Villa Tranquilla - A unique holiday experience

Our beautiful Spanish villa has been superbly converted into 4 attractive apartments. We live in one and the remainder are available for holiday rentals.
There is an 8 metre pool, relaxing half acre garden, tranquil "Viewing Area" Moroccan Terrace, table tennis, free on-street parking

The Fountain Apartment
The front door slides open into a light twin aspect room comprising a living / dining area and open plan kitchen. There are 2 x two seat sofas, dining table with four chairs, side tables, T.V. / VCR with UK & european satellite channels, radio / cassette / C.D & DVD player.
The kitchen includes oven, gas hob, extractor, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, juicer, toaster, kettle, coffee filter machine etc.
The main bedroom has double hanging and double shelved cupboards. There is direct access to the delightful Terrace with working Spanish fountain. There is a foot spa and hairdryer. The twin beds are designed so that they can be joined via the legs and matress zip to form a proper double bed.
There is a shower / W.C. / bidet / wash basin en suite. Bedroom 2 has the same type of beds and a double cupboard. There is a door to the Terrace as well. Across the hall is the second shower room with cubicle, W.C. and wash basin. Both bedrooms have a wall mirror with consul and seat.
Linen & towels (pool and bath) are changed weekly when the flat is serviced.

Estepona and Around
Estepona is a very underrated town, hence the large Spanish population and comparitively few foreigners. Its the way the spanish like it!
There are still few or no tour operators offering Estepona Town as a vacation spot and we are both pleased and totally baffled.
It is a lovely old town and fishing Port(founded 500 years ago) There are charming old cobbled streets and delightful local shops and plazas. There are a huge variety of cafes, restaurants, ventas etc in the area. Estepona has a very safe feel about it with little crime.
From the bus station, you can travel to Gibraltar; Marbella & Casares.
Try it once and you'll want to come back.

Once you have experienced Villa Tranquilla, we feel sure that you will want to re-book and/or tell friends about the unique holiday experience that you have just enjoyed. We are an English family who purchased an enormous beautiful Spanish villa and transformed it into 4 beautiful apartments. We live in one and ensure the smooth running of the other villapartments. Whilst we are there to assist in any way we can, we try to be as unobtrusive as possible. For your safety, each apartment has a smoke detector(s), fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide detector/alarm. We feel sure that you will enjoy the Port and Town of Estepona. Northern Spaniards holiday here as they classify it still as a Spanish seaside resort, unlike for example Fuengirola, Torremolinas, Benidorm or Marbella where most British tourists end up on a cheap package deal. Come and try out Estepona. You may even like it!!

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Hi Lynne, Glad that the apartment met your approval, although it wasn't spotlessly clean, we do try and keep on top of it. Our journey was fine and although it is good to be back home nothing beats lazy days at Villa Tranquilla. Thanks once again for making our stay so great. We really do love staying with you and hope to come again next year. Jude has asked for Anna several times and can't quite grasp the concept that she is in a different country!! To a 2 1/2 year old next year is such a long time off. Thought you might like to see Jude and Evie enjoying the paddling pool. Thanks for buying another one. It gave us a few moments of adult time!! Thank you so much for your hospitality it was a lovely holiday enjoyed by all. Our journey was fine, just that we had not realised that the clocks in Spain had also gone back an hour so we got to the airport quite early but that was fine we made it in the end. Once again thank you, you have a lovely villa and the apartment was beautiful. We are in conversation with Craig’s parents for perhaps booking again for next year. We will be in touch.

Dear Neville and Lynne

The journey home was ony 40 minutes delayed but we were in our own beds by 2.00 am (UK time). No lager louts all very respectable. Although the sun is shining and the temp is in the 70s we have got the heating on!

Thanks for providing us with such lovely accommodation you really are the extra mile and it was also good to be able to chat and have the benefit of your local knowledge. We loved the holiday and it was just the sort of break Judi needs.

Attached are a few snaps I will be working on the others over the next few weeks. I was rather taken with your pot of chrysanthumums which I thought was very Goya so I have played with it a bit.

It was also nice meeting you and hopefully you will see us again.

I will be in touch with Neville shortly and Judi will send the pictures to Lynne.

You beat us to it. I was just sending a message to my friend in Australia and it was your turn next!

We had such a great time in Estepona and loved the apartment and your wonderful villa. We too enjoyed meeting you both and thanks very much for the tour and drink. It was nice having a good natter and finding out how your business started in Spain. We will certainly recommend your accommodation to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing break in the sun.

We were at the Shell garage filling up when the hail storm started. The other end of Estepona was perfectly dry and sunny when we drove through to the airport. The flight home was a bit bumpy due to a strong head wind, but we made it back to a freezing cold UK.

Dear Neville, Lynne and Anna,

Sorry for the disappearing act this morning, but the kids were up at 5am and
so we were ready early and took full advantage of getting a head start on
the traffic etc. We didn't wish to disturb you, in case you were still in
your P-J's!!

We would like to just say how pleased we are that we booked with you and
that we enjoyed every aspect and moment at the villa. Your hospitality was
second to none and this was furthered by the availability of a loving on
site baby-sitter, who the kids fell in love with. It gave us the much needed
opportunity to go out as adults and spoil ourselves with fine food and wine
with no worries of the kids.

It would appear that Judes exuberance in the paddling pool may have gone a
bit far as we noticed a slight tear in the base by the slide, where the
fabric has caught on the patio. I hope that this can be repaired fairly
easily, as Jude would love to be able to use it next time.

Both Sam and I will have no hesitation in recommending your Villa to friends
and family and wish you all the best with your venture.

Thanks for your e-mail this morning, sounds as if Villa Tranquilla is
keeping up to it's name, very quiet. I will try and sort out dates for late
September/October over the next couple of days.
If you can keep the Parasols that are broken I will repair them later this
year and I will bring my piny to do the cleaning.
