This villa was everything and more than we expected. Everywhere was beautifully clean and tidy. The villa was more like a show home than a holiday home. Just what you need when your there for a relaxing time. The earthquake and the lightening storms were great entertainment. The 5 minute transfer to and from the airport was a bonus, though I would recommend hiring a car through Glyn as you really need one to get to the shops and restaurants. The neighbours were helpful and friendly.

Well what can i say that has not already been written. This villa is the best we have stayed in and everything you may need is available. The villa manager Hasan is fantastic and any thing you may need he will assist in arranging including fantastic boat trips. The pool is the big wow factor and the garden is kept in great shape by the pool and maintainence fellow Ramazan who speaks good english and is a mind of local information. The other plus factor is that the villa is only a very short distance from airport which is great after the flight. The owners arranged for us to get car hire and Ahmet organised the same met us at the airport and dro pped us off after the holiday and cheaper than any other quote we could get. All in all a fantastic holiday and ideal base to explore the local areas. We noticed that the villa gets booked very quickly and we are already looking at next year.

Just returned from spending 7 nights at paradise villa and had a fantastic time. The villa is beautifull and has everthing you need.It is really nice and peacefull with great views.Hassan the manager was very helpfull indeed and nothing was too much trouble. A car is essential as no shops within walking distance. We have 2 children 13 and 10 and only booked 7 nights as we thought they may be bored with any longer but with so many places to visit in the car we could have stayed longer. Would love to return in a few years time. The Smith Family Doncaster

This was a real surprise and a great one at that. The villa was superb and had everything you could possibly want and more. The gardens were delightful and the pool a great way to cool off. Turkey was beautiful and Dalaman a great base in which to explore the surrounding area or simply laze by the pool. The outside terraces were enormous and plenty of shade was available. We had the best family holiday and absolutely loved the boat trips. Food a real success for all - spoilt for choice. The property manager was great and organised the boat trip for us. The children loved that. Even though the villa was minutes from the airport it was not under the flight path so no intrusion at all. Great air con which ensured a good nights sleep with 30 degree heat outside. No mosquitoes.

My families first time in Turkey what can i say this has been the best holiday I have had ever. I dont think i will spending anymore holidays in hotels. The paradise villa was beautiful and a home away from home with the added bonus of hot weather and sunshine. We had everything we needed in this villa. The swimming pool lovely garden and privacy of the place was outstanding and well maintained.A mobile phone was on hand with contact numbers for any information you required or in an emergency which I did have in the first 24 hours of arriving when my granddaughter became ill.I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hassan (villa manager) who came to are aid and Rod Harrison an english friend of Hassan without there help I dont no what I would have done so a massive thank-you especially from baby Lexi. The care, concern and quickness of diagnosing her illness by the Turkish doctors I could not fault I could even go as far as saying its better than back home. The only downside was we did not book long enough(1 week) to see as much as we wanted to so I would definetly make it two weeks next year as we are hoping to return. I just want to finish by saying Glyn and Jo-ann your villa is beautiful and I could not have asked for anything better of a holiday and thank-you for having us for all your communication before and after are holiday I just hope we can return next year. This was a lovely property with everything you could want in terms of equipment etc. Tastefully decorated and with lots of nice extras like DVDs, books, games etc. The pool was fabulous and ideal for games, though potentially overlooked by next doors balcony but in the event there was hardly anyone there. A great touch was leaving a mobile phone to make local calls for taxis, restaurants or to the local villa manager. We went as two couples and there was a major imbalance between the size and facilities of the master bedroom, with balcony and spacious main bathroom compared with the second bedroom which although it had an en suite shower/toilet, felt very much the poor relation. Probably much better for a couple with older kids. We only used the third bedroom for suitcase storage but it didn’t have any clothes storage and would only have done for young kids, certainly not a third couple. The location was in a developing area but having the petrol station so close was handy and it wasn’t far from Dalaman itself and easy to get to other places. We had a great time overall, thanks

Just back from a fantastic holiday. We have always done all inclusive but not again. The villa had everything you could possibly need and was very well located for the airport and Dalaman town (but you really do need a car). Marian and Terry were extremely helpful and always available if there was a problem or if you needed help or wanted to book a taxi or restaurant. At the same time you were left alone to enjoy your holiday. The swimming pool was lovely and essential on the extremely hot days in August. We were so impressed we have already booked to go back next year.

Owner reply:
Thanks Kim for your kind comments and we are really happy that you have booked again.

Just back from an amazing two weeks in Paradise!!!. Our first taste of Turkey lived up to all our expectations and much more besides. The villa was beautiful, the pool was an absolute must and we were never far from it. The people were really friendly, the service was 5 star and the food delicious. What more can we say apart from that we cannot wait till we can return next year. If you need a hire car we can thoroughly recommend Maxim, a local firm, booked with the help of the wonderful Marian & Terry, whose help and advice was invaluable. They keep the villa immaculate, so a big THANKYOU to them from Carole,Andy, Jackie & Steve.

Nothing was too much trouble and we have learnt so much of the traditions and cultures of Turkey from them. A really lovely villa and a real home from home. The situation is perfect - really quiet and peaceful and yet all the tourist attractions are accessible by car. We have had a really great weeks holiday and will definately be returning to Turkey! We are all very disappointed that Paradise Villa is already booked up for next Summer as we would love to come back here next year. Marion and Terry are really lovely and so helpful. A big thankyou to both of them for organising the hire car, the boat trip (an excellent day out) and our taxis back to the airport.

Owner reply:
Thanks for your kind comments and hope to see you again. Dont forget to book early to avoid disapointment.

Having just returned from a week at Paradise Villa can only say it is pure paradise - the pictures do not do it justice. It it much larger than expected and definitely exceeded all our expectations. The extra touches make it feel like home from home. Was always a pleasure to return after a day out visiting to relax in the lovely large pool. You definitely need a car but saying that it was nice to drive to other towns and everywhere is within an hour or so drive. Turkish people are very friendly and there are lots of restaurants which serve lovely meals at very reasonable prices. Marion is very helpful and will give you lots of good advice on where to eat, visit etc - even gets things fixed in villa when they go wrong - thanks again for all your help! Hope to return one day!

What can I say other than this villa is the epitome of perfection ! We loved everything about it including the location. Anything that went wrong was instantly seen to via Marion who is a lovely, lovely person and couldnt do enough for us. We showed the villa to another couple we met whilst there and they immediately booked it for next year....unfortunately for us as we wanted it at the same time again. We will return however , no question about it. The pool is fantastic and well maintained, gardens beautiful and well maintained too. Inside is beautiful and full of the little things that matter. It actually felt like home and was treated as such.

Owner reply:

You do need a car unless you want to walk or take taxis. We hired and getting around was easy, mostly very good roads & the drivers are no more crazy than anywhere else (try Italy). The places, sights, scenery, people & eating out were brilliant. As for the villa, from arrival to departure, the dread of leaving this fantastic villa, its decor, ammenities, quiet location, gardens, pool, outside seating & barbecue areas, ..... I wont go on. When you go out for the day, you look forward to going back even more. Gino cooked the barbecue & his wife Pinar joined us for the evening. They also took us out for a typical Turkish breakfast. It was a lovely place and very laid back. The Turkish people love kids. We had our 4 year old twin grand-daughters & youd have thought they were made of gold the way they were treated. Amazingly friendly. The clealiness of the whole area was great. Some of the places we visited & would definitely return: Sarsala, Sarigerme, Dalyan with Iztutzu beach, Ekicik & lake Goykogiz,Oludeniz,Saklikent Gorge and Gocek (lovely, not overpriced & you can still see how the millionaires live!). Thanks to Marion for some additional local tourist & eating advice & to Ahmet as the pool & gardens are beautifully maintained. Take the boat trip from Sarsala, arranged by Gino. Mustapha, Omar & the guys were brilliant. All in, a fantastic holiday that stands out from most others weve been on!!!!

The villa is beautiful and is superbly equipped with everything you need to make your visit comfortable. We couldnt have asked for more helpful contacts when we arrived and anything we needed was immediately sought eg sky tv was not working when we arrived but someone came very quickly to sort it out. There is a wonderful outside area for cooking and dining in very hot weather with finishing touches such as the ice cold water machine. We would certainly recommend this particular property to anyone as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We hope to return sometime to this lovely area and to Paradise Villa.

Paradise Villa was just that Paradise we had a fantastic time. The Villa would suit families and couples alike as it is very quiet and safe. The pool area was lovely and the whole place was spotless. The Villa was very central to the centre of Dalaman and also it was very handy to most of the towns around such as Gocek with its lovely restaurants, also Dalyan which is just a lovely place to be the restaurants and boat trips fantistic. We went as far as Kalkan about an hours drive and also Marmaris just over an hours drive as well. The big bonus is the Villa is only 10 minutes from the airport so after a long flight this is very welcome. We just fell in love with Turkey and will definitly be returning next year.

Just spent 2 weeks at this fabulous villa. The photos of this villa do not do it justice. Everything was alot bigger than expected, the rooms, the pool, the gardens were all huge. The villa itself was immaculate and was decorated to a very high standard. As mentioned in recent reviews the garden and pool area was kept perfect by Ahmet who my 5 year old son loved helping. Gino, the villa manager, was excellent at helping us find our way around and telling us where to go to explore this fabulous country. My son again loved Gino and his wife Pinar (who got a kiss in the end) who both had all time in the world for him. I recommend the boat trip arranged by Gino, to all the different islands. My eldest son, 12, particulary enjoyed jumping of the top of this boat into the sea. The weather was picture perfect, did not see a cloud in the sky for 2 weeks and the air conditioning in the villa was a godsend. The area did have some building work going on the distance, but this is an up and coming area so its to be expected. It did not get in the way of a fabulous holiday in this appropriately named paradise villa. I also recommended visiting Oludeniz and fetiye where we had a gold bracelet, designed by my son, custom made for his 13th birthday which we celebrated here. This is an excellent villa to stay in and is a good base, with a car, to reach the other places in Turkey. Also Smileys, a local restaurant, Smiley is excellent with the kids and definately gets the party started. Thank you Glynne and Jo-anne for letting us stay in your luxurious villa. Tina, Marty, Fran, Kenny, Connor and Riley.

Just spent couple of days at this villa, total relaxation every thing you need is there. TV DVD etc. air con in every room. pool was kept imaculate cleaned every day, nice garden area. Hired a car which the owners Glyn and Jo-ann arranged and was delivered to the villa, we exlored the sights around the area Dalyan Gocek and even went upto Marmaris for the day. Good location for getting around from. Gino there villa manger was great source of information and cooks a great steak up at the Burc resturant which has its own pool and is only 5 min walk from the villa on the main road. The locals are always happy to help. For a real taste of Turkey the way it should be then we reccomend you stay at Paradise villa and explore what it has to offer.

Paradise Villa certainly lives up to its name. A beautiful oasis, situated unfortunatley in a most unattractive area. Although we loved the villa, garden and pool, we would not return, due to the location. Dalaman is not a holiday town! Also we found noise from overhead airplanes during the night, quite disturbing. Visitors need a car in order to visit the beautiful areas all about thirty minutes from the villa. Would certainly recommend to families, extremely good value and exceedingly comfortable beds!

Owner reply:
We are sorry to hear that you did not find the area attractive, most of our renters have posted positive comments about the area and how friendly and welcoming the locals are. As with lots of holiday resorts you will find some building works going on in the locations around the area.

Dalaman town is not an out and out holiday resort you are right, but is a normal typical turkish town, no body hasseling you to shop, which you would get if you were in Marmaris etc. We normally find that people are just pleased to see you and will offer you a drink just to be friendly whilst looking at there goods no hard sell etc.

We have never had a complaint regarding plane noise from any of the renters who have stayed in our home, yes there is some but we find it very limited as the planes normally take off towards the sea at night so do not pass the villa.

We always reccomend car hire to make full use of the local attractions that are within easy reach of this central location.

Thanks for the recomendation for families and the positive comments regarding the villa itself.

Great villa and ideal for using as a holiday base to explore all the great places that are within easy driving distence, Car hire is a must to make the best use of the villa and its location. The villa itself is fantastic and has all the things that you could need including a great selection of DVD's for those relaxing unwinding nights after a BBQ and a swim, what more could you want for. The villa manager Gino was very helpful and arranged a great boat trip for us all. The local people are very friendly and the main town is only a 5 min drive away and has every thing that you may need. There are several resturants within easy driving distence and Gino recomended several to us which we made use of, saves on the washing up, although loading the dishwasher isent that hard. The pool and jaquzzi are great and are maintained every day by Ahmet (likes his coffe black with plenty of sugar) All in all a great viila in a lovely local area where you can get a real feel for turkish life, would return again. Thanks to the owners who were very helful.

Thanks for your review, All our renters seems to enjoy the friendly welcome that they get from the locals, and we feel that this adds to the real feeling of being in Turkey. What a lovely villa , when you walk through the gates you are in your own bit of paradise. The villa is in excellent condition and looks just like a show home. All the comforts you would expect and i would rate it as 5 stars. The locals are great and only to happy to help. We hired a car and explored the local sights which are not to be missed. The villa manager "Gino and his wife Pinar" visited us and nothing was to much trouble from ordering water to fresh fish delivered to the door. We had a great holiday and would book this excellent villa again when we visit Turkey next. The owners Glyn and Jo-ann are very helpful and always answered our reams of e-mails. Thanks again for letting us stay in your lovley villa "A true pieace of Paradise"

Owner reply:
Thanks for your positive comments and we are happy that you enjoyed your stay.

Although there is some scrubland in the area around the villa (which looks as though it will be developed in the future), once through the villa gate the property more than met our expectations. The villa is great, with large, airy rooms and plenty of storage space. Air conditioners are in each room and work well to keep the property cool whatever the temperature outside. As well as the dining are in the villa there is a large covered verandah area with table and chairs and a separate barbecue and dining area as well, so there is a choice of three different areas to eat. The garden is kept green and neat, with shrubs and flowers. The pool is a great plus point and is regularly maintained and cleaned. It is just the right depth for swimming with some gentle steps for smaller children and a separate but linked jacuzzi of a shallower depth. It is ideal for our spread of ages from baby through to older teenager. Our children discovered that the wall of the jacuzzi makes a wonderful jumping in point for the main pool! All around the pool is a paved area with parasols, sunloungers and a swinging seat which we made good use of. The owners of the villa are really helpful, and nothing is too much trouble for the local manager, Gino, who will do his best to make your stay as trouble free as possible, help arrange trips out for you and solve any other problems you might have. Regular short lived power cuts are frustrating but will hopefully be resolved in the future. Although the villa is quite close to the airport we did not find aircraft noise intrusive and the children quite enjoyed watching the aircraft coming in. Dalaman itself has all the local facilities you might need, from internet cafe to supermarket to banks etc and the petrol station within easy walking distance has a small shop and good, very reasonably priced restaurant attached. The mountain and coastal scenery is amazing and there is a choice of lovely beaches within easy reach. The Dalyan River trip is a must and if you enjoy sightseeing there is a huge choice of Lycian and Roman remains to visit, from Kaunos (within 1/2 hour's journey) down to Xanthos and Patara (1 1/2 hours) and beyond if you are feeling more adventurous. We found the local people are always welcoming and helpful and we had a really enjoyable fortnight's holiday.

Owner reply:
Thanks for you review, It is good to know that you enjoyed your stay at our villa.

We are pleased that you mention how quite the aircraft noise is and that it did not bother you or your children, we find that the location is perfect for quick transfer from the airport which is a great help when you have children and following a couple of hours flight and time spent at UK airport befor departure.

We will pass on your kind comments regarding Gino he will be pleased.

We also reccomend the Lycian and Roman remains to visit. As well as the Boat trips and Mud Baths.

Thanks

The villa is beautiful the photos do not do it justice. Fully air conditioned in every room helped as temperatures got up to 44 deg C in the shade. The pool is large and very well maintained and equipt. An excellent place for relaxation. During our stay we hired a car for 4 days which enabled us to see more of Turkey. The Villa location is central for many holiday resorts 15-30min. Dalaman village is 3min drive and a very nice beach 5min drive from where you can have an all day cruise arround the islands for £10 including dinner. Overall a very nice villa in an area where the locals are very friendly. I would recommend it.

"I am not one to bother with reviews, but I felt this property really deserved my time. It’s surely one of the best in the entire area, possibly Dalaman – and we have stayed at a few! The Villa is in a residential part of Dalaman and the transfer time from the airport is minimal meaning that you can be beside the pool having a cool beer within 10 minutes of leaving the airport, the location means that you are within easy travaling distence of all the touristic areas 10 to 30 minutes (by car or taxi) The property itself exceeded our expectations with absolutely everything you could possibly need Fully fitted kitchen Sat TV, DVD, Fantatsic BBQ area, gardens, swimming pool, and Jaquzzi . A car is recommended, but not necessarily a “must” as the nearby facilities are quite easy to get to using local Taxi's or Dolmus (Bus). Gino the villa manager is a very helpful guy and we can see why the owners have chosen him. Nothing is to much trouble, arranging Taxi's Boat trips, and ensuring anything that you need is arranged. We for one just wanted a lazy relaxing holiday and Paradise Villa offered us just what we needed. Highly recommendable." Will definetley re-book . A++++++

A perfect location to either relax, or use as a base for exploring. The villa and pool were of ample size for our family (3) and the villa was well equipped and surpassed our needs. We were afforded complete privacy during our stay but were aware that the property manager "Geno" was only a telephone call away in the event that we needed advice or help. "Geno" turned out to be a great help and made us feel very welcome especially when visiting Smileys bar at the side of Opet, good simple food served with a smile from the owner, information, maps and suggestions provided by the owners before we arrived proved very useful - particularly taking our grandson with us, the he enjoyed the ATV riding and still hasn’t shut up about it. The villa is ideal for families (4 Adults & 2 Children or 2 Adults and 4 Children). The resort and the area are very Turkish. Do not expect burger bars and be prepared to use your phrase book to translate menus (although quite a lot are in English) - for us this was all part of the fun. The owners recommended car hire to get about and see all the sights; this is a wise choice, although the Dolmus did look like an adventure in its self. Will certainly return to Paradise Villa, and thank you to the owners Glyn and Jo-ann you were very helpful during the booking stages answering all our questions.

Owner reply:

Having not been to Turkey before we had heard good and bad reviews, but we went with an open mind. We chose this villa because of the locality to the airport and with having two young children we didn’t relish the thought of a long transfer after a 4hour flight, We arrived at Dalaman airport which we were told has only just opened, its a nice new terminal with lots of marble and looks very impressive, you have to pay a £10 entry fee which allows you to visit for 3 months and also allows multiple visits within the 3 month period, the queue was dealt with very quickly then we went through passport control, as you collect your baggage there is a duty free shop available before you exit the airport which is a good idea saves struggling off the plane with bottles of your favourite tipple. We opted to get a taxi from the airport and gave the instructions that we were given by the owners to the taxi driver, within 10 minutes we were at our holiday villa and the cost for 4 of us 13 Lira (about £5). We were met by the owner’s representative a fellow who introduced himself as Geno (this guy turned out to be a great help and we can see why the owners recommend this guy). Once inside the villa we were impressed with the size and layout everything was immaculate, the terrace looked wonderful and the views of the mountains were stunning. The fully walled garden is very helpful when you have 2 toddlers and we felt safe to allow them into the garden to play. The Villa itself is lovely and has all the creature comforts of home, including a good selection of DVD's, We took the advise of the owners and hired a car which was delivered to the doorstep by Ahmet from AS car hire ( recommended from owners) £22 per day 4 door with air con and unlimited mileage and insurance, we explored all the local sights with advise and help from Geno who can be found up at Smileys place most nights " this guy is a born entertainer " Smileys is next door to the Opet at the top of the road about 5 min walk away and serves some quick and easy food as well as a good meeting place for other people staying in the area . We visited Salsara Bay the drive up the mountain and pine trees was wonderful you pass through a village and the sights are truly amazing, as you approach the bay the view is truly breathtaking, the beach area wasn’t overcrowded and there is a little cafe bar serving food and drink. All in all a great day out relaxing by the sea and a trip we made a couple of times during our stay. We also visited Sarigerme Beach another Jewel this beach has blue flag status and you can see why. There are also shops in Sarigerme which sell an array of original fakes really good value for money and you couldn’t tell the difference with some of the cloths on display, the shopkeepers also like to haggle and we spent 15 mins in one shop with free drinks haggling over £2 pounds we probably drank more but it was fun and the shopkeepers are very friendly. We also noticed 2 discos in the town and had we not been with the kids would have visited. We visited Gocek which is easy to get to, there is a new tunnel which you pay about 50p to use and within 15 mins from the villa you are in the lovely marina town which has waterfront restaurants all around. Dalaman itself is a growing town and there are plenty of good shops that sell everything you might need or want to take back with you, there are some good places to eat and very cheap, The local market is great the local produce is fantastically cheap you could get all your fruit and veg for the week for about £10. Although we found the language a little difficult we picked up a few words which was great the people are really friendly and genuinely pleased to see you they love children and will entertain them were ever you go. All in all a great holiday we explored all the local and not so local sights went on boat trips, haggled in the shops , enjoyed good food and good company made some new friends and had a really good time. The owners have a lovely villa which is immaculate and we have been informed that they are having a private swimming pool and Jacuzzi built for April 2007 indeed on the day we left Geno came round to check everything had gone OK and to arrange for the car to go back , he even gave us a lift to the airport “ Now that’s service for you” he also informed us that the owners had instructed the pool company to begin that week, We will defiantly book again next year, the pool will add another touch of luxury to this fantastic villa a truly wonderful experience of Turkey that we would recommend to anyone John 34, Anne 31, Beth 6, Thomas 4, September 2006
