We stayed in the Penthouse with 2 Families of 8. The rooms are spacious and there is an awesome see view balkony. As in our first stay, Matt and Elli were excellent hosts, making sure nothing was missing for a perfect vacation. We enjoyed the hotel facilities, Bon Island and the happy hour at the infinity pool. This time we went fro dinner quite often outside the resort. It is very easy to take the hotel shuttle to the resort entrance. We enjoyed particularly the Nobus restaunrant just a 10 min walk from there. Food an value is excellent and the lady owner even took us all back in her car while there was a rain shower.

Our group of 5 loved this villa. The place was perfect. We were greeted by Eli (the property manager) whom is one of the nicest people i have yet to meet. She was so helpful throughtout our stay. The villa was spotless. The villa is huge..we all had so much room. The grounds of the resort are 5 star. I have traveled the world & this was one of my favorite places i have yet to stay. Overall a fantastic location & a beauitful villa! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Mat and Eli was excellent. Their care for the customer and attending to our need far exceeded all our expectation. All of us, family of 6, enjoyed staying at the condo, age ranging from 15 to 75! As I was about to leave and depart for Bangkok, I was already considering next planned vacation here. Here are list of things that we enjoyed:
1. Mat and his staff - always on-time, attentive, and most importantly, so friendly
2. Elis cooking - she cooked amazing Thai food, not to mention her BBQ skil!
3. Evason property - full access to tennis court, gym with PowerPlate!, and three different pools
4. Bon Island - this place is just amazing. Its own by Evason so its as private as it can get.
5. Penthouse amenities - Mat did an amazing job of decorating this place with all high tech toys - 92" high-def project, HD programming through True Vision with over 200 channels, 100+ DVD moves, high speed internet... All included in the price.
6. Fantastic ocean view - Every morning, we were greeted with amazing sunrise right from the living room sofa.
I cant wait to return back!
Mat and Eli... Thanks for everything! You guys are awesome.

Our family of 6 stayed in the Penthouse for 18 wonderful days before/during the Christmas 2010. I must say I miss those days every day. The condo is nice and well equipped (loved the cinema system, PS2, washing machine...) and the views are out of this world. Resort has got nice pool areas, Laem Ka beach next to the hotel is really quiet, enjoyed the cheap massage there. Bon Island with complimentary boat rides are worth visiting, hire a day sala in advance and relax! But check the tide table as you are not allowed to snorkel or swim during the low tide.
Restaurants in the resort are quite expensive as you can expect of any 5*hotel, but you can find quite nice and cheaper restaurants outside the hotel area. You can walk there or take a taxi.
Hosts Mat and Eli are the best, they did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Special thanks for the football match (go FC Phuket go!), the Christmas tree, birthday cake etc.
It was our second vacation in Andaman Cove and I cant wait for the third one.

The most wonderful place in a lovely setting with all the added benefits of the Everson resorts facilities. We couldnt recommend this place enough: it was huge, 4 bedrooms, all mod cons, giant cinema system, views of Phi Phi and other spectacular islands. We are a family of 4 and each one of us had a great time in the penthouse. Just wish we had more time there. Next time it will be for a minimum of 2 weeks. Mat and Ellie just couldnt do enough for us

The penthouse is an excellent option for people seeking a self-catering option but still with access to top-notch resort facilities. The location must be one of the best in Phuket, the views are simply stupendous and the condo itself is well-equipped and comfortable. The hosts Mat and Eli are warm and welcoming and were great in assisting us during our stay. The resort facilities at the Evason are good, with the unique selling point being the free access to Bon Island, a great place to relax, snorkel and generally enjoy what must be one of the cleanest and prettiest beaches in Thailand. The prices in the resort are comparable to what you pay in Singapore, the prices at the beachside bars and restaurants outside are cheaper, if you can be bothered hiring a taxi and going exploring. On the possibly negative side, there are a lot of steps up to the penthouse (those views dont come for free), however, this wasnt a problem for my 83-year-old parents and shouldnt be a problem for anybody with a modicum of fitness. Overall, I highly recommend this place, best Ive ever stayed at in Phuket.

This property/resort is all it is said to be and then some! The added perks that come with the units - like grocery shopping, chef, driver to use at request, etc. were all very positive things for our family of 5 and made our week there wonderful! If we needed any ideas of what to do or other help the owners were always at the other end of the phone and within very little time, all would be arranged and ready for us to enjoy! Great people to work with! Cant wait to go back again!

Great position and views, it suited our family of 6 perfectly and the "big screen" kept the younger members very happy. All questions and requests were promptly dealt with by Matt and Eli. The hotel enviroment meant good pools and an excellent gym but the restaurants were expensive compared to those locally.

We had a fantastic stay in the Penthouse.
Bon Island was fantastic, so much better if you are seeking calm and relaxation than the busy beaches like Kata and Patong.
The restaurants on the resort was excellent.

Excellent value for money. A truly enjoyable retreat, excellent service and fantastic facilities.
Matt and his team provided a high-level of service and local insight. We could not have wished for more.
The stairs will help you work off the vast amounts of food, make sure you enjoy one of their BBQs!
Planning to come back soon.

‘We had the best possible family reunio n at the Penthouse - a true sanctuary, if ever there was one!
Breakfast prepared by Eli and P Git was the perfect start to each day - but so delicious we all went home a few pounds heavier!
Next time well make sure to have more BBQs. The one we had was the perfect showcase for your property and the spectacular Phuket Vista.
Cheers and see you soon!

What an absolute gem, this penthouse condo!! It is rented out by Mat (UK) and Eli (Thailand) and is part of the Evason Resort. We went with 4 adults & 3 children aged 3, 6 and 10 and everyone had a fabulous time. The penthouse is extremely well-appointed. The main floor has 3 large bedrooms with gorgeous furniture and romantic mosquito nets and a spacious and nicely furnished living area. The living area includes a very impressive entertainment system that we found useful with the kids at times and for those odd evenings when we weren’t out enjoying the restaurants. An attic with another bed and TV + Sony Play Station is reached via a spiral staircase from the living area. Mat and Eli have provided a plentiful selection of DVDs and games for the Playstation if you haven’t brought your own and a good variety of books, mostly in English but a fair selection of Finnish as well. There are 2 bathrooms (one with bath, one with rain shower – water pressure not brilliant but manageable) and the well-appointed kitchen is part of the living area. All the appliances you could wish for are there: dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, cooker, kettle, fridge/freezer + one extra minibar fridge in the bar area (yes there is a bar as well!). The condo was cleaned every day with clean towels daily and clean sheets halfway through the week. There are 3 terraces to this southeast facing condo, all with sweeping views of the Andaman Sea, as you laze on chairs, sunbeds and even a few hammocks. Bliss!!
We didn’t get to meet Mat as he was traveling but the e-mail communication was ever so friendly, helpful, fast & efficient. We even got a very thoughtful phone call from Hon Kong checking that everything was in order. Eli was an absolute star, came to see us every day to check that everything was in order. She cooked us a fabulous Thai meal at a more than decent price and helped us out with groceries and the like at very reasonable prices. Taxis, hints & tips, you name it and Eli provided. It was such a lovely way to spend a holiday, feeling well looked after and not having to spend our precious time on banalities like getting water supplies.
The resort is lovely & tropical and has a feel of understated class and calm to it. Many a swimming pool can be found: infinity (adults only), garden pool, family pool, and two small pools at the entrance to the condos. No real beach except a pulbic small one to the right of the longboats to the island. There is a kids club as well, free of charge for over 4’s (but they are happy to take under-4’s when, as in our case, a responsible older sibling is present). Some good restaurants, we absolutely loved the Thai and the buffets were excellent as well, both breakfast and dinner. There is also a seafood buffet and a Mediterranean restaurant, as well as a restaurant by the family pool which serves snacky type things, all very yummy.
The resort staff are all helpful & friendly and most of them speak reasonable English.
The best thing about the Evason is undoubtedly their private beach on Bon Island. There is a regular longboat service to the island and it really is a little taste of paradise. It has plenty of sun loungers in the shade or sun, beautiful showers & toilets (semi-outdoors with gorgeous smelling incense & soap) a lovely little restaurant and you can sail, surf, canoe etc to your heart’s content.
Be aware though that there are some steps to negotiate – 102 from the restaurant area to the condos. We actually found it really helpful for counterbalancing the fabulous food and it didn’t bother us one bit (my parents who were with us are in their mid-sixties and had no problems).

We spent 4 days in this lovely spacious apartment and wished it had been longer. Eli was extremely helpful and went out of her way to help (she gave us local sim card to use when the landline went down).
Lots of dining opportunities both at the resort (pricey) and at the nearby beach (delicious and v reasonable)plus of course the fully equipped kitchen. Loved the resort's family pool and Bon Island beach.
I would return and do recommend to others however it's perhaps not the ideal location for very young children (less than 2yrs) as there are many steps both to access and inside the apartment. Also perhaps worth noting that the baby crib cannot be moved out of the master suite.

Our family of 5 stayed for 13 nights and very much enjoyed the Penthouse, Evason Resort and Bon Island facilities. Yes the resort has lots of stairs, but it was good exercise to help counteract the excesses of holiday living. Our three children (8, 8, 10) loved the Kids room, Playstation & (husband) big screen projector. Numerous friends were staying at another resort but we had no regrets in choosing to go it alone and stay in the Penthouse. Mat & Eli were friendly and helpful and provided a very good service if you actually want or need anything. Eli cooked and looked after the kids for us a couple of times while we went out for the evening. All in all a truly memorable holiday and we hope to return in the not too distant future!

Stayed here twice in 2006 and 2007 the place is incredible, views from the penthouse are out of this world. There is acres of space in either the penthouse or the elysian condos and the facilities are everything we needed and lots more. Bon Island was where we spent a fair amount of time on the beach and trying to windsurf which was great fun. We also did a bit of travel ling round to see Phuket. Ate in the local restaurants v cheaply and treated ourselves on a couple of occasions to the food in the Evasons restaurant which was worth every penny. The owner/manager (Matt) couldnt do enough for us and gave us good advice about local facilities. All in all we'll be back just as soon as we can get enough time off.

The description of the apartment does not mention that there are several stairs to reach the apartment - this apartment would be less than ideal for people who have difficulty with stairs or who need pram or wheelchair access.
Owner reply:
Please note it does state on the website information that the Penthouse is not suitable for elderly or for wheel chair access and did so at the time of this booking. Point is accepted re pram though this was not questioned on submission and was considered covered by the wheelchair aspect.
We would like to thank the guest for highlighting this however and there favourable 5 star review.

We were 3 families from the US, Hong Kong and Singapore and we rented 2 of Matt's apartments. The apartments were in excellent condition (exceeded our expectations and description on website) and Matt and Eli were wonderful hosts, looking after all our needs (from laundry, breaksfast to tips for local thai food). The seaview from the penthouse unit was excellent, with 3 balconies/rooftop for hours of "sea gazing".The kids loved the loft (and playstation!).The kitchen was a great plus as there were nights we wanted to dine in. We had access to all the hotel's facilities and loved the garden pool ( and the spa). All of us had a wonderful time and we will definately be back.

We had a wonderful time in Phuket . We
loved staying the Andaman Cove condos and enjoyed both our time in the condo and the entire resort. We used all the pools, the spa, the separate island with beach - and we had fun trying out all the restaurants. it was a great holiday and Mat and Eli were terrific hosts. They went out of their way to help us find tours and other activities and generally made sure we had everything we could possibly want. I highly recommend them.
