When we arrived at the villa we were not dissapointed, it looked even better than the photos.
The bedrooms were large and we didnt even have to fight for them. lol
There was 11 in our group age ranging from 3 - 63 and the villa suited us all.
The pool was never out of use, it was a godsend in the overwhelming heat (our coolest day read at 38, our hottest 46)
The indoor sky tv came in very usefull for getting the children out of the sun.
Everything you could possibly need is in the villa.
Glen was very helpfull before traveling and also while we were there, nothing was too much trouble.
Would certainly recomend the villa to friends and family.

Where do we start, what a fantastic villa had everything one or two familys would ever need.We arrived at the gate and the villa had the wow factor,on entering the property the grounds were well kept and as my wife and I explored the large spacious villa the kids were straight into the pool where they spent most of the holls. The pool bar with the fridge and bbq was great as we bbq every night. The local village had everything you would need butcher, baker, wee supermarket and wed was market day a must for fresh fruit ect.planning back next year !!!!
A huge thanks to Glenn (the owner) the pre planning phone calls were great with all the extra info, and also John the neighbour was very helpfull with extra info and the lend of the map and the phrase book which we forgot our own.Overall a fantastic holl and we are looking forward to going back. Ths was an excellent 5 bedroom villa hoiday with swimming pool. very spacious and luxurious build. We were all pleased with the accomodation . The villa is situated in rural Spain and local prices were suprisingly cheaper than expected . It is a definite advantage being able to speak Spanish. We had excellent weather ( 33 deg C) and mainly stayed at the villa. There were none of the usual holiday attractions and would recommend this type of holiday for people who are comfortable with there own entertainment. Car higher is a must to travel from airport and shops. I think the only negative would be if you had bad weather as there are really no local amusements.Local contact was very helpful .

This Villa lives upto expectations. It is very well equiped to cater for all your needs. The Pool and the size of the plot was a huge success. All day swimming and plenty of land to explore and play games for the children. Contact with the owner on the build up to the holiday was 1st class as was the welcome pack upon arrival. There is no Jacuzzi at the moment, there appears to be a long standing problem with it. Campos Del Rio, is a very small town, we found the supermarket caled DIA more than adequate for our 11 day stay. We visited Murcia City, well worth a visit, the Catherdral and the nearby Plaza St.Domingo pleasing on the eye and restaurants abound. Punta Negra, Playa Ventre near Portman is a must. Crystal clear warm waters, vast array of colourful inquistive fish to enjoy. Take your snorkle and mask.. The little cafe / bar there is pleasantly run by the locals. Bolnuevo - We found the beach a little to shingly for our children, but 10 minutes away to the east in Bahia is a lovely beach, with little waves and plenty of restaurants. Loa Alcazares was very touristy, but worth a day out the experience the unusual Mar Menor environment. All these coastal locations are a good 50-60 minutes drive. Overall - Highly recommended.

Well where do I start. When we arrived at the villa it was around 9 at night. We couldnt believe the size of the place, was it all ours? We ran from room to room opening the shutters shouting to each other look at this, the bathroom is massive, or the room is gorgeous or look at the views. The pictures on the internet just do not do it justice. It is an awesome place, secure, family orientated spectacular. The swimming pool was well appreciated for the temperatures that reached 41 degrees on one day. The sangria is a must for those hot days. If you head to a beach go for the punto negro beach, it has black sand clear water that is so warm and the fish actually do swim round your feet. The market that is held on a wednesday is a must. Highly recommend this villa its in beautiful surroundings will be visiting again. The Giles Family from Somerton Somerset.

We cannot thank Glenn enough for allowing us to stay in his beautiful villa and for all of his help. The villa is just perfect and it was just the most relaxing holiday, even with 4 young children! It had everything we needed and was decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The local people, even though a lack of English is spoken where very friendly and helpful. Can recommend the butchers in Dia in Campos excellent steaks for the bbq and the butcher himself is a character. The only downside is there is nothing within walking distance but lots to see and do in a short car journey. The pool table, table football and swimming pool was a big hit and kept my lot busy while I chilled, Perfect is one word that was used many times on our visit and we hope to return again very soon. Thanks Glenn.

We had booked a long weekend away without the children for us and 2 other couples. The villa is very well equipped with everything you would need and it is lovely to look at, the gardens and terraces are spacious and it's a lovely place to stay. The one thing i would say is that it is very remote but if you have a car it shouldn't make any difference to your holiday.

I booked this villa to spend a few days in the sun with some friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. I was looking for something that would accomodate 5 couples comfortably and with at least a bit of luxury. The write up seemed to fit the bill and the reality was even better. From the moment we arrived to a guided tour from Glenn we were not just overwhelmed by the quality but also by the fact that it had everything - the little things you usually have to pack or buy at the supermarket - there was a stock of food, beer and wine, beach towels as well as normal ones, even a disposable camera to use. The pool bar was invaluable and serves as a great focal point when everyone is around the pool. The icemaker was a massive hit and there were games to play not forgetting the pool and football tables and a jacuzzi.
The interaction with the owner Glenn before and during our visit was excellent - he couldn't do enough to ensure we had a good time. We would all definitely return - this is a wonderful villa in a very peaceful location and comes highly recommended by 10 very satisfied customers.

When we arrived we were expecting a nice villa. When we walked through the door we realised this was an exceptional villa. The rooms were exceptionally furnished, the facilities were excellent, the views outstanding and the owner was really helpful. The villa far exceeded our expectations and we were thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Be warned, the villa is in rural spain, and you will need a car to get around (if you can drag yourself away from the villa and pool!!) Great holiday would highly recommend and will definately be returning.

Beautiful, get away from it all location. Close to rural village with friendly locals. Ideal for a family holiday, or relaxation break. Car needed.
Must try the local butchers in the supermarket, great steaks for barbecue. Needs satellite TV which we understand is being sorted at the moment. The villa would greatly benefit from Mosquito screens on all windows.Facilities fantastic. Have told friends and family about the place and I know we will be back in the future.
Owner reply:
satellite TV now on line

Perfect for a relaxing, away from it all holiday. Villa was spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly need, including a welcome pack on arrival. It also has fantastic views across the local countryside and a very helpful and friendly owner. Peace and quiet in a beautiful setting. Excellent value for money.

having stayed in a number of wonderful properties in the states, and been wowed by the standard, we were so pleased to have booked casa millie-mai.
the villa was very roomy, a great "hide and seek "house!!! it was immaculately clean and furnished in a very modern contempory style.
everything you need was there, and the "finishing touches", for example, pizza in the fridge and wine and beer for the first night, made it even more relaxing from the minute you walked through the gates.
we have 3 sons, aged 13, 8, and 10 years.
the swimming pool, pool table and football table kept them entertained the whole week. we barbequed most nlghts, and watched the sun set over the mountains...perfect!!!
I wanted to book a special family holiday for my husband's 40th birthday. what a good choice we made. my boys said it "was the best holiday since florida....wow" to impress my teenage son takes some doing, but this hit the spot!!!!!
the interaction with the villa owner was superb also, nothing was too much troble.
if you are looking ,as a family, for the most "chilled out" holiday, in the best accomadation, book casa millie-mai.
we have recommended it already, and will continue to do so.
just hope they do not want to book when we do!!!!!!!
