities to keep the kids occupied. Gardaland and Canevaland hit the mark in this regard. The area around Lake Garda is lovely, and we will definitely be back again. The property itself met our expectations and was very good value.

A very clean apartment with stunning views across the lake. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was ideal, although could have done with more cooking utilities. A well equipped lounge with comfy sofa, TV and DVD player. Wonderfully quiet (except when the gardeners came early in the morning with their strimmer!). The payoff for tranquility is that it is not near to bars and restaurants so a car is essential.
This accomodation contributed to a wonderful holiday in a most beautiful location and we would recommend it.

It is located in a very quiet area and the locals are very friendly. The villa is about 4 miles on a winding hill, but once reached it has fabulous views and very tranquil.
The description on the website was very accurate and the villa was value for money. I would definitely recommend it to a friend and in fact I already have.
We did not require any attention during our visit.
Many thanks…I probably will book again.
Sheena
