We stayed at Casa Montserrat this August for a week and had a really lovely holiday.
The villa was exceptionally clean so very well equiped, there was nothing more that we could have needed.
We arrived and were greated by Ron and Ruth who look after the two villas, who were very kind and gave us some milk and tea bags! All through out our stay, they were at hand if we needed anything or any help with directions, but never imposed on our stay.
The pool area was fantastic. Equiped with sun loungers, tables and chairs big enough for a family to eat around. Our son hardly left the pool all week. Sharingthe pool with another family was not a problem as there was plenty of room for us all .
The barbecue is a great addition for outdoor cooking of an evening.
We would recommend a car a the villa is in a tiny, unspoilt part of Spain and it made it much easier to site see and do the shopping.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, this is the place although there were plenty of sight seeing and exploring that could be done.
Although the villa was on two levels, we managed with our baby, however, for small children on the move, it could prove a little difficult, but we coped with this for a week.
Overall, a lovely, friendly and clean place to stay .

Casa Monserrat/Clara Del Luna was a wonderful place to stay, it certainly met our expectations, Exceptionally clean - both the property and the pool with equipment and furniture of high quality and everything you could need. Our hosts were there, if needed, for information for places to visit, never intrusive, considerate, friendly and helpful. Claro Del Luna is a compact ideal place to stay for a couple wanting to get away from it all (car essential), but having the beneift of being so close to Granada, Sierra Navada and the beautiful vistas of ~Spain. We also had the benefit of having time in the larger,Casa Montserrat which has wonderful views(binoclars provided for bird watching)which was ideal for a family. We would certainly recommend this property to like minded friends who like to enjoy the country they visit, walking, sight seeing, reading, lazing by the pool.

We loved our stay at Casa Montserrat. The house was cosy and perfect for the two of us with our two year old son. The pool area was the best part of the villa we loved eating outside. Although we visited while the temperature was in the 30s, the pool was still cold, so be warned. There was no WiFi, which meant it was difficult finding activities close by, however, the owners manual was packed with info on things to do. The owners themselves were the perfect hosts. Always available if and when needed but never intrusive. Sky TV was another bonus. Overall, it was one of the best holidays we have had and we regret not staying longer!

We found the property to be exactly as described, tastefully finished, very clean and well looked after, with everything required for a very comfortable holiday. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner who was kind and friendly. We had the best of both worlds the peace and tranquility of a quiet rural village with fantastic surrounding views, and for days lazing around the great pool, with only a 40 min drive to great beaches. It was a perfect family holiday and we are so looking forward to returning as soon as we can. I would highly recommend this property if like us you want to see real Spain. Excellent.

We had a great time - was very relaxing and in a stunning peaceful location. Very easy to get to Granada and the coast and had nice walks directly from the villa.
The description of "private Pool", did make it sound like it was solely for the accomodation, not shared with another villa.
Thanks
Phil

Thank you for a fantistic holiday at Claro Del Luna/Casa Montserrat, You were both excellent hosts always there when needed but never intrusive. We found the accomodation to be very comfortable and spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed for a truely relaxing holiday. The pool was a welcome bonus also the sky tv and we were able to check our emails and reseach our holiday even further with the luxury of internet access.
The village of Pinos Del Valle is beautiful the views are fantastic. We found the Spanish villagers to be very friendly and helpful. It was an ideal location for a family holiday very close to Granada as well as the beaches. We cannot wait to visit again a true taste of Spain
