We already have fond memories of our holiday at Villa Kathleen.
The villa is well equipped and well positioned for those that want to explore the island, and to retire to the peace and tranquility of your own surroundings. A car is essential.
The pool is a good size and kept very clean.
I would highly recommend as a good all round quiet family holiday destination, and would hope to return in the future.

This villa was outstanding.
My partner and i with my two sons were so excited about our holiday here. After seeing the pictures on line.
We did not expect what was at the end of this dirt track we turned into.
It was amazing. We just dumped our cases at the door and jumped in the beautiful pool. We were in there untill 6pm from 12:30 when we arrived. Then cooked some meat on the bbq we bought from Lidle on way to villa.
The setting is beautiful the locals very friendly.
You must hire a car when your here its so much easier as the road in is a bit uneven under foot in the dark. WE will be back infact im looking at dates and prices right now.

Lovely quiet location 20 mins from airport. Car hire essential. Very comfortable with brilliant views all around. Swimming pool well kept. Directions need to be alot more specific as it,s too easy to get lost ! Villa rep very helpful indeed.

We found the property fairly easily after taking a lane that was sign posted private. We absoulutly loved the villa, clean, set in lovely peaceful surroundings & perfect for our young family. We travelled around the island with the rented vehicle which I would recommend as walking along the roads are a little tricky.
Loved so much we are considering coming back again!

Although we did find the villa a little hard to find (I think the directions could do with updating!) we called Lisa and she was very helpful and directed us easily to it. Once there we were really pleased with the villa and enjoyed a nice relaxing week. We appreciated the welcome pack which greated us and also the 2/3 times a week pool cleaning. The pool and grounds were imaculate. The area its self is lovely and quite and we found several great places to eat. A very enjoyable stay.

We found Villa Kathleen more than met our expectations. The photos on the website definately do not do the property justice. The welcome pack was gratefully received and much appreciated. We could not find any fault with the villa at all. The setting was excellent and all you could want for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The children loved the pool and there was plenty of room outside the villa to play. We suggest that you do need a car in order to get around and see the island. Grocery shopping was best done at the Lidl supermarket 30 minutes drive away. The cockerel might wake you on a morning but this is nothing in such a wonderful setting. If walking on an evening a torch is required as once away from the main road there are is no lighting.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would go back again.

Went to the villa at the end of September/early October, so it was the end of the season and very quiet. Loved the olive groves around the villa and the swimming pool was fantastic. Might be more noise from the new neighbouring villas in the summer.
Definitely need a car to enjoy being this far out of the main centres. Could walk to the local shops although the road looked a bit hairy to walk on as there was no footpath.
Villa looks even better than the photographs.
Had a great time.

A lovely, well equipped villa, excellent pool and surroundings

Villa Kathleen exceeded our expectations as we arrived, and after the hassle of flying with a one year old, the welcome pack of essentials (beer, wine water and teabags etc.) was very welcome indeed. It is a far better looking villa than the website photos suggest, indeed people would often go out of their way and stop by just to see/photograph it.
Set in an “out of the way” but not remote location, I would strongly recommend hiring a car while staying here. It nestles in the well established olive groves to the West of Lithicia, the villa is a recent construction with a traditional Zante (stone) finish. It has a number of balconies and terraces with excellent views of the surrounding location, a large garden and we certainly enjoyed the well maintained pool. Internally the villa is everything we hoped for, clean modern and spacious with all the appliances required.
As this is Greece “peaceful” is a relative term (goats, chickens etc. inhabit the surrounding groves) but settling down with local wine and beer on the front balcony in the early evening is a joy to experience, and later with the surrounding lights on the villa becomes the stuff dreams are made of.
We believed Villa Kathleen was very good value for money, and would certainly recommend it to friends who love Greece, the one reservation I have is that it raises the expectation for all future holidays in Greece to a very high level.

Villa Kathleen is located in a very picturesque setting within easy access of all local amenities and restaurants. The accommodation is excellent, with a large pool and garden, giving plenty of privacy, ideal for a fun and relaxing family holiday. It's only 10 minutes from the airport and we had no problem finding the villa, as driving on the island is quite easy.

From July 06...
"The e-mail dealings with yourself were very good and helped make it feel that we were renting off a friend. On the whole it is difficult to find fault, it's a lovely house and island and was the best summer holiday we have had. I would recommend it to any one."
