The 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment with terrace is on the ground floor, in a residence called Le Graziella, situated on Ave Lattre de Tassignay in Cannes.

The apartment is approximately 60 sq m (+20 sq m of private garden) and has south-west exposure. It is air-conditioned. There is an intercom system, and an elevator. A parking space is also available in the private car park.

This accommodation is available for weekly rentals throughout the year.

The living room is furnished with a double size sofa bed, and a rectangular dining table seating 4. For your entertainment there is a TV, a VCR, a DVD, and a stereo with CD player. A French window opens onto the private garden.

Outside is a seating for 4, if you wish to have lunch / dinner outside.

The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator / freezer, an oven, electric induction hotplates, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, a dishwasher, and a washing machine.

The master bedroom has two single beds which can be joined together to make a double bed, nightstands with table lamps and a large built-in closets.

* Cannes is a major train terminus in France. The trains leave for Nice every ten minutes in the morning, then throughout the day every 15 minutes to half hour. The train ride from Cannes to Nice is 30-to-45 minutes depending on if you take a commuter train or not. From Cannes you can travel by train to Aix en Provence, Marsaille, Nice, Monaco, Italy, virtually all of France, and Europe.
* The train station is about a ten-to-15-minute walk from our apartment.

DESTINATION INFORMATION -
* The Croisette, in Cannes, is where the rich and famous meet. * The Croisette is where many of the famous fashion houses have their boutiques such as Chanel, Hermes, Versace, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Yves St. Laurent * There are several casinos in Cannes. They are all located near to the beach and can be found at the Princess Stephanie Hotel, at the Palais des Festival and at Palm Beach. Our one bedroom apartment is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood, just a few steps from the centre of activity (1.40 kilometres from the Palais des Festivals). It takes about 10 minutes on foot to walk to the beach and there is a bus stop right outside the door of our residence. Why not start planning your holiday right now??? Here is an idea for a one-day itinerary! Breakfast in Cannes... lunch just over the border in Italy... and dinner in Monte Carlo - you can be back in Cannes the same night.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The location was fantastic, right in the middle of bustling Cannes and the apartment really fits the bill too. The apartment, is in Le Jardin Florian, a newly built block on the Rue dAntibes, is comfortable, very well furnished and has everything one could want to make ones holiday perfect. It is so close to the beach but right next to a multitude of shops and restaurants. A definite find!

"Had a wonderful stay at the apartment in the very attractive and intimate Le Graziella development. The apartment was extremely comfortable and well furnished and it had everything that I could need. It is a short and pleasant walk, or bus ride, to the centre of town, but the quietness, very comfortable surroundings including a very pleasant patio area, not to mention the lovely swimming pool more than compensated for its not quite central position. Sherry and I really enjoyed our stay there - just what the doctor ordered. We walked alot, enjoyed the scenery and beautiful village of Cannes - even took a bus ride up to Mougins (village) for dinner one night. It was gorgeous (if not pricey).

The property was excellent, and had all the necessary fittings and fixtures required for the purpose. However, after we were shown the premises by your agent and she had left, we discover that there was only two bath towels, and there was no coverlet on the duvet. This latter we regarded as being unhygienic. We had to telephone the agent to ask her to bring more bath towels and a duvet cover, and she told me that she could not bring us these items the next day as she had her own personal commitments. However I told her that I wanted these early the following day, and the other agent brought them to me. Greater care must be taken to ensure that all replaceable hygienic requirements are met, particularly as these items were included in the inventory left in the apartment, and were included in the price.

I am sorry to hear that the original supply of linen provided by our property managers was not sufficient for your purposes, and am pleased to learn that the matter was quickly rectified.

I was however surprised to read your comments, since I had previously received your email of the 26th September 2005, where you stated as follows -

You have a beautiful apartment and it is very well situated, and it is so quiet and peaceful here. Everything we need is here.

Meantime we have had glorious weather here. Cannes is in the middle of some yachting festival and we had the most marvellous display of fireworks on Sunday night.

The apartment was bigger and better than we expected, and in good order. The building and gardens were also as good as the pictures suggested, with an excellent pool. The 15-20 min walk was more than ok and it was good to be staying away from the hustle and bustle in the town centre. All things considered, it was an excellent location, which we would recommend. Our only gripe concerned the rules regarding sun-loungers etc not being allowed by the pool or in the garden. No reasonable explanation was given for why this was the case and lying on a mat wasn't a particularly desirable substitute.

Owner reply:
We are sorry that Mark was disappointed about the matter of the sun-loungers. Unfortunately the regulations of the "Residence Le Graziella" prohibit the use of sunloungers in the swimming pool area. It is for that reason that we supply 3 inch thick foam beach towelling mattresses for the use of our guests, which they can take down to the pool for sunbathing. We trust that Mark will consider staying at our apartment on a future occasion.

Our kids really enjoyed swiming in the lovely
swimmingpool. Only very hot weather and the sickness of our 4 years old boy made our holiday little bit hard...

Dear Joel

I want to take this quick opportunity to thank you for all of the date changes and etc.

Your condo is superb and we had the best time of any vacation.

On the first Sunday May my wife and I went to the early market. We arrived just as they were dismantling the booths. Beth tripped over a gate someone had left on the ground and she fractured her right arm. Was taken to nearby Hospital at the top of your street. They believed she had a fracture that required surgery. My wife is a nurse and she talked them into just casting her arm and off we went. We went to Massachusetts general Hospital on May 8th and my wife's fracture only needed a sling.

The reason I am writing is that despite LIFE we had the best time and hope that your person in Cannes found the condo almost as clean as we arrived.

We are considering asking to take the last week of April and first of May for next year. You have a spectacular home there.

Met some people from Orange County California told them about your property they gave me their e mail which I will send to you

I have a heavy Court schedule starting today.

We have a very lovely home with a Mercedes Benz that would be available . Have you or would you consider a house swap. Just an idea....

With a great experience in the best condo in Cannes I will close.
