The property was comfortable, clean and well-presented. The view from the bedroom window was amazing over the back garden of the villa where the swimming pool was and behind we had the view of the sea and the hills. The swimming pool was very clean throughout the week we were there and had a pool shower (decorated with Azulejo tiles).
Marly was an attentive but discrete host, who made sure the fridge was stocked with a few essentials before we arrived and allowed us to use fresh lemons from the tree!
The two of us had a very enjoyable week here and would recommend it whether you are after a place to relax or a base for exploring the Algarve by car.

lovely apartment, very spacious and in lovely surroundings Both the apartment, pool and garden always immaculate. Close to the marina and the old town centre with lots of restaurants and bars.
Peter and Marly were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome.
definetly recommend trying the cerro grande restaurant at the top of the road on the way to town...one of the nicest meals we had and fab view!

Marly and Peter were wonderful hosts not at all intrusive but made sure we always had everything we needed. When we arrived, the fridge was stocked with breakfast as well as a bottle wine, beer and water - a lovely welcome gesture. The property is beautiful, clean, has wonderful views and is in a great location. The town is a 15 minute walk away - perfect! There is no noise at the flat but there are plenty of bars and restaurants within easy reach. Thank you for a lovely relaxing holiday!

Returned home after two fantastic weeks in the villa, Marly and Pete made us welcome from the minute we arrived with beer, wine and even breakfast in the fridge. The appartment was spotless and Marly made sure we needed for nothing, the pool area was a sun trap and peaceful with the pool again clean and inviting. Breakfast under the palm trees my ideal way to start the day.
The villa is a good 10 mins walk into town so you get the best of both worlds peace and quiet at the villa with the lively bars and restaurants only a short walk away cant wait to return.

A warm and friendly welcome from mali. Well kept and well maintained accomodation and pool. A nice walk 5-10 mins and your in town. Mali (Marly) is great for local advice, shopping etc. The bedroom was a bit hot and no air con, but there was a ceiling fan that gave some respite, but not much overall so we purchased a desktop fan which did the trick, (we left it there). Overall it was a really good relaxing holiday, we had the pool to ourselves most of the time, Mali was in daily, cleaning, sheets were changed about every 3rd day. A good get away from it all holiday, but its still all there if you want it (if you know what I mean). We will definately go back!.

Marly is an excellent and charming host who cant do enough for you. She keeps the whole place spotlessly clean with the bedding and towels changed regularly.
We would definitely revisit.

Fantastic accommodation and a very warm welcome by the host - even beers and food in the fridge for our arrival at 10pm in the evening!! Since the other apartment was not booked we had the pool to ourselves which was ideal and a welcome relief to the heat. Very clean with bedding etc changed half way through the week and the apartment cleaned pretty much daily. Location perfect for the "Old Town" - 5 mins walk to supermarket and 10/15mins walk to the beach and main Old town centre (we didnt hire a car). The new town and "strip" is about 2km east from the old town. The bedroom can get a little warm at times as theres no A/C but the fan does a reasonable job of managing temps. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone, great value for money and a very friendly hostess.

This was our honeymoon and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 2 weeks. Marly kept the place spotlessly clean and it felt like it was a home away from home. The pool was lovely and a great place to relax and sunbake. The town where all the shops, cafes and beach were only a short 10/15 min scenic walk away, and great if you need to burn off a few calories! The supermarket 5 mins away was also very handy. There is a little construction going on in the area but thank goodness there is no noise. The villa is tucked away in a nice quiet area so if you want to get away from it all, yet have the life of the town only a short stroll away, this place is perfect. The only thing we missed was a balcony, but then if we walked around to the pool it was the same sort of thing. Marly and Vasili looked after us and made sure we had everything, thanks guys - you were great!

We arrived late at the proprty due to a very delayed flight but we were made very welcome and were very pleased to see that the fridge was stocked and there was even a cold beer.
The standard of the apartment was excellent and the cleanliness and almost daily towel change etc.. was of hotel standard.
Fully recommend this property.

THis is a lovely Villa and we were very happy with it although it would definitely have been a little claustrophobic with 3 or 4 people for the whole time. Marly (the occupant of the big house) looked after us extremely well and having service every other day was defintiely a bonus for us. The location was good, v close to the Marina and nicely private. We didn't have to share the pool at all whilst we were there and that was also a bonus. There is presently some development work going on just to the left of the Villa which will be wonderful when it is finished, but it can be a little noisy in the mornings with the windows open as there is no a/c. We had a lovely time there and would definitey recommend it for a leisurely, poolside, do-nothing time. Thanks again to Marly for looking after us!

We had an excellent stay in a wonderful property. We coudl not have been better looked after or made to feel more welcome. I sincerely hope we will be able to use this property again.
In the short time we were there the owner became more of a friend and put herslef out a great deal in order to support us and make our stay as comfortable as possible.
I would certainly recommend to any of my friends, but hope it does not get too booked up when we want to go again!
Thenk you for a wonderful time.

The property was nice and the service on site was excellent. It is in a nice quiet location with a walk of about 15mins to the main square in the old town. The pool was a bit small and may be crowded when shared. There is no balcony on the top floor apartment which was a bit annoying.

One of the best holidays we've had for quality and cleanliness. Marly immediately made you feel like you were old friends she was so helpful and yet not intrusive. The small things like the food on arrival and the wine and beer in the fridge made all the difference after a long day of travelling. The apartment was very clean and well equiped with everything you could need, a definate home from home. The pool was super, a great way to cool down and relax in the afternoon. We would definately hire a car next time although you dont need one to get into the old town or the nearest bar or supermarket but it would be nice to explore more next time, plus plenty room for parking at the villa. The area around the villa is very quiet and exclusive and you can sit outside till late at night with no disturbance except the noise of crickets. This was a super holiday and we were very sad to leave. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing holiday with good bars and entertainment closeby. We could not find fault with anything about this holiday the weather in May was unusually hot for the time of year and we will definately come back again . Thanks again to Marly for everything x

The apartment was lovely and a fantastic base for exploring the Algarve. We spent a lot of time in the apartment as the weather was unfortunately not that great when we went (early November), and we felt perfectly at home and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better hostess as Marly attended our every need and was very helpful. It was a nice touch to arrive and find things like bread, milk, basket of fruit, water, beer and even a bottle of wine awaiting us. The pool is nice and very clean and its a great place to relax and read, although the water is definitely a bit nippy in November, even on sunny days! Albufeira Old Town is within walking distance, between 10-20 minutes depending on how energetic you're feeling - the walk home is up-hill and can be a slog if you've been walking round all day! We hired a car and would recommend doing so to access the more secluded beaches such as Gale or Castelo. We would also highly recommend the Castello do Bispo restuarant down by the marina which you can see from the apartment; although its perhaps a little more expensive than restaurants in town it's certainly worth the extra couple of euros. The apartment is excellent value for money and we would recommend it to anyone looking for some quality accommodation for their holiday in the Algarve.

The property was ideal for our purposes in that we had an extremely relaxed, quiet and peacefiul time. The apartment is well equipped and Marly is the perfect hostess; she attends to your every need but is not in the least intrusive. Quite a skill. The pool was a delight and the privacy the pool area affords is ideal if you are a sun worshipper or just like to sit and read whilst enjoying the excellent climate.
A car is not essential if you are reasonably mobile and the variety of first rate restaurants in the old town means you can eat at a different place every night! The new Marina area just below thw apartment is worth a visit; the Novo Italia does a particularly good daytime menu including very good ice creams.
We will certainly recommend this property to our friends.

Based on the earlier experience from different locations (not in Portugal though) this was a fresh surprice. Maybe partly because house seems to be quite new but also in other respect. Everything was clean and nice.
Small details like little food in the fridge upon arrival, new sheets & towels in the middle of the week, daily cleaning and friendly service made difference.
Would for sure recommend this to others,

Upon arrival at the villa we were very impressed with everything we saw. The view to the sea from the bedroom window was superb. The whole apartment was spacious and very clean. It was also well equipped, and very exclusive. We recommend that you hire a car as there is ample space to park outside the villa (something which we were relieved about when we arrived - nothing worse than paying for parking, or parking a mile away from here you need to be!!) The front garden is a great place to have any meal, and relax with a glass of wine at night. The pool is excellent, and very well maintained. Although it only appears small, it is great - large enough to swim widths and deep enough to dive / jump / fool around. (be warned it is also very cold in April!!! - but this is great as the poolside is a good sun - trap, with sunshine throughout the day). I understand since returning home, and checking the website that the barbeque is available for use. Wish we had enough time to try this out as it would have been a great night - bbq is built in and looks like a chimney - its great.
The hosts were great. Although they live in the main part of the villa they are not intrusive, and make the villa seem like it is your own home. Thank you for the flowers, bottle of wine, bottles of drinking water and cans of beer that were supplied ready for our stay. It was a very welcoming gesture.
The villa's location is also really good. It is set around many more exclusive villas, and only a 15 minute walk into old - town albufeira, where there is a beautiful beach and loads of shops / restaurants.
We definately hope to stay here again in the future.

Marly is indeed the perfect hostess. We were immediately made to feel at home from arriving at the airport. The apartment is clean and lovely. You get your money's worth and more...
Location and views from the apartment you just couldn't fault, not smack bang in the middle but not too far away to walk which is what we wanted having a 2 year old with us. Definately a 10/10. I think we'll be returning next year with friends. We would recommend this place to anyone.

The best accomodation we have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need and Marly was a perfect host. Very peaceful location but only a 5 minute walk to nearest bar and supermarket.

We had a great holiday here. The owner is lovely and pops in every day to clean and tidy and change towels! She is very friendly. She lives on the property but it does feel like your own. You share the pool with the people in the flat below. The road outside is noisy but you dont hear it at night. It is very hot at night and there was no aircon/broken fan in the bedroom, this was the only downside. The villa is a 15 minute walk from the town centre and beach with small hills to climb both ways! I advise that you rent a car unless you want to get fit! The villa itself is clean and nice with a big bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a barbeque. Good value for money and we would definietly recommend it to our friends.
