Lovely cottage with breathtaking views. We felt very at home at the cottage and had a very relaxing time. The cottage was spacious and well furnished and was very comfortable. Kenmare is a lovely town and well worth the visit, it is also well positioned to explore the local are. Only downside was the gas as we left it on and had a big bill at the end of our stay ( we did not monitor our usage). Other than that it was perfect and we will definately go back.

We have travelled extensively throughout the world, but nothing matched the views that we enjoyed at Kenmare every morning and evening. With the beautiful countryside, cloud formations, mountains and sea views ever changing in front of our eyes. Exceeded by the daily presence of wild deer in the garden every day. I have already recommended this cottage to my family. We shared the holiday with friends from Australia and they were equally impressed with the setting. The cottage provided a high quality of accommodation and we had everything that we needed. A memorable holiday was had by all and a big thank you to Jeremiah. Lynda

The house was very well clean and made us feel comfortable "home".
The whole property was excellent: big and quiet, huge garden and nice view over the Kenmare Bay.
We had all the time the possibility to contact the owner and he always was helpfull.
After one week the towels and sheets were changed, rubbish had been taken away: very good service.
Thand you!!!

Nice house. Stunning views. Love the deer in the garden. Owner is friendly and always available to help. We had a wonderful week and really enjoyed the nearby Gleninchiquin park - highly recommended.

Very well designed and maintained property on lovely grounds with a great view and complete privacy. The only negative was the lack of wi-fi on site.

Modern, spacious house. We loved design of the living areas and large bedrooms, esp. jaccuzzi bath.
Situated on hillside over looking Kenmare bay and mountains the views are breath taking.
Owners very helpful when travel arrangements had to be changed.

Well, one of these very unfortunate situations. Due to the very bad cold at that time, we couldn`t get
this large rooms warmed up to our comfort - so we had to leave and get back to germany.
The house itself was great but as You can imagine with cold feet and a running nose and no cosy place to rest your head, there ist almost nothing left to please You.
Jer has been trying very hard to get things organized -but there was not very much he could do.Mother nature has proved again to be stronger
than we. So, no bad feelings inspite of the unconveniences. We all did the best we could. We shall keep in touch. Renate& Ulrich

A lovely house with an excellent location and a wonderful view. However, the KingSize en Suite beds were misrepresented. They were Queen size and the quality of the mattresses was poor. In addition the box springs were missing significantly reducing our comfort!

This property was a class apart. The norm for holiday rental properties is to pack you in for maximum return on investment. Everything about Bun Cill Athta is the opposite, large double bedrooms with equally large en-suites and exceptionally large open plan living, dining and well fitted kitchen. Windows everywhere provide masses of light that only adds to the feeling of space. Combine this with a secluded, but not too remote, location that has well planned outside space to appreciate the stunning views and you have a winner. We would visit again and recommend to anyone without hesitation.

The home is really nice and comfortable, good location however, was missing some of the amenities we had in the other 2 homes we rented during our trip. Other homes had: extra towels (hard to make one bath towel or hand towel last a whole week), paper towels, hairdryers, hot pads for oven use, soap for washer/dryer, regular electric coffee pot, telephone to make local calls if necessary. Also beds advertised as Kings were really only queens. Other homes did not charge extra for electricity or water, only for heating.
Could use a bigger indoor rug by entry - hard to wipe feet on such a small rug. Even with all the missing comforts, it was a pleasant stay for us.

We have stayed here 2 years running now, as we loved it so much! The cottage is perfect if you want to get away from it all, yet still be close to civilisation. It is situated approx 2miles from Kenmare, a lovely town which has many restaurants bars, shops and a beautiful park. The cottage has landscaped gardens, perfect for families, and deer roam the hill and can be seen from the cottage. The cottage is very smart inside, having all mod cons such as dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, TV, DVD player etc, and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Home from home! Any problems, and the owner is easily contacted and is very friendly and helpful.

This was a really spacious and high quality property, with great views on a clear day. It was quiet and easy to relax in, not what Id call cosy, more classy and chic. There was just enough to do in Kenmare and surrounding area. Its a great small town with good pubs, restaurants and shops but easy driving distance from some lovely scenery.
