This villa was excellent value for money in exactly the right location for Disney. It was everything we wanted, the area was quiet and the description and pictures of the villa were very accurate.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to a friend.
I think the management company could have been a little better.

Wonderful villa much more than we expected the beds were so comfortable and the decor lovely and clean. We had everything we needed and the kitchen was so well equipped it was a pleasure to cook in it. We were pleasantly surprised how central we were to all the sight seeing places we wanted to go to that was great. The weather in August was hot but the villa had an excellent air conditioning system with additional fans overhead even out at the poolside there was a breeze not over looked. A very well thought out villa for visitors, my family are going to it next year. We shared the villa with 4 other friends but it could accomodate 8 people no problem as it has 4 seperate bedrooms very spacious

The property was excellent. Very spacious and ideal for young chidren as there are no stairs. Any issues that arose and there were very few were dealt with quickly.

We were very happy with this property and would definately rent again from this owner. The house was clean and had all the things that were promiced. The house had plenty of towels and silverware. We had a minor prooblem with the code not working for the lock box, but was easily taken care of with one phone call.

We stayed in the villa from sept 5 till sept 16 and had a wonderfull time there. The house was beautifull and clean. The kids (3) enjoyed the pool and the space in the house. We didnt even use every room in the house. There was a little problem with the internet, but was directly taken care of when we mentioned it to the owner.
More then enough towels!!!!!
I definitly would return to this villa again and recommend it to our friends and family.

We stayed in August 2009 and had a fabulous time. The property is located just off the 192 just 2 miles from Disney which made the driving easy, quick and stress free. There were 9 of us in total and we had plenty of room and hardly ever used the 2nd living area! We had everything we needed for a home from home and were impressed with the appliances such as the washer and dryer. However we were disappointed that we couldnt play DVDs as we had taken loads for the kids but they dont take European DVDs! We also were told there was an Xbox, so we took games but found out it was acutally a playstation and we had left our playstation games at home!! That said, these were minor things and overall we thought the villa was fantastic and would definitely go there again!

The property really did become our home from home during our stay and everything about the home was of a very high standard. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed the sun from morning to sunset. It comes as no surprise that this villa is heavily booked I really enjoyed the property. It was clean, well presented, spacious, perfectly located just yards from the 192. So many shops and restaurants. Lovely souroundings and only 10 miles from the parks. My daughter and i really enjoyed our holiday and loved the house.

Spacious, clean, comfortable villa. Lovely pool, plenty of chairs, loungers. Excellent location, easy access to all parks, quiet at night, pleasant views. Internet access good and useful. Didnt use barbecue as you had to wheel through house and use outside lanai, however kitchen and utensils were more than sufficient. Had a great time would certainly return.

When we arrived, an Easter bunny was welcoming us at the clubhouse and had sweets for the kids. The house was very comfortable, well equiped with a washing machine, dryer, computer with internet access, games for the kids, etc. It was light, spacious and quite, exactly what we needed. Coming from a Caribbean island with a lot of mosquitos, it was a relief to find no mosquitos and airconditioning throughout the entire house.

We were very happy with Aladdins Retreat. We stayed 2 months, and whenever I needed to contact the owner, he was available - even though he lives in England. The location is perfect, the neighbourhood is quiet, the house was clean (except for some stains on the carpet) and we loved being in a secure environment. I have suggested that there should be a recycling program at Emerald Island, and with so many properties being dog friendly, there should also be a "poop and scoop" policy.

We were all delighted and surprised at the space and luxury the villa offered. We felt at home and relaxed the moment we arrived. The peace and quiet of the surrounding area - plus endless hot sunny days was sublime and the pool was an added bonus for the children. On site we also enjoyed the play area for under 5s as well as an immaculate community pool, basketball and tennis courts. The location for Disney, Sea World and the other theme parks was great, and we spent quite a few days at Downtown Disney, a favourite of our little 3 year old. The villa is well equipped with TV in all rooms, games for the children and videos. All in all a fantastic stay

This villa was our fourth rental on Emerald Island and it was the best equipped. Many of the places give you 3 plates and no toilet paper, but Aladdins Retreat was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The pool was very warm and the big screen tv a plus even though we had to watch our NY Giants lose on it!
You cannot beat the location, about 10 minutes from WDW and centrally located to just about any restaurant that you could want.
The only minor complaints were with the management company. The front light was out as was the light in the pool and we could never connect to the internet. Other than that, we had a fabulous time in a very lovely villa!

The property is not well managed. When we arrived the house had not been cleaned and was surprisingly untidy. The dishwsher was clogged with food, the floors unswept, the garbage disposal did not work, the front light has apparently been out for quite some time (according to the guest book), and the dishes in the cupboard were not clean.

Emerald Island Resort was ideally placed for us, close, but not too close. Plenty of local amenities. Aladins Retreat was a good property reasonably well maintained. Could do with some more cutlery though......

We had a bit of a stress out initially as we managed to get lost and had the wrong key code. However once that was sorted we found the villa to be lovely, very efficient air con. Perfect retreat from the disney hyperactivity. The evenings in the pool watching the sunset and fireworks from magic kingdoms display were voted tops by us all. We chose not to have the option of heating in the pool and we didnt miss it. Our trip was first 2 weeks sept 08. We would definately return as the location and everything suited us, as we had a car, which is really essential at this resort.
The only thing that we thought the owners may consider changing with renting the place out to so many folk, is the cream carpets, they are sumptuous but easily mark. I am not complaining but one of the first things my keen eye for detail noticed were stains on the carpets, which is out of keeping as the whole place was otherwise spotless, beautiful and luxurious.
We were out most of the time but when we came home if we werent in the pool, we were chatting and emailing friends/family, as there is full broadband access, we played pool and air hockey or watched tv, mainly the weather channel as we had a couple of hurricanes looming during our stay. I would have happily lived there forever and we all referred to Aladdins retreat as home and were sad to have to leave at the end of our holiday. We have been to florida before but never stayed at such a
lovely place and will never stay anywhere else again. Thanks to the owners for letting us share this wonderful Villa.

The house was newer and cleaner than we expected. All equipment was properly working. Perhaps the large TV is a bit of a disappointment but there are 4 more TVs! The "cage" around the pool is very functional. Access via the key lock at the front door was quick and easy. The Emerald Island resort is also quite nice, perhaps a bit quiet although our kids did enjoy the Karaoke on Saturday. Very conventient to shops, Disney, restauarnts etc on US 192. Overall excellent.

The house was excellent, nicely furnished, clean, well equipted and felt safe and comfortable. The location was great, quiet and convienent for disney, with a decent supermarket at Formosa Gardens about 2 min drive away. The house is a computer hot spot for those who wish to bring their own laptops, We had lots of space and enjoyed both the splash pool and the on-site pool complex. The kids loved having a TV too. Rubbish was collected daily and the pool maintainence man came and cleaned the pool. There were always staff around the pool/gym/shop complex and security staff on duty. This house was perfect for us and we would definately return again.

The location is excellent, we had no children with us but still enjoyed all the things on our doorstep, disney, universal etc. The house itself was just fab. We fell in love with the place straight away. the ground's are secluded and quiet, and we look forward to rebooking

Well looked after property that was perfect for our need's. The games room in the garage is a good idea and was well used by all of us on a nightly basis,this was a life saver at the end of a busy day. It was good to take a few dollars off my son and his friend at pool!!(Ha ha).We will definately be happy to visit this villa again. The only negative point would be that due to the layout of the Villa we did not have the sun on the pool area after about 3pm, but if you have pool heat as we did, it wont spoil your fun. This was our first time renting a villa, and we were a little apprehensive but now we would not hesitate to do it again. The villa was exactly the same as the pictures on the web site. We really enjoyed staying at the villa, it was very nicely furnished & comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet and very well maintained. Very easy access to highways and easy to find the different amusement parks.

the photographs of this property do not do it justice! It is a beautiful house, which is obvious from the photographs - also it is HUGE! We had everything we needed from a washing machine to a pool, a microwave to a games room - and more. We wanted for nothing. set on a hill not over looked therefore giving us shy Brits a little more privacy. The two sitting-rooms, two dining-areas and breakfast bar, not to mention the four bedrooms gave us more than enough in the way of versatility. Everything was new and operated perfectly, the house was clean, well presented and comfortable - we also felt we were in a safe area. We had a fantastic holiday in the house and at Disney (just a quick drive away) and would readily visit both again. I would recommend this house to EVERYONE!

Loved the house and plan on visiting again. We had looked into staying in a hotel, and with the number in our party we would have spend roughly $1,000 per night. This cost per night is for just a room with a small refrigerator in each room. We were all comfortable at winnies & aladdin's retreat. Seven bathrooms and Ten bedrooms provided us with our own space, which is important for the four adults traveling with 10 children. Will definately recommend to friends. thanks

Villa was fabulous. Everything was as described and no disappointments. Expectations were exceeded. Of particular note: plenty of space for all, beds are wonderful, kitchen has all the amenities, master bedroom ensuite is huge, pool is great, PC with internet connection is a bonus, neighbourhood is quiet and location is convenient. It's unfortunate we spent most of our time at the nearby theme parks and didn't take some time just to relax at the Villa. Oh well! Next time!

I'd highly recommend this villa, it's located close to the I4 for travelling around Florida and the leisure parks. The house was ideally located to all ameneties and was spacious throughout. Not only did it provide the four of us with an excellant platform to see all the sites around the area it was like home from home during the occasional evenings we stayed in. I would be more than happy to return and highly recommend the house on the grounds of it's location, claemliness and spacious layout. The pool and whirlpoolwere also extremely inviting after a long day at the theme parks. Fantastic holiday, which I will remeber for the rest of my life.

Was well worth the money and better then staying in hotel..... The spa temp could be little hotter.... They keep it at 95 degreees.. we went in march so we asked to raise it to 100 degrees for us and they did.....We plan to return in september for our next vacation

We had an absolute wonderful time! it was so hot we took advantage of the pool. The home was so spacious and we loved the open floor plan. We were extremely happy with the property. Everything was as described, and we were very comfortable during our stay. We had a problem when we arrived, as the paradise office was closed, and we didn't havefor gotten to bring the code to open the key box outside the door. However, we managed to get the code and that was soon forgotten. My wife had one very minor criticism, although the house was very well equipped, there was no filter for the coffee maker, so making that morning cup of coffee was slightly more of a job than at home, but apart from that, everything was great.location is excellent

"We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your fantastic home. This was the first time we had ever rented a home and we were concerned as everthing was done online (although we did telephone you with questions). On our arrival we were really impressed as the home was beatifully presented, and we really appreciated the welcome pack for that much needed pot of coffee, while the children went directly to the pool area. Your onsite managers chris & trish were great as they gave us information on the parks etc. We will certainly be renting homes in the future no more hotel rooms and we will definatly rent your home again for our next visit to florida"

just stayed in your villa it was clean love the view baloons
going over in morning was nice and its so close to disney we went in the morning came back changed went back in the afternoon
you should tell people how close it is

""WOW what a fantastic time we had. I don't think I will ever stay in a hotel again, having your own private pool and spa is really the way to go. After an exhausting day in the theme parks it was great to come home and relax by the pool with a cold beer and listen to the silence. Our holiday was over too soon and we would love to have stayed longer. we would recommend this villa very highly and have to all our family and friends. Extremely well-equipped villa - excellent for the 3 families who were holidaying together. Number of bathrooms great especially since we had a few teenage girls with us! Any problems were efficiently and quickly dealt with by the management company. Really appreciated the Welcome Pack since our flights were delayed and we didn't arrive until almost midnight. Would not hesitate to use this villa and Villarenters again - have already recommended both to friends!"

"We stayed for a few days and found the Resort and house excellent. The accomodation is clean and fully equipped with TVs in all rooms and DVD in the living area. The resort pool was fantastic for our kids with theplay-park’s and tennis courts. Some days they wanted to go there instead of the theme parks. All in all a great place for a vacation and I would recommend Emerald Island resort to anyone, especially families,I would recommend the retreat villa’s to every one

Was it good value for money?
Absolutely, the price was lower than most villas in the same area. The cost was less per night
Than Disney's most inexpensive hotel room where you get one room and a small bath. To get
4 bedrooms, huge master bath, private screened pool and a fully stocked kitchen for less money,
It is quite a deal.
Did it meet your expectations?
Exceeded my expectations, there were many extras that made the stay much easier such as
Computer access, there were paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags and dishwasher detergent,
These were nice surprises not usually found in other villas.
Was the description accurate?
Yes, property was just as described.
Would you recommend it to a friend?
Already have recommended this property for a get together next June.
Were you adequately looked after during your stay?
Yes, however, we did not encounter any problems and had no need to contact anyone.

First off the overlook of the Resort was really nice and close to perfect. The Aladdins Retreat was a great place to stay. It was as we were the first ones to stay in the house, thats how well its kept. The rooms were all the right size from the two 2 singles to the master suit.The washer and dryer was also a big plus, so you can limit the clothes you want to take, that was a big help especially when you have kids. Whats also great and important when travling with the family, is that the house is well located by the great things you need:supermarket, resturants, fast food, shops, and most importantly minutes away from the Disney World, Unversal Studios, and Sea World. It dosent get any better than that! I know people who want to got to visit Disney world as well as other great parks and I can't wait to tell them how great the Aladdins Retreat was in the Emerald Island Resort! THANKS!!!

"This villa was excellent value and exceeded all our expectations, the games room was excellent for the whole family, the fenced pool area was amazing and a brilliant way to unwind after a hard day at the parks. We had many a night under the lanai when the kids were in bed. The peace and quiet of the area was lovely.The kids loved their bedrooms and the master bed was awesome!!!We will be back and certainly recommend to our friends."

A really beautiful villa. We have rented many times in Florida but found this to be one of the best. Downside is that the pool is not as large as we have had in the past and also barbequeing is not allowed. Upside is that the villa was very clean,well equipped and had everything we required for a 2 week holiday. Games room was a bonus for the odd 'exhausted from the theme park' times! Loved to sit at the poolside overlooking the woods.Close to Disney,192 and International Drive, but far enough away not not be involved in the 'hurly burly'!We found the staff at the Welcome Homes Office to be very helpful and friendly.Our major complaint was that we had to leave!!!!!" yours."Bren

"My family and I (11 of us) stayed together in this house. It was absolutely beautiful.We enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood. It was a great place to relax after a long day at the parks. The home was beautiffuly decorated. The kids enjoyed the game room/garage. Having a "home" in Orlando was definatley the way to go.We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the home.
