This accommodation far exceeded our expectations. The customer care from Terry and Roz could not be faulted. The cottage was so well equipped that we wanted for nothing, in fact, we liked it so much we stayed an extra four nights. Thanks to the efforts of Terry and Roz we had a great holiday!

Terry and Ros were excellent hosts - greeting us on arrival despite us getting to Villa Cresta after midnight. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and their welcome hamper was a thoughtful and very welcome touch which made our first day completely stress-free. The tranquility of the setting and the views were lovely, and we ate out in the little garden area every night, using the BBQ on one of the evenings. We were particularly grateful for the paddling pool and toys for our 9 month old baby and had a very relaxing holiday.

Lovey clean house in a beautiful and quiet environment. A great base to go out and explore the surrounding towns/villages. The care package on arrival was amazing - especially the eggs and wine! You do need a car to be able to get around as not much in walking distance. The perfect place to stay and escape from the world. Really lovely setting with some beautiful views, especially at sunset. The owners were lovely and really helpful giving us lots of hints and tips on things to do and the folder in the apartment is packed with ideas of places to go and useful information anout getting there/parking etc. We would def stay here again.

We visited in May 2012 We had a really great time. The property was spot on! Meeting all our requirements in terms of location and facilites. Very clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The location is stunning The villa is well placed to visit the surounding places of interest and the local restaurants are excellent however, your own transport is an absolute must whilst not remote it is very rural The owners (Terry and Roz) have their home at the rear of the villa and were very welcoming and helpful. If you like lots of hustle, bustle (you can always drive to it) it may not be your cup of tea however, if you want a relaxing place to unwind you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful countryside villa, great value for money and very welcoming. Helpful information about the area was excellent, made our travels alot easier. Only thing is if you dont mind driving long distances to get to certain places roads can be quite difficult, but makes up for it in spectacular scenery, there is plenty to do around the area, also. I would definately reccommend this to people who love being in the great outdoors and enjoys being surrounded by countryside. Will be back again!!

We had a fabulous week at Villa Cresta! Roz and Terry were great hosts and could not have been more helpful, providing us with lots of local knowledge and advice. The welcome pack of food was just what was needed and the green information folder was so detailed, you couldnt have asked for more. The property is situated in a beautiful part of Tuscany and it has a lovely secluded garden where you can truly relax and get away. However, you can easily take day trips to Florence, Siena, Arezzo and more if you arent one for sitting around. Well definitely be recommending Villa Cresta to our friends. Thanks again for a lovely holiday.

Roz & Terry made very amenable hosts. They were friendly & helpful, but not intrusive. Excellent welcome pack provided which was very helpful with a late arrival (10.30p.m.). Very nice, well appointed villa in a lovely location. Couldnt have asked for more at the price.

Small, inviting, authentic and friendly. We stayed here for a week, picked up the hire car from the airport and drove in, the property is owned by Roz and Terry who are genuinely loveley and very accommodating. Just a small drive in either direction can get you to a number of fantastic villages where you can experience the true delights of the area, we really enjoyed Il Rifugio (restaurant) and the the drive to Aruzzo where we sat enjoyed coffee in a bustling market. We also visited La Verna (the sanctuary for Francis of Assisi) which was amazing. As well as historical sites there a number of small shops and supermarkets only a short drive away, we stocked up and cooked in the aprttment a number of times. The area itself is open farmland and you often wake to the noise of chickens or the local hunters working the fields. If you like authentic, book up youll love it.

What a great place to relax without the hustle and bustle of the usual town and city experiences, yet still enjoy the flavour of Italy, its small-town life and the great scenery. The hosts, Terry and Roz, who live on the property, are gracious and friendly, open to requests for advice or help. They have thought of everything in their cottage-style apartment including a binder of usual information including maps to borrow and a welcome store of food - two items we did not have in our other 3 self-catering experiences on this trip. You must have a car and not mind the winding, narrow, hilly roads.

The property was clean and well kept. Roz and Terry were excellent hosts, helpful and solicitous. The apartment came with many unexpected touches that added to the ambiance and experience. They provided us with a welcome starter supply of food. We awoke to birdsong every morning. We felt at home. The apartment was an excellent base for exploring that area of Tuscany and there was more to see than we could accomplish in our two weeks there.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Cresta for various reasons. The villa apartment itself had everything we needed. Once we got used to the boiler and the fact we shouldnt turn the shower on full (although we were told this on the first night!) we easily had enough water for both of us to have a hot shower. The apartment is very clean, cosy and the real fire on a couple of nights (during April)was perfect. The solitude of the area and the shutters in the bedroom ensure a sound sleep and we had a really relaxing stay generally. The apartment itself is a short drive to so many beautiful towns and it is well serviced by the Cesena-Perugia motorway which is a 5-10 min drive away. It was my first time driving abroad but i loved it! During our ten night stay we visited la Verna, Monterchi, Alghieri, Poppi, Gubbio, Citti, Siena, Rimini, San Marino, Cortona, Assisi and a few others. The owners strike a perfect balance between supporting your stay from their villa (the generous hamper on arrival, countless dvds and advice) behind the apartment but really providing you with the space to enjoy. I will definitely be recommending the apartment to friends and family.

The owners greeted us with a warm welcome even though is was after midnight. The welcome pack of food was much appreciated and included everything we needed for a relaxing 1st days holiday. This set the trend for the rest of our stay. Lovely comfy bed, soft clean linen etc. Roz and Terry were perfect hosts, helpful, kind but unobtrusive. The countryside around is lovely with plenty of walks and medieval villages and towns to explore. The local swimming pool was a must to cool down after sightseeing. The local restaurants provide excellent regional dishes and wine. We were very taken with the kindness and patience of the locals especially regarding our terrible italian. We hope to return to do some walking when the weather is a little cooler. Thank you Terry and Roz for making our holiday such a relaxing and enjoyable occasion.

This property set a high standard which was hard for subsequent properties to beat! The thoughtful additions make this rental special. These included a starter pack of food, (useful for those arriving empty handed!) a huge range of DVDs, a complete library of visitor information, a well equiped kitchen, not to mention the thought that went into designing the premises. The location is quiet, and perfect for exploring the region, every site worth seeing is within reach. We enjoyed our time there very much, a home away from home.

Villa was absolutely superb and exceeded all our expectations. Really impressed with the facilities in the villa, particularly the wood burner on the cold evenings. Made an ideal base for visiting Tuscany the surrounding area and was very peaceful. The food parcel was greatly appreciated and came in very handy on the day of our arrival. Roz and Terry were very helpful and great hosts. Would defiantly recommend this to any of our friends and would not hesitate in visiting again. Thanks for the lovely stay and memories. We had a thoroughly relaxed and enjoyable 2 weeks at Villa Cresta. Ros & Terry had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and hassle free. The area itself is quite beautiful and we were able to visit many places. The villa itself was a good base from which to explore the surrounding areas. We would rate our holiday 10/10. Thanks Ros & Terry.

Villa Cresta is the perfect location for a low-key get-away from it all vacation. The apartment is very comfortable and the welcome package of food is a lovely touch. Fabulous hiking literally outside the back door, Roz and Terry are great tour directors! We felt thoroughly renewed when we left

A fantastic apartment that is a real treasure! We were made very welcome by Roz and Terry who were neighbourly but unobtrusive. They were a great help with train times and suggestions for day trips etc. The locality is beautiful with some fab places for days out; Florence, Assissi and Siena being just a few of the easy to reach places we enjoyed visiting, as well as some of the smaller 'off-the-beaten-track' villages that are quite spectacular too. Highly recommended overall - we'll definately be paying another visit asap!

A fantastic hideaway that is surrounded in a beautiful setting. It is exactly like how I imagined Tuscany to be. Roz and Terry the owners are really nice people and made us very welcome. It is a great base for travelling as well to places like Assisi, Siena, Florence etc. The location is set in a peaceful area and if you want to escape the rat race this is the place to come. The accomodation is finished to a very high standard and to be honest there is nothing I can say that that is negative about it! A real gem that I will revisit at some point in the near future. We had a lovely 10 days in early April. The apartment seems perfect for a couple or, like us, a couple with an infant (8-months). We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed by the owners who had heated the fire place for us. Nice gesture with the food basket and box of toys for our son. The house was clean and fresh and the view and surrounding nature was wonderful. We found it a great place from which to visit the surrounding villages and walk small parts of the many tracks. Also and perhaps most importantly, it is a nice place to just relax in the garden with a book.

On arrival at Cresta Villa we were greeted by our host & hotess. We were very impressed with the complimentary wine and food, and found that every detail had been completed to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. We were able to take daily excursions and come back to enjoy the peace and the sound of the occasional cowbell in the distance, and would definately recommend Cresta Villa, for a relaxing holiday.

A beautiful appartment in the wonderful Tuscan hills, a brillant place to get away as it's very peaceful. The appartment is very well presented and with all the equipment and utensils, it feels like a home fron home. The owners were fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. They were helpful and knowledgable, always on hand but not intrusive. The information folder provided contained everything you needed to make the most of the outstanding surroundings. It gave extensive details/maps of walks in the area and all the local attractions and must see towns. Upon arrival we found a food welcome pack, which after a long journey helped us settle in quickly, this included some wonderful homemade jam and a much needed bottle of red wine! However, this appartment should come with a strong warning.....The bed is so comfortable you could sleep for days!! Fantastic value for money, will be reccomending to family and friends, would love to return and explore some more.

The apartment was exactly as described, with many homely touches added too. The owners were most helpful and even asked if we needed extra wood for the fire as the mid October evenings were getting cool. The green file was very useful with plenty of local maps which are hard to obtain in the UK (we tried!). The welcome pack was very generous and much appreciated. The location was extremely rural and peaceful making it ideal for a get-away-from-it-all holiday. We may well go back next year.

On our arrival the first surprise was a very comprehensive food pack as we arrived late on a Sunday. The apartment itself was exaxctly as desribed and the quality of all the fittings to a very good standard. The extent of detail in providing all the cutlery, crockery, linen cooking facilities was to a standard that meant you were short of nothing. The owners were very helpful and supportive without being in any way intrusive. The guide books and many maps provided were excellent as was the radio and the DVD player, including the list of films available to borrow. The area itself is very rural and has excellent views. The local footpath network is extensive and some very dramatic views are less than 20 minutes walk away. Small villages and hamlets are many and provide the opportunity to exlpore real rural Tuscan life. An excellent place to stay and visit the local national park, Tuscany generally and Umbria. We would have no reservations in recomending this as a place to stay.

Lovely friendly owners set everything up for us upon arrival, including stocking the fridge with breakfast items and sorting out the additional cot we required. Place itself was homey and comfortable. We were left to enjoy the cottage and no fuss was ever made about any of the additional things we requested. Would recommend as great value for money for a couple or small family.
