A lovely, 3 storey, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Townhouse in a most sought after quiet, South West facing position, set on this fabulous, self contained, walled Resort, overlooking the 12th Fairway, with wonderful views of the golf course and lake, from all 3 terraces. In a prime location, within just a two minute walk to one of the 16 pools, including children's section and tennis courts (bookable, 4 raquets and balls supplied).
Facilites in the house include:
1) 42" Flat screen TV with Satellite and all the main English Channels (including CBBC) + Eurosport. Also Spanish, Italian and German channels.
2) DVD player with a selection of DVD's.
3) I-pod docking station, Playstation 3 + games, portable CD player/radio.

5) Telephone which enables you to call any other properties on the Resort, to book restaurants on the Resort or for emergencies.

The house is south west facing and has 3 spacious terraces. The first floor bedroom, which can have either twin or a king size bed, with en suite bathroom, has sliding patio doors leading onto the very spacious terrace, where there are 4 sunbeds, dining table and chairs and a barbecue.. There is also access to the terrace from the 1st floor landing so as to avoid disturbance for anyone using the bedroom. The top terrace has magnificent views of the lake.
Fully air conditioned. Both bedrooms and living areas have air conditioning at no extra cost. As you will appreciate, many owners will charge additionally for this, and many properties have only air conditioning in the living area. Both bedrooms also have ceiling fans.
The 2 bathrooms (one en suite) both comprise baths with shower screens, bidet, sink and storage.
The house will be immaculately presented with very high quality bed linen, towels and bath mats.
We are the owners and not an agency and use the townhouse for our own holidays. We therefore haven't cut costs when it comes to comfort and facilities, and is fully equipped for everything you need for a comfortable stay. Why not try a short break if you can't spare a week or two?
Check in is from 2pm onwards and departure 10am. However, depending on who is arriving/departing there may be some flexibility on this, when we will be happy to accommodate. Please check.

The golf course is a Jack Nicklaus designed par 68 course where water features on many holes. It is ideally suited to both the high and low handicapper. Golf clubs, golf buggies and trollies are available for hire at the Clubhouse. There is also a well stocked golf shop.
La Torre has now been open for a few years and has beautifully well kept gardens and public areas, and with the opening of the 5 Star Inter Continental Hotel in 2009 there are a great range of facilities there on offer, which include:
1) Very large outdoor pool in a landscaped setting, overlooking the golf course and with sun beds (there is a charge by the Hotel for non-residents).
2) Ginko Restaurant
3) Vinoteca Al Fresco Poolside Bar & Grill
4) Espa - gym, 25 metre pool, sauna, steam room, 6 treatment rooms offering a selection of spa treatments.

Driving here is very easy given the vast amounts of EU money that has been invested in infrastructure, especially roads, in the past 5 years. For example, the drive to La Torre from Alicante airport, 110 kilometres away, is only on motorway/dual carriageway until the final few hundred metres approaching the main gate. However, Murcia airport is much nearer and is only a 15 minute drive.
La Torre is a lovely, self contained Resort on it's own and you would have a wonderful holiday if you didn't venture further afield. However, that would be a pity, as we believe that to get the best from your holiday you should consider renting a car as there are so many places to visit and enjoy within very easy reach, if only for the many lovely beaches within a 15-20 minute drive, the nearest being Santiago de la Ribera.
The region of Costa Calida or warm coast is known for its mild, all year Mediterranean climate. Murcia is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt regions in Spain with a diversity of historical, artistic and gastronomic tradition. Just a short drive from the house you can discover the cultural heritage of the region, spend time on one of the many Blue Flag beaches or enjoy watersports on the Mar Menor Sea. Cartagena is just 20 kilometres away and is an ancient port with ruins of a Roman theatre and several museums. About 20 minutes drive from La Torre is the ancient city of Murcia. It has a good selection of high street brand shops and a very large Corte Ingles Department Store. Among the back streets and heading towards the Cathedral you will find little side streets with exclusive shops and boutiques. Local markets are open all year and there is a different one for every day of the week. These are listed in the guest book.
It is also a boom area for sporting activities, be it golf, the many water sports available or even football in season with Real Murcia playing at Estadio Nueva Condomina, a 31000 seat stadium opened in 2006 beside a huge shopping centre & cinema of the same name. Contracts have recently been signed to build a huge Paramount Theme Park and Lifestyle Centre in Alhama de Murcia, approximately 20 minutes from La Torre.
