Maenam villa rental

Everything was perfect, including the staff, special thanks to Mr. Ray and Kun Aa. Quiet, peaceful place, not far from the main road, 15 minutes walk, get up early and visit the morning market (open from 5 am to 9 am), which is on Soi 6, fresh fruits and seafood are guaranteed.The only thing I was not happy, there is no air conditioning in the living room,when you cook or watch TV ,TOO HOT! Sure to try the massage, Kun Aa recomended us one very good woman (sorry can not remember her name) she will come to your villa for reasonable price.

We stayed in the villa in March 2012. The weather was perfect and all the conditions were ideal. Id recommend this villa to all my friends as Im sure they wont regret. We were there only for one week and next year we are planning to come and stay at least 15 days. Id like to add that villa is ideal for a big family too, as there are 3 bedrooms, we used only one, swimming pool is very clean all the time, you will not even have desire to go to the beach after such perfect conditions in the pool. Kitchen is well equipped so you can cook whatever you want. wifi is good , you can download any pictures you take there and share with your family in a moment. Finally Id like to appreciate staff especially Ray, as without their warm attitude and hospitality our stay wouldnt be so amazing. Many thanks for all you do! Hope to see you soon!

We were very happy with the property and the management of Samram Gardens. Ray and Stuart are very friendly and are always there to help if you need it. The children loved the pool and we liked that you get a real feel for Koh Samui on the walk from the main road down to the complex. We wished that there were cushions on the sunloungers and sometimes there were lots of ants but otherwise we were glad that we choose this complex.. Thank you for a great stay. The Murphys.

We lived our dream for a whole week – it was pure bliss after visiting Dubai, Hong Kong and Bangkok. Everything was perfect. Stuart ensured we had everything we needed (airport pickups, welcome pack, clean linen and towels, jeep waiting at the door). We couldn’t fault it and has spoilt us for anywhere else! We have been to Hawaii, Australia, Bali before but none compared to Koh Samui. Maenam is def the best resort and we loved the cheap wining and dining, the friendliness of the locals and I even treated myself to some Prada glasses in Chaweng. All in all a perfect holiday which we didn’t want to end. Again, thanks to you and Stuart for all your help. We had a fabulous stay in Samui and the Baan Tan Ta Wan villa. The pool & gardens and jeep made the holiday. I can’t think of any negative comments everything was perfect. The rooms were very comfortable, loved the double sink in the en suite, loved having the kitchen equipment the use of the laundry room, if anything I would suggest more sun loungers. The weather was perfect, loved the restaurants, beach and easy way of life can you tell we’re hooked and would love to return one day. We also appreciated the airport pick up. All our flights were on time and can’t believe we are back in cold wet and windy Newcastle. Many thanks and hope to see you again. Will certainly recommend the villa to anyone. The car rental was a great idea and it all worked out well. I was poorly for the last few days then jet lagged ++ but it was a wonderful holiday. I am only too happy to share my lovely holiday experience at the Baan Tan Ta Wan villa, it was perfect for me and my party as it combined luxury, freedom and privacy . I would certainly recommend it and would definitely go back! Nigel & Harjote Cropley (Dubai – UAE) Feb 10th 2009 “the villa was just perfect” We stayed in Samran Gardens for two weeks in August 2009 on our first visit to Samui. We have two young children aged 5 and 7 and obviously were slightly apprehensive about what the villa would be like. Well we need not have worried because for us the villa was just perfect. The pool was an adequate size but was one depth – ideally the kids need to be able to swim or will need rubber rings etc. The villa had everything we needed – a fully equipped kitchen which we didn’t really use except for breakfast. The garden was beautifully kept as was the pool. The kids enjoyed the DVD player and the bathrooms were all great. The slight problems we had, the pool filter went, were fixed virtually immediately. This is largely due to Stuart who lives next door and managers the site. He is extremely helpful and efficient. Although there are a number of villas you have total privacy and the whole estate if beautifully kept. The small gym is great for a quick workout but quite warm as there is no ac. The drive up to Samran gardens is about a mile up a small concrete road, from the main road, past a few local houses this is fine but you do really need your own transport. The location though is very good Fisherman’s Village a 15min drive and the local beach which is excellent is about a 5 min drive. The cleaning service and bed changing service was good and took place every 4 days. Overall we could not fault our stay we had an excellent time. We thoroughly enjoy the excellent accommodation Baan Tan Ta Wan provides and the personal service to match. We particularly enjoy the quiet garden which is a great place to relax and, of course the pool, to cool down! In doing so, we already noticed how friendly and quick our enquiries were answered. That is one of the reasons that we decided to book at Samran Gardens. Our expectations were even exceeded on arrival. A bus with a driver holing a sign with our names was waiting for us at the airport. When we arrived at the house, everything was waiting for us, even the ordered groceries for our breakfast – just great! It is highly recommended to rent a car, since the site is luckily far enough away from the main road, and therefore taxis are hard to get. The big supermarkets that nearly offer anything can be reached within 15 minutes by car. The site is very well looked after and is being managed by Stuart and his team in an excellent way. Gardening service and pool maintenance are included, as well as house cleaning and laundry service every three days. We, two adults and two little kids, really enjoyed the pool and garden right in front of our house. The same goes for the food. The variety of restaurants is very big. Stuart recommended a few good places. Nevertheless, with children it is the easiest and most comfortable to eat at home. Everybody gets to help - then it can even be a lot of fun! For us, it’s the best way to spend a family holiday. Better than in a hotel because we had much more space, it was like being at home and we could plan our day according to our wishes. Stuart and his wife are laying the foundations for a great holiday. However, it is recommended to have a basic knowledge of English.

Great villa in a lovely location in Samui, the management company was a great help also during my stay. Would love to stay again.

A quiet nice villa with a beautiful garden, situated a bit off road in djungle like surroundings. It was nice getting away from the busy commercial streets, though! A bit tricky to find the property from the description, especially where you get off the main road. Would be nice to do an updat e for guests who arrive on their own, like we did. You definitely need a car to get around. Mae Nam beach is a quiet beach some 10 min drive from the villa where you really can relax under the palm trees and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We found a restaurant with ok thai food with really competitive prices, and if you can accept and smile at the almost non existant service skills of the staff, your wallet and stomach will be happy to spend time there. The villa itself is really a basic one, but met our needs. A surprisingly cooling breeze in the area made it possible to spend time in the backyard in the pool. A smoothly running booking system and a quick and friendly check in and out system made the stay worthwile indeed.

A fantastic villa with all the space and furnishings that you would expect with a luxury development such as this. Quiet and peacful location ideal for relaxing by the pool or sunbathing but also very convenient for Maenam beach resort and within short drive of Chaweng resort.
I enjoyed a great holiday in Tan Ta Wan villa, the villa quality was excellent and it was very good value for money. I would recommend it to anyone.
