The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views. If you are driving there is a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

First the good: this property is in a great location near great restaurants, the beach and nightlife. It has free parking and a decent kitchen. The not so good: the air conditioner leaks (we put a pot on the shelf and had to empty it daily), we arrived to no towels or toilet paper (so come prepared!), there is no dryer so you have to hang clothes on the veranda to dry and the beds (twins) are not very comfortable. Not sure about the high-season but in the off-season you will likely do better for less money.

The air conditioners have been sorted, apparently the drains were blocked, and have had the units recharged and serviced.
There is no excuse for the towels as this is included so I have appointed a new agent to manage the unit.

This apartment is on the main road in Praia da Rocha, which was fantastic to watch the people go by while relaxing on the balcony, and the view is even better than the photos! Jorge was fantastic with all the questions we had while booking and Filipe the hotel manager was very helpful when we arrived. We rented a car and there is secure parking available, but if you dont, make sure you book a taxi/shared minibus to bring and return you to the airport - check out the faro airport website. this is cheaper than getting a taxi when you arrive. Apartment was fantastic, location great, pics do not do it enough justice. Care taken to make us welcome, and many unexpected extras, for example, umbrella for beach, bat and balls for kids. clothes horse and pegs and DVD player. Very clean and tidy when we arrived - all we could have wished for. Thankyou very much.
