The pictures on the rental site were completely accurate - however, the Lismore Cottage (the Granary) was even more beautiful in person - a beautiful place in a beautiful peaceful country setting, with a fantastic farmland valley view. Actually easier to find than we expected. It was clean, quite new, and very welcoming. Willie the owner was wonderful, kind and helpful. The cottage has EVERYTHING you would need. It was most charming to chat with Rosie the donkey, and feed her carrots. The sheep in the feilds were delightful. We walked the fields and saw swans in the river, how lovely! We were very happy there and would go back in a heartbeat. Great base to travel from. My husband and i give it an A+, 10/10 rating.

A lovely cottage with all that you need for your stay. Its location is ideal for both Waterford and County Cork and is close by to two lovely villages in Tallow and Lismore. Willie was a great host and you have great views across the valley.

The property is very well equipped and has everything in it that you need to enjoy your holiday. We received a friendly and informative welcome from the owner.
When staying here you definately need a car as it is quite far from the nearest villages.
