A delightfully secluded, retreat situated in its own 3 acres of beautifully gardens and offering breathtaking sea/mountain views, 7m x 5m swimming pool (1.4m in depth), fantastic terrace view for relaxing with a cool drink and good book or for watching a dramatic sunset, stylish accommodation and complete privacy.
The cottage is surrounded by pine trees on the hillside looking down over the village and Mediterranean with Rhodes. It is in a quiet village setting but within easy reach of all amenities.
Selen Cottage is situated in Faralya Village, between Kabak Cove and Butterfly Valley. Our villa is close to the famous Oludeniz Lagoon-Hisarönü which offers a selection of restaurants, nightlife, shops and other services as well. Cottage is located on the ‘Lycian Way’, is one of the best places for trekking , cliff diving, mountain climbing, cannoning (Dalaman River), safari and mountain biking.
It is so close to the activity centers of scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, paragliding, rafting and boat trips.
Walkers will certainly be in their element at Selen Cottage, for there is excellent terrain all around. Stretches of the famous "Lycian Way" can be reached from here, and another highlight is the breathtaking Butterfly Valley - those undertaking the two- hour walk to the base of the valley will be rewarded with the opportunity to swim at one of the region's most beautiful beaches, which can only be reached on foot or by boat.
Car is considered essential when renting this property.

Accommodation
The whole house is light, airy, spacious and beautifully furnished.
There is a large, open plan, kitchen, dining area with high, wooden, vaulted ceilings for coolness. The villa is situated some way above sea level and receives plenty of through breeze in the summer months. However, fans are provided in the bedrooms for guests to use.
The kitchen is well equipped with dining table, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster and an array of pots, pans and cooking implements.
Although final cleaning is included in our prices, we ask travellers to ensure that the kitchen is tidy on departure and all rubbish disposed of.
In the living area there are two traditional style sofas (with full size pull out double bed). The sofa itself has also been used to sleep an additional child. Access to the front and pool terraces is possible through living area and bedrooms. A TV and CD player are provided for guests to use.
The master bedroom has one double bed, which can be separated to make single beds, bedside tables, large wardrobe, mirror all in painted white wood and door leading to a terrace, again with fantastic views. An iron and hairdryer are available for guests to use.
Next to the master bedroom and second bedroom is a large white tiled bathroom, with shower and wc.
The second bedroom is delightfully furnished with two single beds, a bedside table, large wardrobe and mirror.
The third bedroom is delightfully furnished with two single beds, a bedside table, large wardrobe and mirror. There is access to the terrace as well.
Next to third bedroom is a shower room, with shower, sink and wc.

Outside
There is a terrace and seating area from which to admire the lovely views. Garden furniture includes tables, chairs, sun beds and umbrellas. There is also a small bbq.
The 7m x 5m swimming pool has its own beautiful stone terrace and catches the sun all day. It’s wonderful to sit here in the evenings sipping your wine looking out over the view and watching as the bats swoop down over the pool. Parents of small children should note that the pool is 1.4m in depth and does not have a shallow end.
The pool terrace is the perfect place for sun downers as you watch the sun slip over the sea.
There is a terrace which runs all the way round the house offering opportunities to find shady spots during the day.
