Had a wonderful time at Villa Megan. The villa and location lived up to our expectations and was indeed what you said in the write up. We took my father in low who is 89 years old, partially blind and on a wheel chair, he adapted well and quickly to villa Megan, and was easy to wheel himself about as the villa design is excellent for wheel chair users, this made our holiday so special to see him happy and he can’t wait to go back next year. Have no hesitation to recommend this villa to my family and friends. Thank for the lovely holiday.

Had a great time. Warm weather for March , early April , out of the 10 days only two days of rain and wind , enjoyed the villa and location very much and Darren was very helpful, will be back again next year . Thank you Carole for your prompt response to our queries .

We booked the Villa for a month over Jan and Feb , and I have to say that the villa lived up to its reputation and has everything you need and more. It was warm and sunny during the day with the temperature reaching as high as 20°C but chilly after dark , the villa has an adequate heating but you still need your cardigans and tweed after all it is Jan/ Feb time , we had severe wind for a day which brought the TV satellite Aerial down , this was fixed within 2 hours from phoning Darren the villa manager. We loved the Location as it was central to most major town and cities of Costa Blanca. Quesada town centre only a few minutes walk from the villa which has a good range of restaurants , bars and shops , there is open air markets almost every day nearby just ask Darren. Over all the holiday was good and the villa is surely good value for money , will recommend to friends and family . Thanks to the owners for phoning us before and after the holiday to make sure every thing was Ok ...Great.

We stayed in Villa Megan over Christmas and New year our first Christmas away from home , but the villa has charm which made us feel home from home and surprisingly the weather was fantastic and warm for December, the Average temp was 18°C during the day and 10°C in the evening and was sunny for most of our stay . Plenty of positives and in truth no negatives to report, excellent value for money . The villa had every thing possible for a comfortable stay , The location is quiet but within easy walking distance of an excellent supermarket, and a great selec tion of restaurants We didnt hire a car and managed just fine walking . The area is clean , safe and scenic . Anyone booking this property has made a great choice and I hope that they enjoy themselves as much as my family.

Managed to book the last week of the summer holidays and lucky as the villa is always so booked up early , and we can see why!. Reading the comments on line ,none being negative the villa has lived up to its reputation. What a fantastic and relaxing break away in the sun. The villa is perfect for chilling out and walking into town for meals and drinks. Thank you for providing such a great place to stay which is Hassle Free. See you again soon

Spent a week at this Villa in October 2012 along with a 4 year old. I now wished we booked two weeks. The villa is very well presented and caters for all ages. There was even a cot. Everything is provided for you from teas and coffees to a pram should you want to take a stroll. The pool is excellent (even in October and only a little cold), my son spent all day in it. Fully equipped kitchen and comfy sofas. Wifi would have been good but given the price Im certaintly not moaning. If you want a beach holiday then rent a car if going for Villa megan as the closest beach is a few miles away and well worth the visit. Supermarket is a 2 min walk away and bars and restaurants also short walk. I could say alot more but wont bore you. Essentially all positive and we will no doubt return in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. It was very well kitted out with everything we needed for the children (cot, high chair, toys, plastic plates, DVDs etc), everything was in good working order, and the accommodation was great for our family of six people . All amenities very near (don’t need a car), lovely town with lots of bars and restaurants - already booked for next holiday. Oh Daisy also wants to say that the villa was like home from home, everything that we needed was there - the pool was sparkling, excellent areas to sunbath, and very peaceful. Thank you for everything .

When we booked we had a very nice mail from the owners (and a phone call), explaining all about the villa, facilities etc. We were asked in the mail to provide flight/ arrival times so Darren (who looks after the villa) could meet us with the keys. When we arrived at the villa at the specified time, there was no one to be seen. After a quick call. we were asked to go to his bar and wait for him to return. We waited for nearly 2 hours with 3 very tired and grumpy children who have been up since 3am- not a good start. Thankfully, the villa and facilities made up for the bad start. It was well equiped and relatively clean. Overall, had a fun 2 weeks there with only a few complaints which were: The flooring by the pool is tiled, not with non slip tiles but they may as well be made of glass going by how slippery it was when it was wet. Needless to say, we had a lot of tears for the first couple of days from the kids slipping over. The non slip flooring which was available, was locked in the shed we were not allowed access to. We were just glad the were no serious injuries. We ended up putting a couple of sheets by the areas where we got in and out of the pool. The aircon in the livingroom was good but the main bedroom aircon was unusable during the night. It worked but the fan was extremely noisy so we had to switch it off before going to sleep. Our 2 year old was in the cot in our room so it got switched off fairly early as she couldnt sleep either, making the room very warm by the time we retired for the night. Finally, we had to pay a 100euro payment to Darren for a weekly pool clean, villa clean and linen change, this was regardless of the length of stay. We did not have either the villa clean or linen change and ended up having to do the cleaning and sheet washing ourselves. Ended up being a very expensive pool clean, to which we had to top the pool up ourselves a few times anyway. Dont get me wrong, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the location was brilliant. It was just a shame that these few points let it down and hope that the owners will consider this feedback and perhaps make some reviews.

Owner reply:
We are so pleased that you had a fun 2 weeks holiday at the villa, but are a very concerned about the areas you pin pointed and so have looked carefully at your areas of concern. The problems with check in seem to have arisen due to your early arrival time at the villa. We always allow our guests to check in early if the villa is empty, however when previous guests check out at 10am, there is no way the villa can be cleaned and prepared prior to the 3pm check in time. Darren rushed the cleaners to get you settled in to the villa by 1pm. The wait was unavoidable. Though we appreciate that you had a very early start and it is not easy with 3 young children.
As specified in our welcome email to you Non slip matting was available at the villa and you were advised to ask Darren if you needed it. I gather you did this and thankfully the children were happier and safer. We do not leave the matting out as it gets blown about by the strong winds. Access for guests to the shed never has and never will be available as it contains cleaning agents for the pool, tools and a few toys belonging to our children. The use of villa bed linen outside is not acceptable. The air con in the bedroom probably just needed re setting. Darren would have soon done this for you had you brought it to his attention on one of the times he visited you . He has done it this very morning.
The 100 euros charge is for cleaning the villa after you leave. There is no cleaning service whilst you are there, The villa is self catering It also covers the services of Darren whilst you are there. It covers help with any problems you may have with the villa and also personal problems such as loss of keys, help with medical care etc, to name but a few of the problems he has helped our previous guests with.
We thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. On reflection we have reviewed our welcome email to make it clearer to our guests.
Thank you for your booking and we hope to welcome you back to our home again soon.
Regards
Carole and Mahmoud

Villa Megan is a wonderful villa. The Villa is very well appointed and met all of our needs adequately. There were six people in our party and we all agreed that the villa was perfect. The full working kitchen was a treat for all of us. The Lounge Dining area provided a lovely setting for discussions, daily adventures or Satellite TV viewing . The outer patio dining area was perfect for early evening drinks , barbecues or just a respite from the mid day sizzling sun after sunbathing or swimming in the beautiful pool which we have done a lot.. The location of the Villa is just a few minute walk to either Quesada or Benjofar town centres with easy access to major roads for travelling either north to Alicante and Benidorm or south to La Manga , not to mention all of the beautiful beaches and towns located in close proximity. The town of Quesada is lovely and we enjoyed walking in the surrounding area. The restaurants were all great value for the money and served all types of food, not to mention awesome wines. Villa Megan proved to be a perfect home away from home.

From the minute we booked the villa, we have been impressed. lots of information provided by the owners, very clear directions - and the description on the website is very accurate. When we arrived, we couldn’t believe that we had found such a beautiful place to stay - the peace and quiet. The villa itself is beautifully equipped - just like a home. Its was spotless, had everything that we could possible need. The pool was bliss very clean and safe and well needed in the hot weather. We bought local wine, sat on the terrace and chilled out. Just a perfect place. Thank you

We went as a family of 6 to this villa and had a wonderful time . It is so well equipped and everything that is mentioned in the summary is there and lots more. It was still hot for September and the temp varied between pleasant 20°C at night to 28 °C in the afternoon. The pool/jacuzzi is superb, very clean and well maintained by Darren the villa manager who is available at any time to help with any problems that you may have, but we had none. The super market Mercaduna is only a few minutes’ walk from the villa , and has everything you need and their prices for food and drinks are very competitive. The two town centres of Benjofar and Quesada are only a few minutes’ walk from the villa and has several shops, bars and restaurants to suit every taste , both towns are quiet and trouble free. The only way to really appreciate what this villa has to offer is to book up and go see for yourself, we have only been back for 1 week and have already booked again for next summer!!!This villa is a credit to its owners, and is very well maintained by Darren.

It was our first time in renting a villa, rather than paying for a hotel and the Villa lived up to our expectations. We both loved the place, the Location which is central to all the Major attractions in Costa Blanca . We loved the peace and quiet. Using the Villa as a base, we explored Costa Blanca, one of the most beautiful costs in the world from Lamanga in the South to AlCoy in the North , Visiting major cities like Murcia, Guadlest, Calpe, Jevea , Alicante city and Benidorm . We only touched on a minor part of this beautiful cost , we both agreed that we needed more time. We felt the Villa offered us the opportunity to explore the area as well as having a peaceful day sitting around the pool to enjoy our surrounds. Our adventures in Costa Blanca would not have been as exciting had it not been for the Villa. We would certainly recommend to any of our friends and relations wishing to visit Spain. To those who will come after us, enjoy.

This was our fifth visit to the villa, and once again it was another great holiday, lots and lots of lovely memories, grandson was 1 when we started coming here in 2007.... Just back today after an enjoyable week away at Villa Megan. Chose the villa after reading all the reviews, none being negative! Villa lived upto its reputation and we had an excellent time here. Weather was perfect, high 30cs and the pool was used every day. Supermarket was a short walk away, everything available, town in the other direction for eating out. Owners contacted us the week before to confirm details and to answer any questions, very professional. Thanks to Darren who picked us up after arriving at Alicante and dro pped us back this morning, again, very professional and his family for cleanliness of the villa, a good team. No wifi in the villa which we knew but would definitely be a benefit but the crazy golf had free wifi so we could face time with family back at home which was nice.

Spent two weeks in roasting sunshine and stayed in this lovely home from home villa, had everything it said it did and much more like books, games, DVD’s , loungers etc.. The pool was fantastic especially with the extremely hot weather we had on our stay, no cardigans ever needed, it was also in a very quiet area even though it is only 5 minutes walk to Quesada town Centre, the position of all the patio areas around the villa are a sunbathers dream come true from the moment you get up to sunset you are basking in pure uninterrupted hot sunshine. Hire car is not essential unless you like to see local sites, all you need is just a few minutes drive away. Lots of tourist info in the villa. Nice! I will hopefully be booking another holiday at this villa at sometime in the near future.

Lovely clean Villa and Location with everything you need and more and as described in Villarenters Website , It was Really very hot for June more than we expected thanks god for the cool wonderful Pool , and the air conditioning system, so next time it will be April or May for us . The pool area could do with more than one Parasol to hide from the sun. All in all we had a good time and the villa matched up to its reputation.

Second holiday at Villamegan since last October and it reminded us why we booked it again ?, comfortable for six of us and our ages range from 15 to 75, it had every thing we needed and more , convenient for the shops and restaurants to dine at, the fantastic swimming pool and Jacuzzi , which I have to say did not go to waste as we had a great fun and cooling off, the overall cleanliness of not only the villa and the Pool but the whole area and town centre , It is the best villa we ever been for a relaxing family holiday with no hassle what’s so ever . The only thing we didn’t like about it is coming back leaving the villa and sun behind , back again soon . Thank you for the lovely holiday

We have just returned from spending 12 days at Villa Megan, we all had a fantastically relaxing time and thoroughly enjoyed staying in Quesada. The photos and description of the villa are spot on and were perfect for our needs as a family of 5. The villa has everything you need and more for a comfortable stay and Darren is exceptionally helpful. We didnt hire a car as we were happy to stay local although we did have a day trip to Benidorm for 10 euros per person, it was a long day (we have a toddler) but a worth while trip. I would recommend a car if you prefer to explore other areas and like the beach but a car really isnt essential. The supermarket, which is just a 2 min walk away has everything you could need for a self catering holiday and there are many (cheap) places to eat out just 5 minutes away. The locals are all very friendly (and mainly English) we were made to feel very welcome everywhere we went. We have recommended this villa to our friends and family and we would definitely love to visit again. I would especially like to thank Carole and Mahmoud for allowing us such a pleasant stay in their villa, it really is a wonderful home.

Just back after spending New Year at Villa Megan, the weather was just fantastic, it averaged a pleasant 22 C most of the week and it was Sunny. We didn’t need a car the villa is only a few minutes’ walk to Central Quesada and Benijofar, with everything you need. Wonderful - every last detail had been taken care of at the villa. We were very well looked after during our stay, and would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Megan to others. It has been a while since we last visited Spain, and were very pleasantly surprised at just how tranquil and beautiful this Location and yet a few minutes’ walk you can have a good night out. We can’t wait to go back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the villa and perfectly described Next time we will go when it is April or May and not December as pool was ice cold..!!!..but still could not rsist a dip with my 4 year old..!! Darren was very helpful. You most certainly need a car to get around(beach/historical sites etc) and as it is so cheap to hire(10 Euros/day no additional costs) it was worth it...the supermarket is 5min walk away and stock everything you will need ... If i am re-visiting the south east region again I will stay at Villa Megan as it had everything that we needed as a family and was very quiet... Thank you Darren, Carole and Mahmoud.

If i am re-visiting the south east region again I will stay at Villa Megan as it had everything that we needed as a family and was very quiet... Thank you Darren, Carole and Mahmoud.

Third return to Villa Megan for our 25th wedding anniversary. And it was absolutely brilliant. The weather was hot for October and the kids were in the pool every day. The new Mercadona supermarket is only a few minutes’ walk from the villa and has every type of food we get at home and more. We went back to visit Elche’s charming gardens about 20 minutes drive from the villa and not to forget the lovely cities of Alicante and Murica and their picturesque mountain villages . As you can see from other reviews that the location is good with shops, bars and restaurants a few minutes’ walk. We stayed in several villas in the past but since finding villa Megan we haven’t bothered looking elsewhere. Everyone enjoyed themselves, none of us wanted to leave. See you next year.

We just spent a wonderful week with our daughters and son (4 and 6 years) in this beautiful villa in Benijofar. The description and pictures on the website are very accurate. The villa is very spacious, light and has everything you might need. The beds are good. The garden and pool are very well maintained . The villa is very safe for young children and the garden and pool is completely fenced in. The location is great, the nearest supermarket is just 300 m down the road and its only a 5 min walk to town centre with a large selec tion of shops and restaurants, you don’t need a car, the villa manager dro pped us off and picked us up from the beautiful beaches of Torrevieja and Guardamar which are about 10 minutes drive from the villa, we didn’t have to worry about getting lost or not having a drink. I would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone and if you have a couple of properties in your shortlist but can’t decide which one to choose, choose this one!!

What can I say, the pictures looked excellent but when you get there it is even nicer!! As many people have said before, it has everything you could want . The Pool was absolutely lovely. You don’t need a car if you staying local. We had an amazing time with lots to do, even has games and cds. Out side dinning area was amazing and we ate there every meal and the barbeque is the best we have seen in a holiday villa. The surrounding area was quite and peaceful. A beautiful town centre with every thing you need a few minutes walk from the Villa. This Villa is an amazing value for Money. I would definitely live in Benijofar and would love to live somewhere like Villa Megan. Definitely will go back again and already told our friends about this beautiful Villa and Location.

villa megan was a very comfortable villa in a good location with everything you needed in the villa. The pool was great could not get the kids out of it.Quesada was just 10 mins walk and the mercadona right on the doorstep which was very conveniant.A car is not needed unless you want to explore further afield but the local tour operator did a day trip to benidorm for just 10 euros return per person which i thought was good value. All in all a great two weeks holiday and would recommend to anyone.

We were blown away with how beautiful villa Megan is and by its Location, but a car is essential to see the nearby attraction, beds were very comfortable, the pool was just fantastic, and we found the shopping trolley very useful. Shame there was every type of restaurants you could think of within a walking distance but traditional Spanish ones that we normally enjoy. Darren the Villa Manager was very helpful and the gardener was such a lovely Man, we enjoyed our stay at villa Megan, and has no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends and re book it again soon .

Just back from our third holiday at Villa Megan. The villa was as comfortable as ever, and had what we needed and more. Darren picked us from the airport on time in his mini bus , we find the airport pick up and dro p off offered by Darren convenient and good value for money as it would cost us more hiring Taxis , as a family of six we find it costly to hire a seven Seaters to fit us and our Luggage, this is why villa Megan is perfect for us because it is so near to the town Center with every thing you need for enjoyable holiday, The Kids stayed in the pool all day and sometimes having a mid night dip, loved the new barbecue. Definitely will be back and always recommend villa Megan to family and friends. Thank you yet again for this wonderful holiday.

The entire process from booking, to travel directions, to assistance from the owner to find information about local golf courses and to the general occupancy, was much smoother than past experience with other villa rentals. The villa is excellent and everything that was required was there in abundance.. The location and the villa itself are idyllic. Although being well situated from the perspective of a number of types of holiday, we were actually on a golfing holiday and had no problem using it as a base for the 3 different courses we played on during the week. Darren was always available to help with any queries and to give advice about the area, making us feel very much at home. Without any doubt, we recommend anyone to spend their holydays in villa Megan, for us it was a great pleasure!!

We have recently returned from a ten day stay at the lovely Villa Megan, hotel pick up service was excellent, thank you Darren! Darren also arranged transport for us to visit the local area- really appreciated! The villa was lovely, clean, and welcoming and everything we needed was provided! The shopping trolley came in very handy for our trips to the local supermarket Mercadona (so handy 5 mins walk away and had everything you needed) Also recommend a visit to the butchers shop (think it was called the chop shop?) recommend their lovely burgers and ribs for the bbq! Bbq was great addition and enjoyed eating outside on the patio area! Enjoyed having the swimming pool - even though slightly cool!!! managed to swim three times- really clean pool too! Patio furniture was good, plenty of sun loungers etc. Loved the freshly squeezed orange juice we had at breakfast courtesy of the villas orange tree in the garden- delicious!!! And the views from the sun terrace were lovely! Enjoyed the board games and cds that were provided also! We noted from previous reviews that some other guests recommend a hire car- we managed however without and enjoyed some excursions via arranging through Darren and used the via Rosa Viajes tours in Quesada by the petrol station! We were fortunate to visit when Torreveija had their festival- enjoyed local food and culture- dancing, horse parades etc. Will definately consider returning to villa megan and will recommend to friends and family. Thank you for making our holiday special.

A great base to explore the main cities and towns on Costa Blanca and there was a few beautiful attractions within a short driving distance from the villa , particularly the Guadalest valley , one of the most beautiful valleys in Spain with a lot to explore . The villa was very clean and pool, patio and barbecue areas are spacious and the pool is a good size. Quiet location perfect for relaxing. Parks, shopping all very accessible. Just returned from a lovely holiday in Villa Megan. The villa is very homely and comfortable, modern and well equipped .. There was 4 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 4, enough room for us all not to feel over crowed. The pick up at the airport went well even though we were delayed by 1 hr and the return to the airport was also on time. Quasada was a little quiet with it being bank holiday, but we enjoyed the Mini Golf Bar and Malc and the cook Leon were lovely. Mercardo Supermarket about a 5 minute stroll from the villa is excellent, take the shopping trolley thats provided. The boiler gave up while we were there but Carole and Mahmoud had a new one installed asap. Thanks Rashai and Ella for your kindness and hospitality too. We would hire a car on another visit so we could go further afield.

But you can also find Flamenco dancers one night with country and western the next. There was also high chair , cot and sterliser if needed. In the streets between The Rambla and Avenida de Frederico Soto you will find a number of individually owned shops , El Corte Ingles, the largest department store chain in Spain intermingled with café bars and restaurants. Another great holiday at Villa Megan …A comfortable home from home. Enjoyed a day trip to Tabarka Island, 14 Euros on the ferry from Santa Pola (15 minutes drive from villa Megan ) , Parking in the Marina car park is 3 Euros for 8 hours . Snorkels are a must as you can swim with the fishes and there are plenty of them. We took a picnic with us, but there are some restaurants on the island . Disappointed that the new supermarket at the end of the street isn’t opened yet, but it will be by the time we come again.

Hi Sarah
Glad you enjoyed your holiday. Thank you for your continued custom, It is great to have guests return. Yes the new supermarket will be so useful , I noticed that there is a lovely little play park built next door to it too, ideal for younger children . The restaurant over the main road is new a wok Chinese restaurant which I think will be another advantage to the area. All in All even more facilities for our guests and for us. The weather was fantastic. The villa, pool and gardens were well maintained by the villa management team. We are seriously looking at returning soon. And we highly recommended Villa Megan for friends and family..

We had a lovely holiday , the pool was fantastic , villa was very comfortable for 5 of us and it has every thing you need , we had no problems what so ever , didn’t want to leave , Darren the villa manager was helpful so was the owners, you will not be disappointed with this villa or location , I am already looking to book it for next July. They just building a large supermarket a few minutes walk from the villa which will be handy for your shopping and much better prices than the smaller ones nearby .

This is our fifth holiday in Villa Megan and thoroughly enjoyed it my grandchildren now refer to it as "our house in Spain". The Villa is very comfortable and really does feel like "home from home". You can’t beat villa Megan and its location for a fantastic relaxing holiday, the patio, garden and pool areas are gorgeous (just gets better and better) and so to sit in especially at night when the pool is lit up you can’t resist a midnight dip. The weather was absolutely fantastic for early May and we didn’t have one single rain dro p. We keep discovering every year new attractions and beautiful places to visit , The Gallinera Valley is one of the loveliest of valleys with its blossomed almond and cherry trees is only 60 minutes drive from the villa just north of Banidorm , The owners and villa Manger kept in touch with us the night before and the morning of our flight so they can reschedule our picking up time from Murcia airport in case it was disrupted by the Ash cloud , Thank you very much for looking after us very well and look forward to go back in September .

Home to Home is how I would describe Villa Megan. Everything you need plus more. Had a great week in the sun in peaceful surroundings. The temperature averaged 22 C in early April and this was really pleasant, we rented a car from the airport, I would say that a car is not essential for your stay but it gave us great flexibility enabling us to travel around the area. There are some beautiful places to visit in Costa Blanca, Benidorm was 60 minutes drive from the Villa, and the beautiful Gallinera Valley is 90 minutes drive. . Everything you could wish for is within 10 minutes walk there are lots of restaurants and pubs close by but not close enough to interfere with your stay. This villa and location are certainly value for money. I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation and will visit again soon.

Carole and Mahmoud were very helpful and quick at dealing with any queries or questions prior to the holiday. They were also very generous on our arrival. Darren the villa manager was also very helpful and gave us plenty of useful information about the surrounding area and restaurants and was on hand day or night if required. The villa was in great condition, very clean and tidy with all the the mod cons youd require for a hassle free stay. The villa again lived up to its reviews and write ups, The pool as always spick and span and so inviting to swim day or night specially when it is fully lit up. The nightlife in Quesada town centre which a few minutes walk from the villa, improved since I was there last, more quality bistros, restaurants, cafés and beautiful little shops and we even discovered small water and nature parks only 20 minutes walk from the villa. This villa and location never cease to impress. I have always recommended villa Megan to family and friend and more so now than before... Another fantastic holiday in Villa Megan. Even though this is our 4th time in the villa, but it never cease to amaze, the cleanness, the simplicity and the evermore improving utilities. Tried the newly build stone barbeque, which is big enough to barbeque all the food at the same time, the neighbours are so friendly and not to forget the villa manager Darren and his wife Claire for keeping the villa and its garden and pool absolutely in order. This villa is real value for money and home from home. The weather was lovely and hot for September. The whole area is so clean, nice and delightful and the fact that every thing you need is within a walking distance from the villa makes it a relaxing holiday. Can’t wait to go back. We holidayed as a family covering 3 generations, and would highly recommend the Villa Megan. The villa was exactly as described, it is a really lovely property. The villa itself is situated on a very quiet and friendly road On our arrival we were met by Darren as promised, the house was spotlessly clean with everything you need provided for your arrival Its in an ideal location, within easy walking distance to the bars, shops and restaurants of Ciudad Quesada. A short 5 min drive takes you to the typically Spanish town of Benjifor, with the huge sandy beaches of Guardamar only 10mins or so by car We would definatley stay again, our thanks to the owner Mahmoud for his contact before we travelled and indeed after our return to check all was OK. Also to Darren whilst we were away not least for his immaculate pool cleaning, certainly one of the cleanest pools we have had of many villa holidays

The villa is first class clean and comfortable and it has all the facilities you need for a self catering holiday. The villa is 3 minutes from the A-7 and it took us 30 minutes to arrive to it from Alicante airport. The Villa is located in an exclusive and peaceful part of Benijofar but only 7 minutes walk to Quesada town centre, an elegant town centre with all the conveniences you need if you don’t have a car as mentioned in the Villa write up. Villa Manager was on the Ball from our arrived until we left and the Neighbours were very friendly. It was home from home. Weather was just the thing, sunny and temp average was 20C, brilliant for early March. As you walk to Quesada arches (7 minutes from villa) there is a petrol station opposite to it is Rosa Tour , in which you can book long trips and excursions , the staff speak very good English, we booked a lovely 2 days one night trip to Granada’s Alhambra palace exclusive with a 4 star hotel ( Hotel Alixares , which is 200 yards from the fortress entrance ). The Bus picked us up from the arches and dro pped us back and we had the most enjoyable time ever and it was good value for money). It pays to book villas like Villa megan which is located 32 km form the borders of Andalusia with all of its beautiful cities and towns and its scenic Sierra Nevada mount range and also 20/30 minutes drive from picturesque cities such as Elche , Murcia and Alicante and 10 minutes drive from the pretty sea resorts of Torrevieja and Guardamar not forgetting the 45 minutes drive to Benidorm. The pool had internal lights and we swam till mid night. The villa is located in a nice suburb with a few minutes walk to Quesada centre with its charming bars and restaurants to suite all tastes and surprisingly reasonably priced. We hired a car locally (which you don’t need most of the time). We went as a family of 6 to this villa and had one of the best holidays that we have ever had all together! It is so well equipped.Everything that is mentioned in the summary is there and lots more, even down to soft toys for children,to lots of easy listening cds, to games and cards for adults/children to play with. The pool/jacuzzi is superb, very clean and well maintained by Darren the villa manager who is available at any time to help with any problems that you may have, although we had none but did call on him a few times for a lift to the local supermarket!!!!There are fruit trees in the garden and when we were there in July/August we were lucky enough to be able to pick oranges straight off the tree and squeeze them in the juicer!! The reviews do not really give this property justice, the only way to really appreciate what this villa has to offer is to book up and go see for yourself,we have only been back for 1 week and have already booked again for next summer!!!This villa is a credit to its owners, and is very well maintained by Darren.

Excellent holiday. Lovely villa good location. Our first holiday with 4 month old baby villa didnt disappoint clean & well laid out. Large patio excellent for keeping baby in shade. Pool had sun all day lovely as I like to sunbathe. Villa manager very helpful. Only short walk to the centre of Quesada bars/restaurants plenty to choose from.

We had a very good holiday and you have a lovely villa. Clean, well laid out and appointed. In summer, when you can use patio and the pool it will be super. The urbanisation is very select, safe and quiet. The walk to the centre of Quesada only takes a few minutes and and there are several bars/restaurants to suite all tastes. The local golf course, [we had 6 games] is only 10 minutes away over the hill [if you do not get lost] The beaches are never far away with a multitude of eating places. The roads are very good, once you have mastered their sign posts. [Once it has indicated a town, keep going straight ahead until it tells you to turn off.] You will like this villa and the area.

The area is beautiful and the nearby Quesada town centre is lively all day. The villa is comfortable and elegant, specially the sun terrace, Patio and the pool /Jacuzzi. The villa is near one of the major golf courses in Costa Blanca, I have enjoyed that very much. Will go back soon.

I booked this Villa for two weeks in April 2007, for five of us .I heard about this Villa through a friend of my family, on arrival we were met at Alicante airport by the villa manger and it took 25 minutes to arrive at the Villa. As we arrived on a Public holiday in Spain and all the nearby supermarkets were closed, we found the Welcome pack of tea; coffee, bread and other essentials we ordered before arrival were a godsend. As a disabled person I had no problems using my wheel chair a round the place. We had a good stay at Villa and it far exceeds the photos which do not do it complete justice, Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The kids loved the pool and Jacuzzi, and were in there all the time. Even at night because it has lights. The villa is well equipped and suitable for children and people with mobility problems. . There are loads more that I could say but would take forever putting it down. Would and will definitely come back to Villa Megan again... we had a great time..."
