We had a wonderful two weeks at this property. The villas was exactly as descriped.
Duarte was very helpful and also cheerful.
Although the villas stated that a car was not essential we found that a car would have been useful as it was at the top of a steep hill!
Thoroughly enjoyed two weeks and highly recommened.

This was our second visit to this villa. We noted that the property was much cleaner than last year. Duarte makes a splendid effort to keep the pool and garden area clean and tidy and was very helpful with a couple of queries we had for local services. It was good that the tv/dvd system worked this year (unlike last). Everything else was as expected (thats why we returned to this villa!) However, the price rise was a bit steep. The owners might consider leaving some local information for future guests eg taxi, car hire, restaurants, bus services and a comments book for guests. Also we think that some maintenance to the property outside is needed but it doesnt detract from a lovely visit and we will certainly consider returning.

We had a lovely time at this villa but would have benefited from having a car, the villa being situated a little way out of Machico up a hill.The villa was spacious, well furnished and equipped, although the running machine was not functioning during our stay.

We found the villa very clean and tidy and suited our needs.The children loved the pool and there was plenty of room to chill and relax.
This villa was a great base to tour this very beautiful island and we recommend it and will be returning to Maderia.

Beautiful villa with lovely views. Excellent for a family with young children with plenty to do. Machico is pretty and has a lovely beach which is only a 10 minute drive from the villa. Duarte was very helpful. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a fantastic stay in this beautiful villa, location was perfect, peaceful yet near to all ameneties, pool fabulous and plenty of space for all! Wll definitley be returning for another stay!!!

This is by far the most comfortable and luxurious villa we have ever stayed in - and thew views are extraordinary.
All amenities are close to hand and the villa manager is very helpful
