Meta apartment rental

We much preferred staying here in Meta than in Sorrento. Luigi was extremely helpful, the apartment was great, and our vacation here was delightful. Dont stay with all the touristsstay here with the Italians in Meta and enjoy the beach, the great cappuccino, restaurants, shops, etc.

As a family of 4, we enjoyed our stay in this clean and quiet apartment, which had lovely views from our windows and the roof terrace. The landlord was extremely helpful, both before and throughout our visit, arranging transport for us from Naples airport,recommending a local restaurant and also sightseeing opportunities. The bathroom and the kitchen area were adequately equipped and the single beds were comfortable, although the double sofa bed was rather less so. Backing onto a main road, surprisingly, we noticed no traffic noise, but felt negotiating access to the parking area might be tricky for the less experienced driver.. The location is ideally situated for tourists, just a few minutes walk from the train station and 10/15 minutes from the beach - 'though it's a steep walk back! We found Meta much less touristy and more 'Italian' than Sorrento, with several bars, restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance.

As a family of four, we really enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Meta. The apartment itself was clean, airy and comfortable with all the facilities that we needed and Luigi, the owner, was welcoming and very helpful. The house has been beautifully restored and benefits from a fantastic roof terrace with excellent views of the Bay of Naples as well as a shady peaceful garden. We liked the village which had shops for supplies and some good, inexpenisve restaurants. It was lively without being very touristy, and was sometimes noisy but never lost its charm for us. We got fit walking up and down to the beach (some parts sandy, some pebbles with free sections squeezed between the large paying sections) where the water was clean and clear but refreshed ourselves with ice creams and cakes on the way back! Meta is very well placed for visiting Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Positano and Naples using the efficient Circumvesuviana railway service which is only five minutes walk from the apartment. We also used local buses and boats from Sorrento for visits to Amalfi and Capri. We would recommend the apartment unreservedly and there is plenty to do to fill a fortnight's holiday."

L'accueil a été sympathique cependant nous sommes déçus pour plusieurs raisons: - l'équipement est vraiment minimal (peu de meubles et surtout il manque certains appareils électro-ménagers sèche-cheveux, planche et fer à repasser... et de plus pas d'adaptateur pour nos propres appareils) - le parc n' est qu' un jardin en friche inutilisable - à l'étage où nous étions la vue sur l'étendage des voisins d'en face etait imprenable. Globalement pour 750€, on s'attendait à mieux...

Le logement est tout neuf, bien equipé et meublé et d'une maniere generale parfait pour une famille de 4 personnes. Et en plus on a droit à la sympathie des propriétaires, Daniella et Luigi qui font le maximum pour rendre le séjour agreable aux clients. Non seulemnt nous avons passé de tres bonnes vacances à Meta di Sorrento mais en plus nous avons gagné des amis

SEJOUR du 7 au 14 AOUT 2004, Tres bon acceuil dans dans une villa entièrement restaurée, composée de plusieurs appartements. Dans un charmant village authentique "META di SORRENTO" à 5 minutes de SORRENTO. L'acceuil avec le propriétaire Mr CASTELLANO est conviviale et sérieuse. L'appartement est conforme au site internet, RENOVATION de qualité et de bon gout, la PROPRETE, CLIMATISATION, mobilier NEUF, literies confortables, équipement complet. BREF nous avons été ravi par cette location, la conviabilité de la Famille CASTELLANO,le village et les alentours SORRENTO, Côte AMALFITAINE, RAVELLO, POMPEI, NAPLES.... A CONSEILLER."

Un très bon appartement avec une belle vue, bien équipé dans une petite village calme et charmante. Situé tout proche de la gare de train, de l'arrêt de bus et de la plage. Idéal pour ceux qui voyagent en transport en commun. Un accueil trés sympatique
