The villa itself was very clean and well appointed with every facility. In a quiet location, a little remote but the local Dolmus Buses to Fethiye town and beyond are frequent and run until late. The pool was maintained and the grounds well kept. All in all, excellent value for money. We had a lovely time and would have no hesitation in recommending to other holidaymakers. We hope to return soon.

I have been to this villa 3 times now and will definitely be returning. The location of the villa is ideal as you do not need to hire a car. Restaurants, shops and the beautiful harbour are all within walking distance. The bus stop is 1 minute away, which will take you to the beaches. The Turkish people are among the friendliest I have ever met when Ive been abroad and I have now made many new friends. The villa is bright and spacious and tastfully decorated. It is always immaculate and the gardens are very well kept. Maggie the owner lives close by and is always happy to offer any help with booking excursions and recommending places to eat. I have recommended this villa to family and friends and they have all agreed that it is the best villa they have stayed in.

I have stayed at this villa on several occasions. Everytime I have found it to be clean and welcoming. The transfers from Dalaman airport have always been on time and Maggie has been nothing but helpful. It is only a few min walk to the harbour, where there are numerous lovely restaurents to choose from. Alternatively a short walk to the bus stop will take you to either Calis or Olu Deniz.. This is a great villa for either a family or just friends holiday. Cant wait to go back !

Due to an excellent holiday at Katz Villa in 2010 returned in 2011 (3rd to 23rd Sept) which just confirmed it was a good decision to return. In fact possibly better than the first visit as we did not take a few days to find our way about and made better use of the Dolmus buses that pass the foot of the road every 10 minutes. The fare is only about 60p and this gets you into the centre of Fethiye or Challis Beach in about 10 minutes. If anyone is considering Katz Villa for a family holiday in a quite but convenient location with superb facilities dont think about it - book it!. You wont be disappointed! And once again a big THANK YOU to Maggie for being so welcoming. Bob & Zena Wilson (Dundee), Alex & Helen Coyle (Dunfermline)

This villa has everything that a large family could want for the perfect holiday. It was wonderful to wake up in the morning, open the door and go out and sit by the pool. It has an ideal quiet location being close to the promenade with its restaurants and only a short walk from the town centre, but away from the tourist crowds. Many thanks to Maggie for all her help and advice. Roy, Noi, Mark, Clare, Julia and John.

We stayed at the Villa in May 2011, This was our second stay here as it met our three Cs, clean comfortable, close to everything. Maggie and David have done an excellent job in setting up the perfect vacation retreat.
Highly recommended.

A great holiday (5th to 19th Sept 2010), in a great setting, in a superb Villa with absolutely no hitches or problems. All arrangements went like clockwork including the transfers thanks to the efforts of Maggie the owner who was readily available for advice but in a very unobtrusive and pleasant manner. We always holiday as a foursome (wives are sisters) and Katz Villa was one of our best. A very big THANK YOU Maggie.

P.S. We were tempted to say the holiday was terrible - but only to ensure Katz Villa was available next year in case we decide to go back to Fethiye!

Katz Villa...What can we say. Except it was absolutely fantastic and we loved every minute of our stay. The villa was everything we expected and more. It was lovely, clean and spacious. The pool and the well kept gardens were wonderful. The transfers from the airport were spot on. The villa is in strolling distance of all the local amenities. We would just like to thank Maggie for everything she did for us at our stay in Katz Villa and we hope to return soon. We would definitely recommend the villa to anybody.

What can I say...... Our 1st villa holiday and were now converted. This property ticks all the boxes. A beautiful well kept and equiped villa in the most ideal location.
We were a party of 4 adults and a 2 year old. The villa is child friendly and its not too slippery by the pool. In fact the baby spent most of the holiday in the childrens pool. Theres a high chair etc at the villa if required.
Its about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the sea front about another 10 minutes to the harbour. You must go on one the 12 island cruises, brilliant value for money.
Maggie the owner is a star, and made sure we had a great time.
Well done Maggie, A 5 star holiday

I stayed at the Katz villa for a week at the end of May this year.
I was there with my husband, daughter and grandaughter and we did have a few teething problems at the beginning of our stay because the highchair we were expecting wasnt there.
To her credit Maggie did sort this problem out quickly for us, and we did have a good time here, but i dont think the villa is child friendly.
Overall good value for money though.

Maggie takes great pride in her villa and it shows. Of the many rentals weve used in Turkey, this one has been the best. The villa itself is beautifully laid out. The location is a short walk to anything you require and the pool area is lovely. We definitely would like to come back to Fethiye and stay at the Katz Villa.

The villa is in a great location, within easy walk of all that you need. It is in the middle of a local residential area with lovely neighbours.
There was plenty of space for a family of four, it has comfortable beds and a secure feeling to it. It also has very good electronic equipment, TVs, DVD, satellite, radios, hairdryers, etc.
We arrived as probably the first guests of the season and it was a little dusty and unprepared in places but aside from that we had a very good stay at Katz villa and would stay there again.

Stayed here with my family for a week in August and had a fantastic time. Everything was catered for and could not really fault it at all. When we arrived(2am) we had no turkish currency at all but the fuel garage at the end of the road gave us some money for the basics and we gave them it back the following day. Darren and Debbie were a great help as was the communications with Maggie. Friendly, quiet, clean, and close to harbour. Bakery at the end of the road was a bonus. Will return to this property soon and we very happy with all arrangements.
Thanks all. Rob

I stayed at Katz Villa over Christmas with my partner and absolutely loved it. Weve not stayed in a villa before, always opted for hotels, but having the extra space was just wonderful. Inside the villa was just as in the photographs. We were not disappointed at all.
Five minutes away is the main road where we could catch a dolmus, theres also plenty of little shops and youre not far from a large supermarket - ten minutes walk and youre theres the harbour. The location is great - youre not on top of everything but not far from anywhere.
We were given plenty of information by the owners - telephone numbers should there be a problem - and we got a visit by someone who wanted to make sure that everything was OK.
Would definitely book again. We stayed in the wintertime so couldnt use the pool but I should imagine in the summer it would be lovely.
Make a booking - you wont be disappointed.

Katz villa was just as described, beautifully decorated, spacious and the pool was fantastic. There was an abundant supply of towels and linen and the air conditioning was the best we had ever had. To have the arrival transfer from the airport included was a bonus. Darren, the gardener and pool attendent was also able to give advice and directions as needed. On the one ocassion we needed to clarify something with Maggie she responded very quickly. We ate out every night so I cant really comment on the cooking facilities, although I did notice there was a cooker and a BBQ! The information pack was very helpful.
The nearest shop was just 3 minutes away and it was just a 10 minute walk to the first of the harbour restaurants, where we had a very pleasant meal. (To go to the heart of the harbour took about another 20 minutes.) I would thoroughly recommend the 12 island boat trip. We went on a boat called Oasis which was owned by a Turkish chap with an English wife. It was so good a couple we met were doing it for the 2nd time that week! Saklikent Gorge is also not to be missed - do take advantage of the shoe hire and be prepared to get a little wet the further you venture in! We were lucky enough to have one of the local lads show us the way through to the end which really enhanced our day. There is a tip box half way along the gorge where you can show your appreciation for the help youve been given. My daughter commented on what a great family bonding exercise it was! Do try and stop for pancakes at one of the many places along the road on the way back - the locals were so welcoming.
Its hard to think of any negative points of our holiday. I would have happily paid a little extra for a welcoming pack of essentials, matching glasses would have been nice, the icebox did require defrosting and there was a little dust under the beds but these are just minor points and Im very fussy! My family found the villa and pool such a relaxing haven it was hard to tear them away from it to explore other places! In all we had a thoroughly wonderful time, with friendly considerate neighbours in a tranquil location in a beautiful country. Thank you Maggie.

A perfect place for relaxing in the Turkish sun. The children had a fantastic time and as they say, happy children means happy parents.
Only slight grumbles: swimming pool got steadily greener during the stay and by the time we left there were obvious clumps of algae on the bottom - this despite regular visits from Darrin to unblock the filter directions to villa were quite poor and we had to ask a few people the way. Must stress that these are minor issues and we really enjoyed the villa. Wed definitely recommend it to others!
Owner reply:
Dear Nick
Very sorry about the pool and the location instructions, we will look into both of these problems.
Otherwise it seems you and your family had a good holiday. and stay at Katz Villa.
Thankyou for your comments and we hope you can book with us again.
Kind regards
Maggie and Steve

Where to start!!! Just returned from a fantastic time here, Villa is beautiful and much more spacious than the photos show, my sisiter in law and her family had the other villa on site and we all agreed it was like having our own piece of paradise.
The Villa is really well situated for walking into town and along the promenade, there is also a bakers at the bottom of the road, often the bread was still hot from the oven and there is a little shop really handy as well.
Hope to get back next year and would certainly recommend this villa.

We have just returned from what can only be described as an idyllic fortnight staying at the Katz Villa.
The villa was utterly immaculate not to mention very tastefully decorated, everything you could possibly need during your stay was provided-Hairdryers (We found four!) beach towels, even extension leads!
Each room had individual air conditioning and ceiling fans-with temperature well into the hundreds that was certainly more than welcome at night.
The area was peaceful, walking distance to the shops & the harbour front-although we tended to get a taxi there as it was cheap & the weather was too hot to walk any distance. Next to the three villas, there is a small farm owned by a turkish lady who gives a wave & shouts an hello everyday.
The pools were cleaned and the beautiful gardens tendered daily.
Maggie, the villa owner is lovely and very approachable-she was happy to answer any questions we had throughout the booking process and made you feel reasurred about your stay. ie-you knew she was always at the end of the line and felt confident you would receive help should it be needed.
The two neighbouring villas are english owned & very friendly.
We have met a good friend in Mustafa, the taxi driver recommended in the Katz villa information book. He speaks good english & will help you in anyway he can. He was extremely reliable & has given us his email address to keep in touch with him & so our son can also become penpals with his daughter of a similar age.
The area of Fethiye was wonderful, so many wonderful places to eat out (One of our favourites was The Arena restaurant-on the corner of the harbour)
The people of Turkey are so friendly wherever you go. They love children, chat, pass the time of day, always make you feel welcome & just love a bit of good old fashioned bartering! So never consider paying the asking price in shops, there are some bargains to be had!
We visited Fethiye market (Tues) it was without doubt the biggest and best market by far weve seen in Turkey to date!
We visited Rhodes for the day travelling by hydrofoil, a good trip, although we spent a little time comparing prices with different trip companies making them fully aware of what we were doing. This proved worthwhile as they all tried to undercut each other & as a result we got a very good deal!
all in all a wonderful, relaxing holiday we were all sad to be leaving although, plan to return sometime soon!
Thanks Maggie for letting us stay in your lovely holiday home.
Alison, Craig & boys
Owner reply:

We spent a wonderful 10 days at Katz Villa in November 2007. The villa is beatiful with everything you could possibly want for a relaxing holiday. Property has first class facilities and decent size swimming pool, details shown on website perfectly accurate.
Inclusive travel arrangements from/to airport went extremely smoothly.
