We have just got back from a fantastic week at the Farmhouse. The apartment was very comfortable and had useful extras such as towels and toiletries. The location was perfect for exploring all that Slovenia had to offer and a week was not long enough. The owners, Ralph and Jo, could not have been more welcoming or helpful during our stay. We look forward to a return visit.

We were more than satisfied with our apartment. It is in a very quiet location but within walking distance of Bled. Ralph and Jo, the owners, live on site and couldnt have been more helpful with any requests we made. The views are superb, the train and bus services are excellent and on time and the countryside is on your doorstep. Idyllic.

We are a family of 6 with 2 young children and stayed for a wonderful week in the Farmhouse. Its excellent placement allowed us to visit quite a lot of Slovenia, as well as enjoy the closest surroundings, which we considered the loveliest parts of the country. The house is well equiped and furnished, the only problem was with the laundry. There was no washing machine for independent use by the guests, instead we had to bother the owners. Jo was very kind, but this way of doing it is not agreeing with the fantastic comfort offered by everything else in the house. We will certainly recommend the Farmhouse to our friends and we hope to be back again!

The appartment was furnished to a high specification, very well presented and clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, even without a car, there was a good local bus service minutes from the appartment to the local beauty spots/shops. The swimming pool area was cleaned daily. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing or an outdoor activity holiday in a beautiful location. We are looking forward to revisiting Slovenia in the not too distant future. Thankyou Ralph & Jo for your hospitality.

The apartment was clean, had everything that 6 of us needed - including a welcome pack for the first evening/breakfast. The photos of the property, if anything, downplayed the views from windows and balcony - which were stunning.
The driveway to the property is challenging, but adds to the charm, and the village itself has two good eating places and an excellently-stocked shop for essentials and a helpful post office.
We dont usually go to anywhere twice on holidays, but will probably return here in another season of the year, when it would also be less expensive.

lovely village just 5 min outside of bled. awesome landscape around with lots of possibilities, like hiking, visiting lake bled, lake bohinj or the soca river. better than a stay in the touristy bled. small supermarket and two restaurants nearby.
the apartment (#3) offers everything you’ll need for a good holiday: fully equipped kitchen, whirlpool, swimming pool, plenty of helpful information like maps and hiking books. everything is absolutely clean and nearly unused. enjoy the fabulous view from the living room!
the owners are extremely friendly and helpful in every situation!
just try it, I’ll go there again definitely!

Very helpful hosts. Super convenient location for Bled and Vogel skiing.
Short steep drive up to property which may be a bit scary for nervous drivers and passengers especially in icy weather.

This apartment is a great place for four to six people to stay. Its newly remodeled and in great condition there is a lot of privacy. The village is picturesque and convenient to both Lake Bled and Lake Bohijn. The kitchen and dining area are comfortable and well-equipped, and the living room upstairs provides a great gathering place. The owners have thought of everything the visitor might need, so this apartment made for a great place to stay and visit Slovenia and the mountains.

The property was in a lovely location with wonderful views and everything was as described. The only slight niggle was that there was no washing machine in the apartment (though there was a dishwasher).

Lovely property and very good location for the area. Lots to do around, but also a nice place to spend the day,or to come back to for a swim or an evening star gazing in the hot tub. Also very helpful owners. Country and village beautiful.

Amazing apartments, brilliant facilities and fabulous views. We had an amazing stay in Slovenia, the villiage was very peaceful and friendly and the owners of the farmhouse were so helpful and accomadating, helping us out with taxis, food etc. (Also, they had an awesome hot tub!!!) The town of Bled is a 35 minute walk or a 10 minute drive away so pretty close to one of the most beatiful places weve ever visited. A perfect holiday, we cant recommend it enough!!

A great property with beautiful views over the valley. Very friendly and efficient service from the owner and caretaker.
The jacuzzi is a great way to end the day and the walks in and around Bohinjska Bela are beautiful.
The local people are very warm and genuine. It was a perfect family holiday.

Clean, good quality furniture and fixtures, tasteful decor and bed linen. Plenty of cooking utensils although oven/grill would have been very useful. Fridge too small for 4 people. Welcome pack disappointing, bread not fresh, processed cheese and salami, UHT milk etc..not as anticipated.
Outside area was not as described, jacuzzi not operational or screened off and area at rear of property clearly work in progress (Borut explained how situation would be improved for 2009) ..also useful to advise future clients not to venture further up grass verge and into neighbouring back garden (occupant less than impressed with our presence)
Due to tight luggage restrictions most guests would rely on the regular provision of fresh towels and given that there are no laundry facilities the towels need to changed more often.
Overall the holiday was extremely enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing..loads to do..Push the range of family activities in Bled, Bohinj etc..more.
The prospect of a Wellness centre does not, in our opinion add to the ambience but a utility room with washing/drying facilities and or/ games area with table tennis table/ badminton would.
Great location..Borut v helpful will come back again and again.

Always good to have feedback so many thanks for that. Im very sorry the welcome pack wasnt up to scratch. Weve made some changes and hope youll be more impressed next time. Apologies also for the jacuzzi issues, were wrking on getting that sorted out.
Laundry is an issue other guest have mentioned to us as well, understandably as luggage restrictions get tighter and tighter. There will be a washer/ drier in the wellness centre when its completed. Interesting to hear youre unenthusiastic about the wellness, the games area is a really good one. Table tennis, might be tricky but a badminton set, swingball (or whatever they call it these days) and so on would be easy so well get that sorted out asap.

We were advised just before the holiday that buiding work was behind schedule.
In fairness we had a discussion with the owners and came to a satisfactory arrangement
Bearing in mind that the work did cause some disruption and we could not utilise the facilities to the full, we neverthelss enjoyed our holiday very much.
If the building work had not been an isuue we would definitely have uprated our the above scores.
All in all a thorougly enjoyable holiday.

Had the most amazing time at the Farmhouse in February. I was completely blown away. A fantastic holiday home. Will be going back in the Summer, and I almost never do that.

The Farmhouse is in an ideal location, half way between two beautiful lakes (Lake Bled and Bohinj). The joining instructions and e mail dialogue with the owner before the holiday was always very quick and detailed. We arrived and were delighted with the size, quality and cleanliness of the apartment. The apartment contained everything we needed, including lots of usefull information on days out in the area. The local host, Borrut, was always on hand and was very efficient and knowledgeable and was very likeable, like all the Slovenian people we met. We spent a number of days up in the ski resort of Vogel, just 15-20 minutes away, which was beautiful and was complete with lots of excellent restaurants. We spent a number of other days going around the beautiful alpine scenery in Slovenia, Italy and Austria. we would absolutely recommend this accomodation to any prospective customers.

Beautiful modern flat in rural village setting, views of mountains all around. The caretaker very helpful, friendly and accessible. My only complaint is that I didn't have more time to spend there to enjoy the views from the balcony, or to have a barbeque in the garden.

The property was newly renovated and very well equipped. The views from the top floor apartment were incredible. It was located in a quiet village but conveniently close to Lake Bled. Excellent value for money.

We were delighted with this property and the location, as it is very close to Lake Bled. The apartment is sufficiently spacious for a family of four and has everything you need to be comfortable. The view from the balcony is wonderful to enjoy in the evenings. Having a welcome pack was definitely a bonus, as we had arrived late in the evening and it meant that we had all the essentials we needed. The village is delightful and we'd recommend finding the wooden ladder up the cliffs. We rarely return to the same place on holiday, but we aim to return to Bohinjska Bela in the future, as this region has so much to offer. We'd recommend the canyoning in particular.

We are very satisfied with the information received from Richard. It helped us for planing the trip.
The apartment was very clean and confortable (the best bed where I have ever slept) with excellent views across de valley. Only a little poor in cook pots.
The access to the house would be better if it was totally paved with asphalt. We have had some problems with the car.
Borud and her wife were really hospitable and frindly.
