From the beginning of the process right through to the end everything was perfect. Communications with the owners were prompt and reliable. John was a perfect contact point in Calis and nothing was too much trouble - ranging from reparing a limescale encrusted connection on the shower to the provision of food stuffs for our late arrival.
The villa is perfect for a large group with plenty of space for sun worshippers and shade seekers alike. The kitchen has everything that you need with some welcome extras like the juicer and the cold water dispenser.
The pool is also great - essential for those hot summer days to cool off and receive some respite from the Turkish sun. The end of July weather ranged from 33 degrees to 44 degrees.
A decent 20 minutes walk into Calis Beach area with its promenades of gift shops - all alike in what they offer so haggle over the displayed prices. Tours can be booked at a number of outlets though we found Cancadian Tours the most reasonable for price and extremely reliable and helpful. If you get the chance do go to Dalyan Mud Baths. All very reasonable priced. For £17 you can have a whole day out - transfers included - visiting a gold centre, Dalyan Mud Baths and the Turtle Beach. The roads in Turkey still leave much to be desired but they are making significant improvements.
As for restaurants - we found that the more local places were better value for money rather than the ones along the sea front. Cheap, nutricious and service excellent. You may get a bit fed up with Efes beer after a while!
All in all a fantastic holiday. Would love to return.

Superb villa! Exceeded our expectations. Easily sleeps eight adults and is incredibly spacious. The owners Michelle and Nigel had furnished the villa beautifully and the added extras provided of reading books, DVDs and information about eating out and the local area were gratefully appreciated, (and pegs!!)
We were pleasantly surprised that the pool was larger than we had anticipated, comfy sunbeds and umbrellas if needed, kids loved it! The terrace area provided ample cover from the midday sun and many a night was spent eating and drinking around the table,
The villa was situated in a quiet, private area surrounded by banana trees, the gardener/poolman maintained the grounds impeccably and never intruded on our time at the villa. About a 20 minute stroll from the town centre. (you can also access the local bus/taxi if you didt fancy the walk)
The local supermarkets will deliver your shopping if you ask free of charge and like us if you wanted to eat at the villa during the evenings occassionaly and wanted to do a big shop, you could easily make your way to one of the larger supermarkets and catch a cheap taxi home.
One of the bonuses was Nigels parents live in Callis, His dad John was super helpful and its reassuring to have a contact locally if needed.
Never hired a villa before, cant see us going back to the package holiday deal or self catering apartments.
We would definaltey recommend the resort and the villa to friends and family and would not hesitate to re-book wiith the owners.
100% recommended from the Macdonald family. Ages range from 44 to 13.

This was our 3rd year renting in Turkey. The villa was very nice with a good pool, no problem accommodating 6 of us, and the large shaded terrace is a real plus point. The only point was that one of the 4 bedrooms does not have aircon, but the villa stayed surprisingly cool and with a fan this wasnt a big problem. Its in a nice quiet location about 15 - 20 mins walk into Calis centre & beach, but just a few minutes walk from the very frequent dolmus service into Calis or Fethiye. The dolmus will also go to the very good windsurfing centre which is otherwise a long walk away. We were looked after very well & couldnt have asked for more. We all thoroughly enjoyed the holiday.

Perfect, the best of both worlds. The villa is in a quiet location for chilling around the pool and garden but only a short walk to the lively front where there is a good selec tion of bars and restraunts. The villa is superb for spending the very hot days relaxing under the very large patio area and taking a refreshing dip in the well maintained pool, the kids loved it.
