Linda and Patrick made us feel very special throughout our stay. The villa was everything we expected and it was easy to entertain 6 adults day and night. There was everything we needed for a self-catering holiday and there was nothing better after a days touring around the region than lounging around the pool enjoying the lovely garden and hot, evening sunshine. well presented villa - loved it everything you may need is there
car is quite essential to maximise pleasure of location and villa
owners absolutely first class nothing is too much trouble
would suit young families (including teenagers) and also more mature couples
stayed 5 weeks and loved every minute of it
we are returning in 2013

Wonderful villa!

My wife and I took our 2 children (one aged 9 months, and one 5 years) to Villa Higueras for an 8 day break and were delighted from start to finish.
A comfortable, spacious villa quietly tucked away from any noise yet close enough to shops and restaurants... perfect. The villa is superbly well equipped, very clean, homely - and our 5 year old loved the pool (as did we!) not to mention the table tennis!
Linda you made us feel very welcome and comfortable to just relax and enjoy our holiday, many thanks. For anyone reading this, I highly recommend choosing villa Higueras !

beautiful villa. exactly as described on the website.great facilities and very clean. the owners were brilliant, very helpful and friendly. second to none! would highly recommend this villa to any one we know. an assortment of restaurants and bars within a 10 min walk.
we had an excellent week, spending most of the time at the villa as our son was recovering from an operation, and the owners, linda and pat, put themselves out by helping us hire a wheelchair and by providing our son with extra games and entertainment.
having a car would be beneficial.
mijas is a 10 min car journey and is well worth a visit.
fuengirola has all the bars and clubs if thats what you like, el coto is alot more laid back.

Stayed in this absolutely beautiful villa for 1 week at he end of Aug 2011 and it was exactly as shown in the photographs. Private pool and gardens perfect for relaxing through the day and eating out in the evenings
Comfortable beds and living area, pool table, table tennis, English Sky TV, DVD player which was great for my teenage daughter, no chance of her getting bored!!
The Villa is extremely well kept and spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and more.
Fuengriola is just 10 minutes in a taxi and 5 minutes to nearest restaurants / bars / supermarkets. (15 minute walk if your feeling fit)
The owners Linda and Pat are lovely and were only 5 minutes away if we needed anything.
Booked to go back end of Sept 2011 with the girls for a week can’t wait, see you then Linda and Pat

“We have been staying at various properties in this area for the last 18 years and this villa gave us everything we needed. In a small four villa gated community we found the peace and quiet we had previously missed. Not a sound at night. Perfect. It is within easy reach of the main routes to everywhere on the coast without the inconvenience of negotiating heavy traffic. The villa itself is very much a home with every facility of a home. The kitchen has every piece of equipment for cooking and has the luxury of a separate utility room. The three bedrooms are all comfortable and blessed with real pillows and rugs. The two bathrooms are more than adequate. Outside there are plenty of areas to follow the sun or shade whichever you prefer! The owners cater for your every need and as they live only a few minutes away quickly respond to any queries you may have. We had a wonderful three weeks at this villa and whereas on previous biannual visits to this area spent a great deal of time travelling away from our accommodation this holiday we rarely travelled far as the accommodation catered for our every need. I would highly recommend it as a holiday 'home'.”

Very nice villa and the weather was great for November but the pool was numbingly cold. Only went in it once and only for a couple of minutes. It could have done with being heated.
We also think it would be a good idea to offer holiday makers the opportunity to purchase a sky viewing card for the time they are there

A very nice villa, but with a difficult approach drive down a steep and tightly curved hill - watch for scratches on your car! The pool was perfect, the villa was very well set out with the lounge at the north (cooler) end which would be ideal during very warm weather. The owner was very helpful with directions and a welcome food pack on arrival.
