We were initially pleased with the appearance of the villa but found some areas we felt could have been maintained to a higher standard (balcony at rear was covered in bird dro ppings and the railings were heavily stained with bird waste so we did not think they were cleaned on a regular basis). Later in the week we came under siege from large numbers of ants which were entering through the gaps in the kitchen tiles by the sink. There was also a bad odour from the drains at the rear and the downstairs toilets were also quite smelly. The back patio was also peppered with bird dro ppings which we cleaned ourself. The free car included in the cost of the villa we had problems with and hired our own one in the end as we did not feel the free car on offer was roadworthy. Overall we did have a nice time in the Cypriot sunshine but were disappointed by the ants and the bird dro ppings. We also had to replace the batteries in the satelite remote in order to get it to work.
