Friendly atmosphere from Christina and Mike made us very relaxed and comfortable. Enjoyed cycling around the quiet lanes in warm sunshine. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Gite. It was a great location for travelling to the coast and exploring the inland towns and facilities that the region has to offer. The owners of the Gite, Christina and Mike, were excellent hosts and make our time that much more memorable. Thoroughly recommend Logis de Tertre to anyone thinking of visiting the area

Very friendly but not intrusive hosts. Great swimming pool. Good space for children to play with slide and swing. Gite was clean, well kept and a good size. We would definitely visit again.

Our hosts, Christina and Mike were very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive, in Logis de Tertre-le Trisant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have two boys (13 and 11) and they were fully accomodated for with the swimming pool and converted table tennis room and various board games made available during our stay. Our gite was perfect in every sense: spotlessly clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The gite is situated in a fantastic position enabling visits to many beautiful places. I have no doubt in recommending either gite (two on site). Our hosts were on hand when we needed them yet kept a distance to allow us to soak up the peace and tranquillity. Book early - you will not be disappointed.

We found the property heated and lit, a welcoming homely sight after our long drive and as we drew up the friendly owners Mike and Chris warmly greeted us. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in “Logis de Tertre”. A small, basic but very comfortable accommodation. The whole of the downstairs is a spacious kitchen/diner/lounge area with all mod cons. Upstairs there are two bedrooms rooms of equal size, one twin the other a double and a bathroom with shower. More than enough for the three of us. The house was originally a stable serving the main farmhouse next door, now lived in my Mike and Chris. Bare stone walls and simple French furnishings completed the authentic atmosphere we as a family always look for. An outdoor swimming pool and games room containing a table tennis table were to hand but weather restrictions in late October limited my pool time to about 30 seconds, resulting in some very amusing consequences.

Superb accommodation; all of the fixtures and fittings where of a superior quality. Everything was beautifully clean upon arrival. There was even complementary wine and bread upon our arrival. A wonderful holiday experience.

Property was in excellent order throughout and we were very well looked after. Area is a little off the beaten track but great for a 'get-away-from-it-all holiday'. Lots of places to visit fairly nearby or just chill by the pool.

The area is quite lovely - a mixture of seaside,countryside,history and gastronomy that is hard to beat. Enjoyed La Rochelle. La Trisant is a wonderful place to spend a family holiday. We have just returned from a two week stay and we really didn't want to leave. The location is perfect, close to many pretty french towns, beautiful scenery, excellent for cycling, yet only 30mins from La Rochelle and Rochefort. Cognac is also within reach.
The gite is well equipped, very nicely decorated and immaculatley clean. There is a lovely pool which is shared with the adjoining gite, and a large field for playing boules, badminton and other outdoor games. In addition, there is a barn which has a table tennis table and is well stocked with board games.
The owners Mike and Chris are extremely helpful, have good knowledge of the local area and made us feel very welcome. I would definately recommend the gite as a place to spend a relaxing laid back holiday.
