Return visit for my family. Property as before with additions (wi-fi). New restaurant opend since we last visited -Miyame - relaxed, friendly, tasty and cheap. Also Salah helped us get a Tangier made (slow cooked stew - saw it on Jamie Olivers programme). Thanks for everything Salah and Latifa. See you again - Inshallah.

We rented both the 2nd and 3rd floor flats for the Gnaoua festival. It was great as there were a lot of us and we had plenty of space and could all use the roof terrace. Received maps and info from the owner before we left and he arranged airport transfers - made life much easier (and cheaper). The festival was brill and we were in the thick of it. Essa was heaving. Thankfully we stayed on a few extra days afterwards to enjoy Essa when it was more peaceful. The flat was WOW. Breakfast in the terrace sunlounge was great as it was a bit windy some days. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Said wed return - and we did. Actually enjoyed Essaouira even more! It didnt take us any time to get into it. GREAT new reataurant opened 10 yards from the front door. MIYAME - hope I spelled it right. Highly highly recommended. Flat was great and Salah very wecoming. This could become a habit! Just whats needed to get away from it all.

The flat was in very good state, it has tv and stereo for use which is good, to be excellent it should had a house cleaning once a week at least specially to the bathroom.
Im just expecting the Breakage/security refund to be totally satisfied with the house and the booking procedure.
It had all types of games and nice music with helped to the party. The ambient of Essaouira is amazing

The apartment was fully cleaned prior to the guests arrival. Had they have stayed longer than one week it would have been fully cleaned again. They could have requested extra cleaning during their stay at a nominal charge as explained in the Information Booklet in the apartment. As six of them were sharing the bathroom I am not surprised that they wanted extra cleaning - please, just ask Salah or Fatima!

Lovely flat with everything that we needed but most of all a fabulous location. Communication before we went was really helpful and whilst we didnt really make use of Salahs services it was good to know that he was there and he popped in every now and again to make sure we were ok.
We had a fantastic time and it was great to have the flat to pop back to throughout the day.

Excellent, beautiful apartment with a really convenient location. Its really right in the center of things - 5 minutes from the beach and less than 30 seconds from the very heart of the medina. The owner is very kind and invested in his guests having a good time, and thats certainly not hard in such a beautiful apartment and lovely city.
Id definitely stay there again. No questions asked.

We went with the expectation to rent a car to travel around, but didnt! Just chilled out in Essaouira. Had the second floor apartment, but Salah, the manager, let us use the terrace when the top flat was vacant. The flat is in a great location in the center but nice and quiet. Only a 5 minute walk from the port and beach. Our bedroom looked directly down over the Spice Market. Great to watch life float by. Flat itself is as described, but larger than we expected. Salah, who spoke good English, arranged transfers and was always friendly and helpful when asked. Recommend the restaurants in the information book in the flat but also found some other good places. Plenty of alleyways to discover new places. Highly recommended. Thanks.

The English owner contacted us before we left and gave useful advice. Also arranged transfer to Essa. Met at Essa gates by English speaking manager who took us to apartment. Great position on quiet street in centre of medina. Gave us a map, useful info folder & mobile phone. (English owner called us to check everything ok) Apartment had that WOW factor - better than photos. Spacious living area and adequate bedrooms. Kitchenette small (electric hot plates and kettle) but adequate as usually ate out - good food and v. cheap. Lots of windows all over apartment so nice and bright. Clean. Plenty of books and games. We didnt bother with DVD or TV but did use the music centre (various CDs provided). Great views of Essa, Spice market below and hills in distance, from our bedroom window. Ocean views from the roof terrace (we were in 2nd floor without terrace, but manager gave us key to roof terrace as no one was using it from 3rd floor). Housekeeper Fatmah cooked one eveing - recommended (gave her some extra cash to wash up!). Only one complaint - we should have stayed longer. Essa is great. Will most definately return. Thanks.....

A good position for walking around Essaouira,lots of good views.The apartment was light and airy.The english speaking agent was excellent as was the local shop keeper,just remember english locks turn left and moroccan locks turn right,shop keeper will always help you.

Out of all the properties i looked at regarding Essaouria this one was the most helpful and honest. Laurey ( the owner ) called me prior to travelling out to Morocco and was an endless source of information and tips regarding the local area and the people.
The apartment itself was exactly as described with excellent facilities and easy access to everything you want in Essa.
Furthermore, his local concierge took great care of everything we needed...
All in all, a 5 star rating and we will be booking with this apartment again as we intend to go back to Essa many times..
