The Villa was beautifully decorated, large pool area with great slide for our seven year old, but disappointed the heater was not working on the pool we always make sure we go to a villa with a heated pool in September, also when we arrived there was no microwave! first villa in ten years of renting we have never had the option of a microwave, not great when you have to put a cooker on in the heat we had! the big shock was the washing machine! it did not work! we had to wash clothes upstairs in a bath for a week until eventually the owner sent someone to sort it exactly one week later, but hey!! after that drama we then had a great holiday! We always hire a car when we go to Spain recommend you hire a car as Mar Menor is a bit out of the way to the nearest town ( Alcazeras) where we ate most nights, also fantastic beaches down there .

We were more than happy with this beautifull villa, inside was so homely and well presented, the pool area was a perfect area to relax in the sun. The resort was very quite in September which was what we wanted but had a nice Irish bar and a couple of restaurants (some however were closed which was dissapointing). You do really need a car to get anywhere like beach or town but is literally ten minutes easy drive from airport. Would definately reccomend and will probably be back. On a personal note thank you to David and Justine for your help and understanding with our circumstances .

Have rented this property on 2 occasions, I was very surprised by the quality and cleaniness of this property on my first visit as it was the first time that I had ever rented a property so I had no hesitation going back. There is a 10 x 5 pool (approx.) out the back of property with ampil sunbed and sun towels supplied, the area was fully tiled to a high standard and was very private. The house itself was immaculate inside with a good selec t of TV stations (sat. etc) 3 generous bedroom with plent of storage space, hangers etc. You would require a car if you wish to tour the outer areas of resort but the owners were very helpful in organising a taxi to and from the airport, there is no need to leave the resort if you do not wish to as the facility has every thing on site, shop, restaruants, 5 star hotel, you can order take away, gym, irish bar and a social center bar. Would like to take this time to tell the owner that there property is a credit to them and I will be booking again.

Depending on what kind of Holiday you want, you need a hire car to get out and about. We had a relaxing time without that facility and came home refreshed. I could have easily stayed for longer.

As a family of seven, Son, Daughter in law and three grandchildren, we were very pleasantly surprised to see the quality of the furnishings and equipment, from plenty of hangers, loo rolls etc to the number of sun loungers (yes for mid Feburary). The breakfast package we ordered was excellent to include wine and beers as well as the expected breakfast food and drink. The website booking could not be improved, it was SO easy and the photos depicted the accomodation exactly! As new owners ourselves, can you tell us where you bought the furniture? We will have no hesitation in recommending this villa as a perfect rental. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Regards

Lovely villa, with a huge pool and waterslide for the kids. Spent most of our time around the pool area, which had a table and chairs for dining as well as pool chairs for relaxing.
The location of the villa was perfect, near to Torre Pacheco and Los Alcazares - where we spent most of our nights.
The Mar Menor complex is immaculate with well maintained gardens and plants and the streets are completely litter free. The facilities on site are good too - we used the local shop which was well stocked - didn't have time to go the the newly opened Intercontinental Hotel (which looked fab)- but will try it for dining next time!!
Perfect for families (we're not golfers really - but we like the greenery!) and we'd recommend hiring a car so you can get to the beach and nearby local resorts.
