We booked this property for my wife and me in August 2010 and it was excellent then. This year we booked it for my wifes parents as we needed a 2 bed apartment ourselves (5 going in total) and I must say that it was even better. The apartment has been spruced up to a lovely standard and James couldn`t do enough for my wifes elderly parents, even down to changing a lightbulb and bringing a new kettle. This was my in laws first taste of self catering in Barbados and they couldn`t speak highly enough of this place. We would thoroughly reccomend this apartment to anyone who wants a chilled holiday in Barbados. It is also so central to everything and the pool is to die for. Thanks again James for everything....... those little touches were so appreciated. Will definately be back at 611 when it is just my wife and me .

Location close to shops, beach and amenities. Excellent for golfers. Very spacious apartment. Very good bed and air-conditioning. We like its good wi-fi connection.
We showed it to a Canadian couple who were thinking of renting it next year. They identified one drawback: there are not any bars neither on front door nor across French doors which could be a security issue especially as it is a ground floor apartment. There was a break-in at Lemon Arbour while we were staying at Rockley - the thief entered through the kitchen window that did not have bars...

This was our third time staying at 611 Bushy Park, Rockley. Our best yet. So relaxing and such a beautiful location. The unit is nicely taken car of. We really like having a coffee out by the pool in the morning. Krista loves the kitchen its a full kitchen and we had home-made Christmas dinner. For the first time we didnt rent a car. Instead we took local buses at $2 Bajan everywhere, or a cab on occasion. The visit to Crane beach and hotel was wonderful and horse-racing at the race track was a blast. But we lost a little money this year. The sea at nearby Rockley beach, to which we walked regularly, was a little rougher than we have seen it in the past but always enjoyable. One of the best beaches in the Caribbean. And Mr. Impacts singing at Bobs BBQ every Sunday was great as was an evening at St. Lawrence Gap - which is a little longer walk to the southeast along the main road. Still havent golfed although the place is on the 4th hole! Maybe next year. See you again in 11 months, 611.

Great proximity to the beach, stores, restaurants. The Bushy Park compound was very clean and comfortable. James and Sarah are great hosts.

Clean, comfortable accommodation. Well equipped just a little short as far as crockery is concerned (only 2 cups). Internet access is a bonus. Will definitely book.again

The apartment was spacious and very clean. It was set on a peaceful, lovely part of the Golf Course. It is much nicer and roomier than the resort accommodations one can get for the same price. My child loved the location and had the time of his life.

611 was awesome. It had a fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, glasses, cutlery, etc...) The welcome basket we received was perfect. It was exactly what we needed after a long flight so that we didnt have to go shopping right away. The beds were comfortable and the decor was lovely. Ruth our housekeeper was so friendly and nice and she kept everything spotless. The landscaping and pool were absolutely perfect. I would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you so much for a fabulous place to hangout in.

The description of the property was very accurate. It was a very quiet place. We enjoyed the landscape and even saw a family of monkeys and beautiful birds. We were directly in front of the pool. Having washers and dryers were very convienent. That was a lovely gift basket full of goodies...Thanks! We walked 10 minutes to the beach. It was very easy to access a taxi to get to the Clubs at St. Lawrence Gap and buses to get to anywhere. James was an excellent host showing us around the area. Ruth, who cleaned up was soooo sweet and very helpful. We had a ball. Eveyday was packed with activity. Cant wait to return.

Can't wait to come back. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We Loved the idea of each cluster having their own pool.
Our Maid Ruth was wonderful, very friendly and did a fantastic job cleaning our room.
It was the ideal location, we were within walking distance to everything, beaches, restaurants, stores, ect.
The worst part of the vacation was coming back to home to snow.

The apartment was well worth the money spent! We were pleasantly surprised to see how clean and well decorated the apartment was. The backyard was perfect..what a great view of the golf course, yet private at the same time. One of the couples who had rented another unit had commented that the next time he booked his accommodation in Barbados, he would ask for our specific unit. Our maid service was friendly and was very helpful in letting us know what to visit while in Barbados. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would be more than happy to return.

This little pad we called home for a week was right on the button. Hit the spot. Its far enough away from the local road but close enough so you hear those beautiful taxi horns . As you enter off the road past the tennis courts your greeted with a magic, then you turn into the drive way and you are given an exillerating rush, walk past the beautifully kept pool. and into that amazing and refreshing place you will call home! Now we were drunk 80 % of the time, well i was, haha, but i enjoyed it, so much that i am in the process of trying to find a flight. This place is great.
James i believe his name was , was such a great guy, he leaves you his phone number and others for emergency of just to call and check up. The water pressure in the shower is GREAT!. towels and everything at your need. Perfect bedroom and the balcony is fantastic. wave to thwe golfers as they pass.!
this is no 5 star. this is a 10 + .

James was extremely welcoming, and attentive, and I found the apartment to be spacious, well furnished and maintained.
Its location is ideal - far enough away from the hustle and bustle of St Lawrence Gap and other bars and restaurants for a peaceful stay, but close enough to walk to the beach and the nightlife (all of the local beaches are stunning).
The grounds are beautiful and the resort a lovely place to stay.
I would happily stay again, and would recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to stay on the south coast.
The only thing I missed was a hairdryer, but that was my own fault, for not checking that one would be there !!

The apartment is ideally located for the restaurants and nightlife of the south coast. You can manage without a car as taxis are very reasonable and frequent, but we did rent our own transport as hire costs are excellent. The pool is located close to the apartment and well maintained. I would suggest that air conditioning is fitted to the living room and not just the bedroom area, as with the summer heat the ceiling fan in that area may be insufficient for some people.
