This is a comfortable, well maintained property with lovely views and the description given is accurate except for the information about car parking which is misleading. It is almost always impossible to park in the Plaza Cabildo or anywhere nearby. On our second evening (Sunday) it took us 1.5 hours to find a parking space and return to the flat. The most reliable parking place that we found is a 30 minute uphill walk to the flat, although most of the journey can be done by taxi. Parking is a severe blot on what is otherwise a lovely place for a holiday.

It was a pleasure to have John and his family stay in my apartment and I am pleased to see that they enjoyed it.
Without a doubt, parking in a medieval hilltop village is restricted. Often it is the fact that this is an authentic Andaluz village that draws people here.
Whilst parking at certain times of the day can be difficult at others it is relatively easy. John did not follow my advice and returned to Arcos at the time of day when it is very difficult to find a car parking space within the Old Town.
I tried to make their time here easier on their first day by taking them to the supermarket in my own car after they had parked thiers so that they would not have to move it car again.
I think that their problems were compunded by the fact that Margaret, John´s wife, suffers with problems in her knee joints. If I had been aware of this I would not have recommended my apartment, or Arcos as a whole, as it is very hilly here.
Besides taxis there is also a local bus service which would have brought them from where they did park into the centre of the Old Town.

Absolutely fabulous place, clean and well presented. Would have no hesitation in recommending to a friend and will definately be returning. Couldn't have asked for any more. The owner was such a great help and made our stay even more pleasurable.

A well appointed apartment. Comfortable accomodation with everything available to make our stay enjoyable. The terrace gives outstanding views and is a wonderful location to enjoy a glass of wine whilst beating my husband at scrabble!!!

Very welcoming and informative owners. Arcos is a great location for the area and the views from the terrace are fantastic.

Mark was an enthusiatic and helpful host and the views from the roof top garden were very impressive. The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed.
The only drawback was the lack of parking in the vicinity of the apartment.
The town of Arcos was very interesting and it is a convenient base to see other towns such as Cadiz, Sevilla, Jerez de la Frontera and Rhonda.
We enjoyed our stay.
Owner reply:
We have tried to make our apartment as much a ´home from home´ experience as possible and the type of place that we would choose to stay for our own holidays.
Stephen and Sue made the most of our facilities and were able to complete their on-going travel arrangements as we gave them unlimited access to our computer, ADSL internet connection and fax. It is nice for us to know that they appreciated this extra effort on our part.
The Old Town of Arcos is very picturesque and largely Medieval in street plan which is why most people choose to stay or visit here.
This does mean that parking can sometimes be problematic but we always go out of our way to make things as easy as possible for our guests. I have even been known to give up my parking space to make way for them!
We look forward to extending our hospitality to our next guests.
Mark
