We have holidayed at Villa Jolio for a number of years now and our expectations are always fulfilled and we would gladly recommend this site and facility to any potential visitor. The next door neighbours, Hotel Celay, provide excellent back up. The individual noted ratings of this site are all first-class. This is a villa not to be missed.

We have utilised the facilities of Villa Jolio on several occasions and it continues to provide an excellent base for a wonderful holiday in Turkey. It is still highly recommened to anyone that wishes to visit this region, as the Ovens family and the Celay proprietors and personnel complement your stay in this ideal location. It is our intention to visit the Villa again sometime in 2012.

What a fantastic holiday! The villa is amazing and so comfortable. We couldnt have asked for more. Villa Jolio is set in the most stunning scenery and so peaceful. Everything you could need is right there. The staff at the Hotel Celay nearby were so friendly and welcoming and we regularly used the bar and restaurant there. The Villa is decorated and cleaned to the highest specification. The location is perfect, near enough to the nearest town to be easily reached but far enough away to give the peace and quiet we were looking for. Looking forward to booking again for next year, we cant wait!

Myself, husband and my two children had a fantastic time at the Villa Jolio, Everything was perfect from the time we arrived until the time we had to leave. The views are amazing and you cant appreciate how beautiful the gardens are until youve seen them for yourself! Everything was so well equiped. The dishwasher and washing machine came in very handy no washing up and no dirty cloths to take home with you. The pool was lovely especially since the weather was so hot, we were lucky enough to stay for two weeks which still didnt seem long enough. We would recommend the villa to anyone and are just about to re-book for next year!

Wow - thank you so much for letting us stay at the beautiful Villa Jolio! The pictures can never really show just how lovely it is and the location is absolutely amazing. Waking up to that breathtaking view, we knew it would be a fantastic day. The weather was gorgeous and the villa so spacious. No complaints whatsoever. Aytan is so friendly, please say hello from all of us next time you see her.

We have visited the Villa on 3 occasions and it always offers an exception holiday venue. The description is acurate but possibly does not fully portray the wonderful position of the villa. We intend in the not too distant future to re-book, so this will convey our enjoyment of the environment provided by the villa. We would most certainly recommend the villa.

Villa Jolio is a beautiful house which has everything, very well equiped, a good size swimming pool. It is very well taken care off. I enjoyed the covered terrace, perfect spot for any meal, farniente or game and the unspoiled view you get from there over some green mountains. I hope I can make it back sometimes !

We have just returned from our 2 week stay at the Villa Jolio we had a great time, we would like to thank John and Liz for letting us stay at their family villa the location is perfect! Spectacular views in every direction! Next the Villa is the Celay hotel which was very handy to pop in and have a drink. The staff are very friendly (especially Rambo and Joseph) which we got to know very well. I would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends for the perfect holiday.

We had an excellent holiday at Villa Jolio and can thoroughly recommend it for a relaxing holiday. The villa is really well equipped with all the home comforts required, even the beds were comfortable which is something we have found a problem with previous villa holidays. The weather was really hot during our stay and we were really grateful for the shaded areas at the villa and the lovely pool to cool down in. The location of the villa was excellent and with it being a short taxi ride to everything we wanted to do. During our stay we used Mustafas taxi (Dermus brother), his number is stored on the villa mobile, he was extremely helpful, polite and punctual and can thoroughly recommend him. The villa mobile is a great idea and really useful. The staff at the Celay Hotel were really friendly and helpful, we ate at the hotel several times and the food was of a really good standard. We also booked a number of trips through the hotel and they were excellent. Overall a fantastic holiday, great accommodation and excellent weather.

What an amazing place! The Villa felt like a home with everything you could possibly need or want there. The staff at the Celay Hotel next door were so friendly and helpful and extremely welcoming. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay in terms of location either. The local bus service is excellent, very cheap and very regular! There is so much to see and do and really one week was not enough. There was a very helpful folder in the Villa with lots of useful information and recommendations. The location of the Villa is just perfect for relaxing - no traffic noise etc. and the views are just stunning. The accomodation is of the highest standard and so clean. The whole holiday was just perfect in every detail.

Had a lovely holiday at Villa Jolio. This was our first villa holiday and it exceeded our expectations. It was also our first trip to Turkey and we will definately be returning some time in the future. The villa was well furnished and extremely spacious. The pool was lovely and clean and the pool cleaner came every morning to make sure it stayed that way! The villa is set in a great location amongst the montains so there was beautiful views to wake up to every morning. The villa was a great base for us as we had two small infants and it was nice to be able to put them to bed when they wanted a nap and we were then able to enjoy the sunshine. Also good that downstairs is open plan so we could always keep an eye on them. The veranda was also great and we enjoyed spending evenings out there with a BBQ and a few drinks (plenty of mozzy repelant needed though!) Hissonarou was approx 30 mins walk (with pushchairs) so we would walk there and taxi back. Would recommend using the villa mobile (very useful) and phoning Dormuz as he was lovely and cheaper that the other taxi firms. Only negative comments we we would make would be that the cupboards could do with cleaning and sorting. There were alot of expired products which were attracting flies. The villa other than that was clean and tidy. Also, one of the travel cots provided would only suit a baby who could not pull themselves up (although I think this was provided by the hotel and not by the villa owners, the one provided by the villa owners was perfectly adequate). Would recommend a meal at the Buzz Bar in Olu Deniz and spending a day at Sugar Beach. If you phone either of these, they will collect you from the villa free of charge! Hotel staff were helpful and we had no bother from the dogs. You can hear them barking now and then but not enough to spoil your holiday. We would definately recommend Turkey as a holiday destination and Villa Jolio. We hope to be able to return again soon. Wish we had booked for 10 days instead of 7!! Enjoy!!

Really had a fantastic holiday. This is is my third time at the Villa Jolio and I am convinced it improves every time. I was impressed with the supermarket delivery service which was fast and efficient and saved carrying up large bottles of water, and indeed, 'Effes', up the hill! The weather was beautiful, hot and sunny without the blistering heat. We would definitely consider retuning at this time of year. Our freinds were smitten too! Cant wait to return!

We was very lucky in our choice of villa as they all look quite nice in the photos but you dont really know what you are going to end up with until you get there. I would say villa Jolio was one of the best looking villas that we saw on our hoilday. The pool was also a great size compared to a lot that we saw.The location for us was great as we don't like to be on top of everything and it was only a short cab ride away to get to the town centre. There was everything in the villa that you needed which made our holiday with 3 children easier. The staff at the hotel next door were very helpful even making us sandwich's at 1am when we arrived. There has been alot of remarks about the hotel dogs barking,Im not a animal lover and the dogs did bark but not enough to affect me. There is a mobile phone in the villa for you to use and that is a great idea. All the phone no's you need are stored in it .Drumus the cab driver was very reliable and we used him for every outing as he was cheaper than the buses. For us the only downside was the pool would get shaded in between 3-5pm and the poolman and gardener Omar was very friendly but he would vist the villa frequently throughout the day. Overall we had a brilliant holiday and if we returned to Turkey we would stay at Villa Jolio again. Enjoy your vist,The Puleston Family.

The Villa is in just the right location, a wonderful aspect of pine forest and mountains. Close by is a small family run hotel whose owners are hospitable and friendly and will assist with any enquires one might have regarding the area. The Villa is spacious and meets all needs for a very happy family holiday. I would certainly recommend the Villa Jolio to my friends and family.

We had a fantastic holiday in Turkey and Villa Jolio was the perfect base for us.It was like a home from home with everything you could need and a little more besides! The views from the villa were lovely and it was great to sit out in the morning and have breakfast in such peaceful surroundings. Although set in a quiet area the Hotel Celay is just next door and handy to drop in for the first or last drink of the day.The meals at the hotel are adequate but I would recommend eating elsewhere as there are much better restaurants in Hisanarou and Fethiye. We hired a car for the week which I think is essential if you want to visit the many places there are to see in the area. However, if you just want to chill out there are restaurants within walking distance but leave the high heels at home. We would definately recommend the Villa Jolio to friends ( but not too loudly as everyone will want to go and it might be booked up the next time we want to go ourselves )

we stayed for 2 weeks between 25 sept to 9 oct 2006 and were not disapointed the people in the hotel next door could'nt have been more helpful or friendly, the house mobile phone was a fantastic idea, all the numbers you will need for your stay, delivery from local shop and Dermus the taxi man especialy. I would recomend the 12 island boat trip and the Turkish baths both can be booked by the hotel you will be picked up and brought back all in the price FANTASTIC!! But dont take my word for it check it out for your self. PS we had heard of some adverse reports of the gardeners who maintain the pool as being around a bit to often, this is completly not true they come early in the morning to tend the pool (you wouldnt want to swim in a dirty pool would you) and they are very friendly. Many thanks to John and his family for giving us the oppotunity to stay at their truely wonderful villa.

Only problem was the loud barking from the dog in the Hotel next door which disturbed us each night. Pool cleaning staff spent too much time each day on the property which meant lack of privacy . Garden lights come on too late at night, especially for September - had to barbeque in the dark! Otherwise everything was great and we may well be back.

The villa was lovely and far exceeded expectations. We were welcomed by the owner of the hotel and instantly felt at home. The villa had many homely touches that added to the holiday, eg basic food rations and water already waiting, mobile phone, extensive information catologue, board games and inflatables in the pool. The pool and grounds were very well maintained and the views are stunning. We loved Turkey, it's people and the food and will definately return. Our transfers were arranged by the owners and all ran very smoothly. The only downside was the distance to the beach but as this is made clear in the advert for the villa it is not really a problem. We found that using the dolmus (albeit cheap) for a family of four to and from the beach each day plus again on the night time to go to Fethiye or Hisonorou certainly used up the lira. There were however some nice restuarants within walking distance of the villa with one owner even giving us a lift home at the end of the evening. Overall a fantastic holiday and I would certainly recommend both Turkey and the villa. Heather August 2006

This villa is excellent value for money. It has been very well furnished and has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. The grounds were well kept and the mountain views outstanding. The pool was immaculate and maintained daily by Omar. We have just returned from 3 weeks there and loved every minute of it. The people at the hotel next door were extremely helpful and kind and it was very handy for breakfast or that last drink before bed! We used a taxi to go anywhere from the house. There were 6 of us and it cost pennies more than the local bus and even the slightest bank can seem mountainous in the summer sun in Turkey! The villa is in a peaceful position and at night you have Hisaranou a couple of minutes drive away, which is a lively town with numerous excellent restaurants and bars. We highly recommend Villa Jollio to you.

We arrived a little apprehensive as this was our first villa holiday in Turkey (which we have visited many times),but we were not disappointed! The views were beautiful and it was secluded. This was a holiday that offered to us a combination of excitement through excursions and relaxation by the amazing pool! The people around us were very helpful and full of information when ever we needed - even suppling contacts for renting a car. We were not that impressed with the hotel food that was next door - very limited, although the people were fantastic. There are many local restaurants which were also good value for money. As we had several teenagers with us I can definetly recommend the jeep safari, and for a romantic (never to be beaten) dinner, with amazing views, White Dolphin in Olu Deniz. The restaurant collects you and drops you off after your meal. A taste of sheer luxury! A fantastic holiday - so fab that we are going back next year for three weeks - see you there!!!!

What can I say but this is a perfect destination to relax and unwind- Even with 3 children under 5!!!. The interior is without doubt beautiful. The pool is inviting to say the least. The level of support from the hotel is superb without being obtrusive- so you have privacy without feeling isolated. (When we arrived in the evening of the first day, once we had settled in and put the children to bed, the manager personally brought a meal over for us). All in all this was a desination that gave us everything we needed and more. My only complaint was that we booked one week instead of two- we were worried about going abroad for the first time with the children. Our concerns were unfounded, considering the resources available it was a real home from home. This was the place to be. Go for it and enjoy. You will not be dissapointed

We were very impressed with the villa. It was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The view from the villa was magnificent, although it is overlooked. The description of the villa therefore, is a little misleading as it gives the impression of ultimate seclusion. The gardners were very attentive and obviously looked after the grounds with the upmost care, but it did feel a little intrusive as they entered the villa grounds a few times each day quite freely. The hotel next door was very helpful and made our holiday very easy. All in all we were very happy with the villa and our holiday and would recommend it to friends and family. Thank you very much.

villa jolio was an exceptional villa, it was excellent value for money, exceedingly clean and very well organised. The pool and gardens were kept clean on a daily basis and it was great having the hotel and their exceptionally helpful staff around. The only downside was that the beach was a car ride away, however we knew this and therefore wasn't a problem, especially with the local buses leaving very regularly. The holiday and villa was great and I will be reccommending it to our friends and family. In addition to this John and Liz Ovens prepared the information both before and during our stay to the highest of standards and we really felt like we were looked after, I'll be choosing the Ovens for travel agents in the future - do they organise trips to the Caribbean and have they got a villa there? All in all - wonderful even if we got our wallet stolen at the market at Fethiye!

the villa Jolio was everything we hoped it would be.comfortable, very well furnished and spacious. pure heaven, the villa was beautifully maintained, the gardens and pool area immaculate. stunning views, set in peaceful location, there's not a lot more you could ask for. we were very well looked after by the owners and staff from the local hotel celey, who would arranage taxis and advise us on trips and things to see and do in the area. we have visited turkey many times over the last 7 year's on package holiday's , this is the first time we have arranged our own flight's and accomadation, only wished we had done it year's ago , this is the way to go, we were met at the airport (arranged by the celey hotel) and were at the villa in just over an hour, thank's liz and john for letting us enjoy your lovely villa and hope to return next year

When we arrived in Turkey we really did'nt know what to expect, having holidayed in Spain for the last 7 years we thought a change would be good. We certainly was not dissapointed. The Villa Jolio was in a perfect location if you want to unwind and totally chill out, the views around us were stunning. Mountains, beautiful trees and greenery surrounded us, it is such an idyllic place to stay. We were not overlooked by other villas, although there were other villas in the vicinity they did not obscure our view, there were no people wandering by at all as the location was slightly off the beaten track so to speak.
We did'nt need a car as the shops, bars and superb restaurants were about a twenty minute walk down the hill and the taxi's were very reasonably priced, we found ourselves walking to Hisoranou and riding back. Although we did hire a jeep for a couple of days, just to see more of the superb countryside and idyllic settings.
The hotel Chelay was very close by and proved to be ideal for the children and for ourselves for when we returned back from an evening out, we found ourselves popping in more often than not for a nightcap (or two)They made us feel so very welcome and they really could'nt do enough for us.
That was one of the nicest things we liked about our stay in Turkey, the people were genuinly very friendly and always put themselves out to talk to us and make us feel welcome.
The Villa was very well equipped and the air conditioning was wonderful although we did find that the temperture did drop slightly in the evenings and it was'nt always needed. The pool was a big hit for the children and great for just cooling down and bringing the body temperature back to normal as the mid-day sun was very very hot indeed.
John and Liz have certainly made it feel very homely and welcoming, we would definatly recommend villa Jolio to our friends.
1. Perfect Location
2. Stunning views
3. Peace and quite
4. Beautiful well equiped Villa 5. Near to amenities
6. Beautifull beaches and scenery

What more could you want ....

This is the e-mail we received from our first Villarenters customer. As they haven't used the review system we have taken the liberty of interpreting their comments into the ratings since their review is very positive:-

Good Afternoon John
I thought I would send you my comments direct. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at your Villa .The property was beautiful and very well fitted out. We were delighted with the quality of all the extra bits that went with the Villa inside and out, the furnishings and the fixtures.
As we were the first to fully use the villa we probably got a few of the new property snags, for example the doors creaked and were extremely noisy, there was no hot water in the morning for the first week as the solar power only heated it up during the day, and on a couple of occasions we had some workman come to the villa to measure up, and there was a bit of a language barrier as to why they were there. These are issues we just lived with as, to be fair, we did speak to what I imagine was the works managers and the problems were fixed, which I am sure will not affect any future guests.
The only thing my wife did not like that much was in late afternoon there would be a couple of men come and water the garden area whilst were sitting there, my wife just felt a bit self conscious that she was lying sunbathing and from nowhere these guys would appear. If anything this is what we would like to see different in the future.
Despite this we had a wonderful holiday we enjoyed the quality of the villa, the location did not cause us any concern, neither and we did not notice any noise during the day from the hotel.
May I wish you the very best for the future with the villa and mention we would have no hesitation in recommending the villa to our friends.
Kind Regards
John & family

Whilst you can view all properties in one currency to help compare prices, you will be charged in the currency indicated on the advert. You can book & pay in exactly the same way but the price quoted may vary slightly to the amount on your card statement depending on the exchange rate on the dates you pay your deposit and balance.

Breakage Waiver: The owner requires you to pay this fee which covers you for any potential breakages. It is insurance against accidental breakages during your holiday, meaning you do not need to pay any breakage deposit.
