A very spacious, bright and airy property with 3 bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs, which also has a pleasant balcony where I enjoyed my morning coffee.
The swimming pool was heated to a pleasant temperature and provided plenty of diversion from the cold and cloudy weather we experienced, as did the well-kitted games room.
One has to be a rally-cross champion to drive to the property, the adjacent roads being rather pot-holed, but the villa itself is excellently maintained and very presentable indeed. All-in-all, I would definitely recommend the property.

the villa is like the pictures on the website.
Beautiful villa with all the accommodations.

Really beautiful villa. Clean and tidy, lots of room for everyone and a lovely heated pool. Although there were villas near by, the area was really peaceful and relaxing. The kids loved playing in the large garden area and the heated pool. Would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with or without kids!

lovely villa and gardens.and many places to visit within easy reach.
Will be even better when the complex roads are properly finished as still a work in progress.

A beautiful house, with super pool and garden. Great facilities for all ages of children. Everything functioned perfectly.
Beautiful part of the Algarve to be based, quiet and unspoilt, but lots to see and experience.
Good supermarket and traditional restaurants and cafes very near by. Fantastic beaches within a short drive.
Welcome pack excellent.
We really appreciated the support from local managers.

The property was fantastic. You worry that the photos/description of a villa dosnt give a true likeness or only shows the best bits but in reality the villa outshone its reviews.
The pool and grounds were amazing.
You have catered for everything and really thought about the needs of your customers.
My only critisism is of the roads in the development leading to the villa they need abit of work doing.
All in all we had a great time. Thank you.

A splendid villa for an (extended) family holiday. Eastern Algarve represents great value for money - 6 glasses of very decent red wine for €6 in a bar recommended by the management company!

The villa was very spacious and well fitted. It was like home from home, we didint want for anything. BBQ and pool both very well used during our stay. There were 5 children in our party (aged 3 - 13) and all enjoyed their time at Casa Alegria equally. There was plenty to keep all of them occupied. Close by were well stocked supermarkets. The local Bistro recommended by Paula and Steve was a great hit, we returned 4 times in one week! Excellent food, wine and company! We are looking forward to returning and dragging ourselves away from the villa to explore the beautiful surroundings.

We were a party of 8 and stayed at Casa Alegria.
We were welcomed by Paula and Steve and received essential foodstuffs upon arrival.
We hardly left the villa during our week there so that speaks volumes as to how happy we all were there.
We certainly hope to return.
Sorry I do not have our booking number to hand

We had a lovely time at the Villa. There was a lot to do without having to travel huge distances and the heated pool was fab. All of Paula and Steves recommendations were spot on. The food at the local Bistro was wonderful and was well worth the price.

Another excellent holiday! This is the second year we have been to Moncarapacho and we would highly recommend it. The area is very relaxing and unspoilt and the early morning sunrise is an excellent way to forget the toils and troubles of "normal life". Paula & Steve are wonderful hosts, and their knowledge of the area is essential. They really strive to ensure that everything is perfect, and it helps to make your holiday just a little bit extra special! Yet agian the villa was well equipt and very spacious - We can never go on a package hoilday in a hotel again!

Just returned from a week in Casa Alegria (Sept 2007). We were a party of 4 adults and 4 children aged between 12 weeks and 2.5 years. The villa is really spacious, has everything we needed plus more - like toys and pool stuff for the kids. The heated pool is a godsend as it meant we could swim even if it got overcast. The development the villa is on is not 100% complete but we were never distrubed by the sounds of building or anything of the sort - not even sure there were any builders on site. Location is pretty good, 10 minutes from Olhao which has a very nice waterfront for kids, and a great fishmarket. Otherwise, a variety of excellent beaches and very nice towns are within 20 minutes drive. All in all - excellent.

The house, pool, and property are excellent. Swimming in the pool with those beautiful sunsets was priceless. When the development in the surrounding area gets closer to completion it will just add to the overall experience. Paula was a huge help in recommending a wonderful local restaurant with great food. See directed us to the local super markets as well as a great local flea market. Moncarapacho is definitely a great resort area close to Spain and all the great beaches of the Algarve,

A very nice villa with a lovely pool and garden. A perfect place for a lazy, chilled out holiday provided you don't want any local entertainment. Unfortunately, the property is let down by surrounding development work, much of which has been halted due to financial issues. However, once inside the villa or around the pool, the view is quite pleasant with a nice rural feel.

The Villa was fantastic, clean, modern, beautifully furnished and equipped. The pool was lovely with the purest water and the garden was beautiful. We would definately go back to Casa Alegria again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is great, and our host at the villa, ms Paula Wilson was very helpful. She was fantastic.
The only thing that was a little bit disappointing, it is 3,5 km to the nearest food shop, so a car is absolutely needed. In walking distance there is only one restaurant for now, but that is also a good one.
But, the house is very nice, the pool and the area around is also great, så i can highly recommend this villa!

The family visited in April. Excellent first class villa, garden, pool, countryside, villages, local restaurants. Most of the time we spent in the villa, enjoying the swimming and BBQ. Very low cost food and drink. Recommend highly.

This is very much the unspoilt Algarve, the whole area is quite lovely, peaceful, low cost traditional food, lots of local markets/places to visit, very nice local people. The villa Casa Alegria was superb, very very large, wonderfully furnished and equipped, so much space!!! And, importantly the heated pool was magnificent. Planning to return next year with more friends.
