We are an English family who purchased an enormous beautiful Spanish villa and transformed it into 4 beautiful apartments. We live in one and ensure the smooth running of the other villapartments. Whilst we are there to assist in any way we can, we try to be as unobtrusive as possible. For your safety, each apartment has a smoke detector(s), fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide detector/alarm. We feel sure that you will enjoy the Port and Town of Estepona. Northern Spaniards holiday here as they classify it still as a Spanish seaside resort, unlike for example Fuengirola, Torremolinas, Benidorm or Marbella where most British tourists end up on a cheap package deal. Come and try out Estepona. You may even like it!!

One fantastic property, two great hostsLeft on 03/14/2012 for a stay in March 2012 This was our first trip to Costa del Sol and we chose Villa Tranquilla due to the description and photos and because of its central location. The Pool apt. exceeded our expectations for size, comfort, and, yes, location. The Villa is aptly named its quiet, secluded, and beautiful. The property is a showpiece for Mediterrean gardens. We could have stayed there all week and had an amazingly wonderful relaxing time. However, during our week, we visited several white villages, spent a day in Gibraltar and another in Tangier, and one leisurely day in Esteponas port and old town. After a long day of driving and sightseeing, it was a treat to come "home" to our spacious Pool apt., a terrific bed, and a well-stocked frig.I cant say enough about the gracious, knowledgeable, and always helpful Neville. He provided detailed, accurate directions when we needed them, and supplied us with a plethora of information about everything from a hike from village to village in the mountains to an impressive list of Dvds for our use on a rainy day (which we never encountered). His tips on restaurants, transportation and sites not-to-miss were all spot on. Neville rocks!Mare & Bri - Eagle, Idaho.

Great relaxing family holiday Left on 04/16/2012 for a stay in April 2012 We have just returned from a fantastic week in this wonderful villa We were very impressed with the standard of accommodation - spacious and attractively decorated. The gardens are beautiful, with a great view of the sea. Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Neville and Lynne made a real effort to make us feel welcome, suggesting places to see and lending us Dvds to watch In the evenings. We look forward to returning soon! Incredible! Left on 04/30/2012 for a stay in April 2012 Everything about this villa was outstanding. Neville and Lynne will go out of their way to help you to enjoy your trip and simplify things for you. Dont be afraid to ask for help they enjoy making their guests vacation the best. The view is spectacular from every direction. They have patios with outdoor private tables and chairs, barbeques, heated pool, and a small hilltop with a seating area that is unlike any. Their gardens are just as manicured as each Villa apartment. Everything you will need in the apartment is there for you in perfect order. There is even a 3" binder "typed" filled with tourist suggestions and videos available. We were delighted to have a "starter" supply waiting for us with coffee, filters, milk, and juice. These owners really go the extra mile to make your stay in Estepona wonderful. As for Estepona, I would go back in a heartbeat with fine restaurants, craft markets, winding streets, beaches, and a fishing village filled with boats. Nevilles recommendations for restaurants were outstanding. Pick this one and you wont go wrong. Robin Olmeda - Florida

Superb. The quality of the initial development is excellent combined with a methodical and ongoing maintenance and upgrading results is a quality of apartment second to none. The additional touches / options offered /available further enhance the property and offer a complete stress free package. I would have no hesitation in staying again or even recommending the villa to friends ( which I already have) - hope you can find space for me again !. Once again many thanks. On this note I leave you to carry on the watering of the plants, cleaning the pool etc. while I work away at my desk. Cheers Graeme Crawford

Don't you sleep either?
Booked the flights to Seville and already confirmed.
Will forward sterling cheque as requested and will try to get the long list of numbers correct.
We have already talked up the benefits of staying at VT with a few friends so we hope that you will have so many bookings that you will be paying us to stay.
I have been told off by Toni for downloading the pictures from my camera and wiping the memory, she took the memory card into work today to find it empty, apparently I'm just too efficient!
Will not now see Toni until Thurs or Friday night! when we will make the 9/10 night decision.
Look forward to seeing you all in June, but also the revisit to Punta Sur. It is possible that this may not have been the best steak I/we have ever had but pretty damn close.
You don't appear to have a guest book for the apartment or we would have written something complimentary for others to read, perhaps the best recommendation is that we are re-booking within a day of coming home!
I told a colleague today that the only "fault" was that the Tea Towels were new so they needed washing as they did not dry as well as an old towel. They told me I was terribly fussy and that I would probably have complained if the towels had been old!
We were collected from the airport by Toni's Dad who asked "did you have a good time" we all replied in unison that the accommodation was fantastic!
We also said that we could have booked cheaper but that the "extra mile" was worth it. (need to keep Neville's cost/benefit ratio the right side so that he doesn't push the prices up).

hi, thanks for a great time,glad to hear the weather has improved ! . We both agreed you have done wonders with the villa and its a credit to you ,we both speak very highly of that time to our friends and your leaflets are already on the notice boards at work..
just for Lynne ....>> look away Neville we spoke re holidays etc that afternoon I can recommend a couple of companies and brochures itc classics and elegant resorts...both very good and have web sites..I stayed in the spice island in Granada ..also in Vietnam at the anamandara ( think that how it is spelt !) both highly recommended..>
Anyway thanks again for our stay we enjoyed ourselves and the rest and break was exactly what the doctor ordered

Apologies for not responding sooner I just came back from a holiday in Normandy. I stopped by mum and dad this past weekend and it sounds as though they had a w0nderful time at Villa Tranquilla. They took some film of your mouth wateringly lovely apartment that we will be staying in in August...makes me want to book the next plane to Malaga! Now I'm really looking forward to it and so are the girls. Mum and Dad's telephone number is: +44 1428 648607.

I wanted to ask you when we stay in August will there be any chance of booking a babysitter for 1 or 2 nights during our stay? This is to take care of Claire (14) and Cassie (6) while we go out for a late night. Let me know when you can.

We want to come back ... post holiday blues have well and truly set in !! Its cold, grey and miserable and we've even had to put the central heating back on !!

Journey home was good, no delay's although flight was a little bumpy coming into Newcastle, due to those hoolies you mentioned !
Once again thank you so much for everything, we had a brilliant time and we've been telling everyone who will listen to us how fab the villa is and how nice and friendly we found Estapona. We'll definitely be back.

Oh well better go and show some enthusiasm and attempt to get on with some work (would much rather be lying around the pool !)

It was a rough ride for us but not your fault. If I think it advisable and without problem I would like to visit again and do the things I would like to have done. I hope you will have us and provide the bottle of Cava you owe me - you would have to guarantee better weather.

I will recommend my friends Peter & Marie Conyers - hes a golfing pal - likes good food etc. Peter has no requirements for computers so hes not on email. Suggest you write - 10 Kirby Drive, Cottingham, East Yorkshire, HU16 4DL.

When we came back, it was cold and on sunday there was rain en wind. We would like to come back immediately, but there is school and work.

Hi Lynne and Neville,

We can hardly believe that we have been home for two weeks already - time does fly when you get caught up in day-to-day things! We want to thank you for making our first trip to Spain so worthwhile - we will definitely return! Your villa is stunning and the garden made us feel all nostalgic, as it is so similar to ours in Cape Town. The climates are obviously conducive to growing the same sort of plants. We think that you have done a great job in furnishing the appartments and the "small touches" are the things that made all the difference. It was also great to have you on hand when we needed to pick your brains about something or other (like Tapas Bars)!

Our trip back was very eventful - the secure parking company at Heathrow (Purple Parking) had made an error regarding our return date, as a result of which our car wasn't on site when we got back. We landed at 9.30pm, but only ended up leaving Heathrow after midnight, once our car had been retrieved. We got to bed after 3.00am, so nobody went to school or work the next day - that, of course, caused the eyebrows to be raised at Boots!

Cameron and Courtney are well and working towards their summer school holidays and our two week trip to Wales. Cameron has just received his school report which was very good, so fingers crossed for Courtney's! Ed is in France at the moment watching the racing at Le Mans. It was 31 degrees here today, so we all hid inside!

Hope you are both well. Give our regards to Anna - hope Bambi and Thumper are well, also.

Dear Lynne

Today has been a real drag at work - I kept looking (blearily) at my watch and thinking what I was doing that time yesterday or the day before! Everyone said this morning that they thought I looked really well, realxed and tanned, so obviously VT did its work!

As you can probably tell, I've been raving about VT to everyone today at work, have to take the brochures in tomorrow, whilst others have already printed sheets off the website!

Thank you all once again for making our stay so enjoyable and just exactly what we wanted (well, apart from one thing, but we won't mention that again!)

I appreciate your comments about the PT and how we left it; wouldn't have left it any other way though.

It was lovely to hear off you. Steve and I are back to the hard slog and missing villa tranquilla !!! We had a wonderful time and looking forward to June, as soon as we can we will book our flights I think 3 months before is about right with easyjet.
