Just returned home after two weeks at Villa Orkide, wish we were still there, this Villa is absolutely superb, condition of Villa exellent (all mod cons) and very well equiped, the pool and jacuzzi was terrific and the lovely gardens made the setting perfect, Villa Orkide is everything it says in the website and more.
I cant praise the owners Alison and Paul enough, the organization was great from initial booking to airport transfers.
Also a big thank you goes to Sinan who runs the management team, this guy couldnt do enough for us.
would definitely go back here.

It was like walking into a show home, spotless and well equipped. Sinan the local representative made us very welcome, the pool was cleaned daily and the villa was exactly as the photos show, if not better. We would definately rebook this villa and loved Dalyan, perfect for our family of 4 (two boys of 10 & 12). The owners provided us with all the information we needed to make this a perfect relaxing and fun holiday. Thank you.

Villa Orkide is a very well appointed property and equipped with everything you would need. The location is excellent, being less than 10 minutes walk to the centre. In spite of being so close to the centre it is in a very quite and peaceful area with good views of the tombs. The swimming pool was a good size and was maintained daily. A special mention for Sinan, who was responsible for maintaining the villa, and was very helpful at all times even checking that our return flights were on time. We would definitely return to this villa in the future.

we can honestly say that this villa is better than it looks on-line,my wife and i had a fantastic time at villa orkide and it was with a big heavy heart that we had to leave at the end of our two week break.this villa is situated on the edge of dalyan, just a five minute stroll to the many fine restaurants and water taxis etc .the villa is spacious.with all mod-cons &utensils that you will need.the pool is a great size for swimming and we both had a lot of laughs and quality time around this area especially enjoying some al-fresco dining whilst using the bbq .the management team available at all times are really nice people and nothing is ever too much bother for them ,thank you sinan..this villa gives you all it states _and more! will we return? hopefully.

This is an excellent place to stay. The description and photos are exactly how it is - stylish, clean, modern, well-equipped, spacious, cool (inside). It really is a beautiful house - and garden and pool. The villa is far enough from the town to give peace and tranquility but near enough for the stroll in, the morning walk to the bakers etc. Sinan oversaw our visit and managed things very well. We were in Dalyan for a week and there was more than enough to do (family of five, including two teenage boys). In fact we ran out of time for all the things we had planned. We would really like to go back!

A really well equipped property, exceptionally clean, and ideal for the three of us on our return trip to Dalyan. Sinan, who looks after the property was excellent and organised a wonderful moonlight trip out on the lake with Captain Osman. We have already booked again for next year!

Perfect. This is the only word I can really use to describe the villa. It was immensely comfortable and furnished to a very high standard. I have never slept so well on holiday and the pale coloured bedrooms, with a pretty Turkish shears were romantic and tranquil. The location is in a quiet part of Dalyan, but only 6-7 minutes walk from the town. The pool was one of the largest we saw attached to a private villa, which was just right for someone like me, who loves to swim. In addition, it was partially shaded in the first part of the morning and late afternoon, which meant that you did not get burnt if you wanted to have a quick dip. The surrounding garden was very pretty and there is a superb view of the rock tombs, lit up at night, from the upper balcony.
Throughout the booking process, the owners were very helpful and prompt in their dealings with us and they provided a book at the villa with lots of local information, which improved our stay. Sinan and the Turkish team were also great.
We will be back!

We had a lovely stay at Villa Orkide in Dalyan, Turkey. We had everything there we needed for a relaxing, lovely holiday! The villa was beautiful and Dalyan was a wonderful place to vacation. The location of the villa was great - very easy walking distance to the town. The villa was very clean, had a nice kitchen and big bathrooms. We especially enjoyed the view from the villa each morning while having coffee by the pool. The owners were just great - anytime we had a question they were quick to get an answer back and had great advise for our trip. The management company in Dalyan were very friendly and very helpful too. We had a great time there and the advise to try the bakery around the corner was great - we did go every day!

Nice property and garden and very peacefull, very good instructions and documentation! Very helpfull owners! Nice location within a short distance to Dalyan. We only find the neighbour house opposite the pool a little close by. Fortunately we had no neighbours at the time of our holidays. What we really missed were sharp kitchen knives, but we understood that the owners have taken care of this already. However what really matters is that we felt at home! everything good enough to come back!

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely villa, our second visit..and definately not our last.
One little whinge, although we arrived on the Saturdey had no gas until the Monday !!!
Owner reply:
Thank you Bill and Brenda for your second visit to Villa Orkide, we are sorry to hear that you had no gas supply for the hob on your arrival late afternoon. We hope that you managed with the electric ring and the cooker. You were very unfortunate for it to run out as it usually lasts four months, and the gas bottle provider in Dalyan is closed on a Sunday. Something we can perhaps talk to our management company about.
We will compensate with a little something extra in your welcome pack on your next visit.
Kind regards Alison & Paul

Excellent compact villa in a great location a short walk from the town centre. Lovely pool, well equipped, well maintained by caring and very helpful English owners. Recommended.

The villa was lovely, just what we wanted and more, like home from home. It was well equipped everything you needed was supplied. The pool was lovely and used regularly to cool down. The location could have been any better, just a short walk to the local supermarket, and town. Full marks to the pool boy, who kept the pool spotless. We had a visiting owl most nights and also frogs and bats. The view of the Rock Tombs was magical in the evening. We would have not hesitation in returning. We love Dalyan it is a wonderful place.

We spent our honeymoon in Villa Orkide in June this year. It was a perfect hideaway, I couldnt have wished for a nicer place to relax. The pool and jacuzzi were excellent and many a happy hour was spent around them! The villa is beautiful particularly the 1st bedroom , the four poster looks very romantic,
The villa is a 5 minute stroll into town and perfect for being away from the noise of the bars but close enough to walk to the shops, bars and restaurants several times a day.
I can recommend Dalyan whole heartedly and will be visiting again and again.
Many thanks for helping to make our honeymoon so special.

Excellent Pool and Garden. BBQ is great. Location is perfect, near town and a convenient park. House is beautiful as well. However, you could not operate the A/Cs in bedrooms at the same time. The fuse could not handle the load and kept shutting off. So you have to decide which bedroom will be cool, and who will suffer in the evenings. Minor ant problem overall in the house but with a bit of care, it was easy to manage. Overall we had a great vacation here and would love to come back.
Owner reply:
Thank you Erkan for your review and bringing to our attention the problem you experienced with the aircon, we have requested an electrician look into this as a matter of urgency. Hopefully it will easily be rectified as this has not been an issue in the past.
Thank you again for choosing to stay in our villa and we look forward to you and your family returning in the future. Alison & paul

We found the facilities ideal for a self-catering holiday but also with the added bonus of restaurants within easy reach and a level walk to the town.
The staff at ORUC were always helpful and the transfer arrangements well managed.

The property was in excellent condition and was very well equipped and presented. A welcome pack of essentials, (tea, coffee, milk etc.) was much appreciated. The pool and gardens were well maintained. The excellent condition of this delightful villa made for a truly memorable holiday.

The Villa itself was well presented in all aspects, on a residential estate approx 10 minutes walk into Dalyan and the local shops and excellent riverside restaurants.
Pool and gardens super.
Immediate surrounding area still undergoing development... roadway uneven not yet metalled, some vacant plots now overgrown, local concern of rise in burglaries to villas so be security conscious... but dont let this spoil things !!!
We will return !

Overall had a very good holiday, however we found that the 400 yards description into town to be a bit decieving, as poor road condition and with one member of our party with walking difficulties made the walk impossible.
also the villa lacked information in what there was to do, apart from the sheet of organised trips that oruc offered.
The villa was beautiful, enjoyed many bbqs on the evening by the loverly pool, air conditioning well needed on a night time. enjoyed the supurb views all around dalyan.
Thanks for a wonderful holiday
Owner reply:
Thank you Peter for your booking and we are glad that you enjoyed the villa and welcomed your feedback. We are always adding improvements to our villa and services and will make sure that our guests are aware that the tourist guides and booklets are kept in the coffee table draw, featuring things to do in Dalyan and trips much further afield. We are sorry that a member of your party had difficulty walking. The villa is 400 yards level walking to the main street, with parts curently gravelled, which will be surfaced by the local council when the final plot has been built on.
Kind regards Alison & Paul.

beautiful villa in a warm and caring enviroment. The villa was everything and more.It was very clean and homely,we felt like royalty. We could not fault the villa, just be prepared for the mosquitos at night or when leaving the villa as they can be a pain. The area surrounding is amazing, with breathtaking views day and night with lots of local shops, bars and activities to take part in.We will be seriously considering return to Villa Orkide. The best holiday we have ever had by far.

Lovely location, reliable management company, well presented - a home away from home with added benefits, though the pool was a bit nippy as it was still April.
Will recommend to family and friends without hesitation.

Clean, as described, the only item we needed was the instructions for the washing machine as the controls where in Turkish. Apart from that very nice property.
Owner reply:
Thank you for your feedback. Washing machine instructions have been down loaded in English and are next to the washer to assist all future users. Alison & Paul

Just returned from a wonderful week in the lovely Villa Orkide. A perfect location, secluded yet within easy access to the town of Dalyan. Have spent most of our day time in and around the fantastic pool and jacuzzi.
The Oruc team were very helpful and friendly and we made use of a couple of excursions, the highlight being the 12 island cruise.
Dalyan itself is very nice as are the people and there are plenty of good places to eat (The Seahorse being our favourite).
Thanks very much for a perfect week, we will definitely be back!

The villa is situated in a great area just a short walk from the center of Dalyan a lovely town that retains a traditonal turkish charm. The villa itself was very nice although we thought having 2 double bedrooms could be an issue when renting out to famillies esepcially with older children. We made full use of the pool area and the views all around were very picturesque. The nearby turtle beach was to die for hopefully it will stay that way! The oruc team were very helpful and efficient whenever we had a problem it was sorted out immediately. The accomadation was to a good standard and we had everything we needed and the a/c came in very handy! There are over 50 restaurants in Dalyan but our favourite had to be Metins a wide choice of food and a great atmosphere. In all an excellent holiday a lovely villa, very friendly people and a great town! We hope to come back to Dalyan again.

We (3 adults and a 9 year old) stayed in Villa Orkide for a week July 07.
The villa has a good location, just a short walk to the main street (at the opposite end from the mosque) and is very quietly situated. The standard of the accommodation was excellent. We all appreciated the air conditioning which was throughout but particularly effective in the bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge/ freezer. The pool was a good size and kept clean on a daily basis. The Oruc team were very helpful and had a good choice of excursions. We went with them on the 12 island cruise which was a fabulous day out, spent on a beautiful boat with just a small group of people lots of stops for swimming, snorkelling etc. ( many other boats were extremely crowded and not of the same high standard) Loved Dalyan itself - lots of places to choose from to eat, many options for excursions, friendly people, just don’t forget to go armed with mossie defences!

The villa was excellently situated just a short walk from the main street.
The jacuzzi was wonderful especially when sipping cold fizz in the plastic glasses provided(for safety issues)
The management team serving the villa provided an excellent service.
There was nothing that we felt had not been provided and would have no hesitation in recommending to other family/firends a stay in this villa.
Can imagine due to the high standard of accommodation and location that this will be a villa that we be highly sought after, do not delay in booking.
Owner reply:
Thank you for your excellent review we are delighted that you found everything to your liking. Hope to hear from you next year.

As the first to rent the villa we were very pleased with the accomodation. When we arrived the curtains had not been fitted to the lounge or bedrooms but within a couple of hours of telling ORUC they were put up. The shower screen never arrived and it meant a rather wet floor everytime we showered. we felt that the £50 return was about £10 dearer than the taxi fare available from dalyan, but were meet by two reps from oruc who were very friendly and helpful, especially Nadia from milan. The only thing we would have like was at least some milk and a cold drink in the fridge on our arrival as it was a long day travelling and we thought a welcome pack was supplied on arrival regardless of the discount as their was only two of us. The pool was lovley and was cleaned everyday, it will be nice when the garden is a bit more established and will give a bit more privacy. Needless to say we loved dalyan and we intend to re-visit maybe later in the year. We didnt try out the oven, hob, microwave, toaster etc as we ate out every evening and had cold foods and lovely turkish breads for breakfast and lunch. If there had been maybe four adults and been there for two weeks we would have probabley tried out the bbq, maybe next time.
Owner reply:
Many thanks for your last minute booking and feedback from your stay. Your comments are very helpful for the future and will be fed back to our villa management team in Dalyan. Welcome Packs are to be provided for all our guests.
You will be pleased to know that the luxury glass shower screen has now been fitted, so we hope that you will enjoy all the facilities to the full next time.
Kind regards
Alison & Paul
