Following are some comments on your home in Kissimmee, FL.First let me say, the resort area is very nice, and one gets the feeling of true security with the guard at the gate most hours of the day/night.The home is beautifully decorated, and was a pleasure to stay in.The pool, spa, and pool area were great. – Lots of pool furniture to relax in. and plenty of pool towels for use at pool. The spa was great after a day of walking the Disney parks. The center island in the kitchen area was great, and a area of much family congregating,cooking utensils (i.e., pots & pans) are enough for amount of people And as my final comments, I make the following recommendation: First let me say, that all your small electrical appliances (i.e., toaster, blender, coffee maker, etc.) are top quality. I recommend adding the following (to make a super kitchen): 1 family size griddle with warming tray 1 waffle iron I know these comments have been lengthy, but your home is beautiful, and I didn’t want the minor anomalies noted above to detract from its beauty within the resort very few have any back lawn or a view so nice a almost private playpark.and overall readyness for a relaxing stay

The pros of this property: the spacious layout, we had plenty of room to spread out, the bedrooms were a nice size and there were plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The location was wonderful, close to the Disney parks and grocery stores.
The cons of this property: the decor is not as nice as it appears in the photographs. There is a large piece of dirty carpet placed in the center of the living room over, what I must assume is the original, dirtier carpet. Although the booking advertised wireless internet, it did not work and calls to the property management did not yield results. Although we paid for spa heat, the hot tub did not work. We made repeated requests to the property management to fix but was never fixed.
All in all, this property provided a good place to crash after a day at the parks.

these unit have a freeze cut out and dont
work below 50 degrees ,the freeze in jan has lead to
the bulk of heaters not working or cutting out being re-set to cut again

The house was spacious and the setting was surprsingly very quiet and peaceful. The kids enjoyed having the ping pong and foosball tables, the big screen TV, as well as the pool! We had a nice relaxing family vacation and although we opted not to go to Disney, it was a very reasonable drive from the house. We have already recommend this rental to friend!

This property is very spacious and comfortable. The community pool and tiki bar are very good, although they only have beer and wine, it was great. Very near the grocery store and a very short trip to Disney. Sue and Colin are great to deal with. Hope to be back!!

We enjoyed very much staying at Winnie Retrieves at Esmerald Island Resort. I stayed there 23 days with Alicia, my wife, and 3 chilkdren, as well as Larry . Our holidays were unforgetable. We strongly recommend anybody to stay in this house. The owner was very nice with us. He took care of us and was always willing to help us. Everything was perfect. Be sure we will come back soon.

This was our first experience with on line booking for a villa. We were a bit nervous in the begining but when we arrived to our destination in Emerald island resort, our worries were quickly erased when we visited this beautiful home. This huge house had everything our families needed to enjoy holidays. We will never rent a hotel room again!! Well surely be back. Thanks to Colin for sorting out the second home for the last 3 days of our trip ,i know the time you spent working out logistics of 2 homes at holiday time was hard

Property was very nice and clean. The villa is centrally located and close to all attractions. Property management team was very pleasant to work with when we needed access to the pool, they were quick & attentative. I would definitely rent again & recoomend to friends & family. The garage games room was a bind ,having to leave car on drive & there is limited parking 3/4 cars, but this did not affect me, but it may be a concern for others vacationing together with more than on 4 vehicle.

Fantastic stay, we had a ball. We were a family of six adults and all of us were blown away by the villa. Location was great, villa was spotlessly clean, so comfortable and every want and need has been catered for. Many thanks to you and Sue for making the booking procedure so easy for us. I dont think we will stay in a hotel again in Orlando and will certainly recommend the villa to family and friends, but not too many as we want to be assured of being able to stay again and again.

It was a beautiful home. The owner was meticulous with regard to the appliances, entertainment devices and personal needs of the clientèle. The owner thought of things to have in the home that you would not normally find in a rental property and was so pleasant and understanding of our needs regarding the booking arrangements and arrival time. Location was great for all Disney attractions and for eating out. Villa was very clean and well big enough for 6 adults and 6 lively children.
The Emerald Island Resort was very clean and quiet. Unfortunately we didnt make it down to the clubhouse as we were to busy but there is a lovely nature trail, and a swing park just down from the villa.
Directions we were given from airport to villa werent great and it took us a while to find it.
Make sure you know the key code for the door key before you go as the one we had was out of date and we had to wait outside the villa for 40 minutes when we arrived late at night until someone came to let us in.
The downsides were minimal, and overcome quite easily, overall it is a great villa and I would use it again.

The layout of this house is perfect for any vacationing family. There is lots of room to spread out and enjoy yourselves. This well maintained house is situated in a beautiful community - close to all the parks, highways, etc. It was a pleasure dealing with the owners and management team. We had a wonderful experience here and would recommend it to all our friends. Looking forward to spending another vacation here.

We found that the carpets and walls were marked, and had a feeling that the house was well used!
The single beds were unconfortable, and one family had to purchase air mattresses to sleep on, and leave the beds empty. For the money spent on the house, comfortable beds were expected.
The dishes on the main dining table were chipped, and we did not feel would be very hygenic.
With the amount of bedding, we were surprised that only two loads of laundry were allowed to be left. The morning of departure, we had bedding and morning shower towels to wash befor getting on the road. There was no way of doing this ahead of time, and we were feeling funning about you assuming that we accutally washed the bedding, and not just folded it and put it away. We hoped the family before us, didn't take the easy route!
We are not a fussy family, and we will visit your resort again... we just found some areas for the house surprising.

House was beautiful & well kept ,just as last time our 2 month winter vacation was, nice quiet as we like it ,the neighborhood, friendly management staff & very pleasant helpful owners Sue goes that extra mile. Villa was situated on the best lakeside location I have stayed in. Good wildlife spotting oportunities (especially the 3 cranes following us to lake edge to watch the young gator!) Good amenities in villa, tv fantastic & pc came in useful for checking menus and opening times etc. Owner extemely helpful - late checkout made last day more bearable! Would definately recommend to others

This is truly a five star executive house, easily large enough for two families to share. The owners have equipped the house to an exceptionally high standard, with quality furnishings throughout. There was plenty for us all to enjoy, with TV/DVD's in all bedrooms (DVD's provided), table tennis and bar football in garage, massive TV in lounge, a PC and playstation in the study area, plus a superb heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. This was a holiday home that all the family were sad to leave

We had a wonderful time at Emerald Island Resort. The private pool in the backyard was wonderful as was the short trip to the parks. It was clean and well maintained. There were ten of us visiting, so it was a great place to stay for all of us!!

Villa was fantastic. Very high standard. We had a great time. Family enjoyed the luxury. Rare to find what was advertised was found to be reality....and some more..... Will certainly return to your villa if we come back to Orlando in the future

We thought that this villa would be nice from what we saw on the website but when we got there it was beautiful. Absolutely wonderful. We have not stopped talking about it. The pool was fantastic - especially first thing in the morning before breakfast and after the theme parks. The solar cover made sure the water was warm and relaxing. I can not wait to return and take my grand-daughter with me - we already have our Disney tickets. What a fantastic holiday

Although we had an enjoyable time and the villa was as described, I was diappointed that during the 11 days we stayed we couldn't get the spa heat to work. This is despite being charged a fee to heat the spa. The management Co came down 3 times to try and fix but couldn't get it right.
We were not given any financial accomodation to make up for this, this despite asking for from the owner.

We had a wonderful stay at the winnie's retreat on emerald island resort. The club house staff leave a lot to be desired,but that’s not your fault. Everything was clean and neat. We felt very welcomed when we walked in and saw the dining room table all set! The layout was perfect for our large family gathering. There were plenty of dishes, towels, blankets, sheets, pillows, etc. It was great having all the dvd’s (although we didn't watch any!) and all the games (which we did play with). My only criticism is the hot tub had no instructions. Anyway, we enjoyed your villa very much and would definitely recommend it to friends

This property couldn't have been more perfect for us. I traveled as a single mom..taking my 3 children and three of their friends with us..all teenagers. They have already asked if we can get the same house again next time. The owner has been incredible to work with. I have already passed the contact information onto several friends who were immediately interested in also renting when I showed them our vacation pics. I could not have been more satisfied with our choice."

It was excellent,we loved it!!The property was clean,and just as desribed on internet and definitely met our expectations. Emerald Island was faboulous.We would definitely like to go back.The staff at Emerald Island was very friendly, and very helpsom. One thing you could think about is to raise the aircondition temperature to at least 80 F, when it was set at 76 F it was to cold at times.This will also save som energy. Thank you for excellent service !!I really hope we will bee back !!

This was my third vacation in this home and it just gets better and better. The owners have completely redecorated and installed Plasma TV new games in the games room and now have free international telephone calls. A truely beautiful home and I would not think of going anywhere else

The house was excellent, nicely furnished, clean, well equipted and felt safe and comfortable. The location was great, quiet and convienent for disney, with a decent supermarket at Formosa Gardens about 2 min drive away. The club house is a computer hot spot for those who wish to bring their own laptops, and there is an internet cafe in Formosa Gardens for those who don't but who still need a little computer access. We had lots of space and enjoyed both the (southwest facing) splash pool and the on-site pool complex. The kids loved having a TV too. Rubbish was collected and the pool maintainence man came and cleaned the pool. There were always staff around the pool/gym/ complex and a security staff on duty. This house was perfect for us and we would definately return again."

The house itself was nice,spacious and well maintained.I personally found the area in which it was located dull and lacking character,although realise it was probably typical of certain resort areas. In general the local service was fine.The clubhouse staff left a lot to be desired,they asked if we were owners when we said just renters they seemed to have no interest.The information channel was not working. I would recommend it to a friend or family and look forward to rebooking in the future.

Was well worth the money and better then staying in hotel..... The spa temp could be little hotter.... They keep it at 100 degreees.. we went in march so we asked to raise it to 110 degrees for us and they did.....We plan to return in september for our next vacation.."

The house met all my expectation and then some!!! The house was very roomy and the kitchen is huge and the cupboards was fully stocked. The house was very clean and neat. It looks like a model home. All the kids are still talking about how fun the house was. It was so helpful that there is a dishwasher and washer and dryer. We saved probably a good $1,000 by staying at this house. I Will try to book it again this year. Hopefully, it will be available. It was easy to book and the owner, Sue is very friendly and called me back when I requested her to.

We stayed for a few days and found the Resort and house excellent. The accomodation is clean and fully equipped with TVs in all rooms and DVD in the living area. "The photographs on the web site do not do this property justice. It is a beautiful Villa, furnished to very high standards.It is ideal for larger parties,we had two families in our group so when you split the cost this property is tremendous value. I can,t recommend it highly enough.our stay in Florida has been wonderful. We've had some magical moments espec. Discovery Cove. Some days were very tiring so coming back to such a beautiful house helped us to relax straight away. Thank you for helping to make our trip more memorable."

"We stayed for a few days and found the Resort and house excellent. The accomodation is clean and fully equipped with TVs in all rooms and DVD in the living area. The resort pool was fantastic for our kids with theplay-park’s and tennis courts. Some days they wanted to go there instead of the theme parks. All in all a great place for a vacation and I would recommend Emerald Island resort to anyone, especially families,I would recommend the retreat villa’s to every one

"Was it good value for money? Absolutely, the price was lower than most villas in the same area. The cost was less per night Than Disney's most inexpensive hotel room where you get one room and a small bath. To get 6 bedrooms, huge master bath, private screened pool and a fully stocked kitchen for less money, It is quite a deal. Did it meet your expectations? Exceeded my expectations, there were many extras that made the stay much easier such as Computer access, there were paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags and dishwasher detergent, These were nice surprises not usually found in other villas. Was the description accurate? Yes, property was just as described. Would you recommend it to a friend? Already have recommended this property for a get together next June. Were you adequately looked after during your stay? Yes, however, we did not encounter any problems and had no need to contact anyone. Everything was fantastic about this villa, the location, size, pool and especially the pool table. The only downfall was when we arrived the pool heat was not switched on. Apart from that I will definitely stay at this villa again and recommend it to anyone.
