Before arriving we thought the photos were probably tarted up a bit to make the place look better than it is. They arent and the place is terrific. Clare, the owner, lives next to the villa and could not have been more thoughtful about our stay - Clare was genuinely concerned that we have a good time and took the trouble to drive us around the area on the first day. The pool and villa were clean, in a good state of repair and perfect for our needs. The cook, Miss Monica was excellent and we all put on some weight as a result. We ate out on several days as well and enjoyed the food where-ever we went.
We will go back to Sevilla Villa and recommend it to anyone wanting a villa in the Runaway Bay area. By the way, whilst Runaway Bay itself doesnt have a great deal going on (I like that), it is ideally located for attractions to the East and to the West. Its easy to visit Mo Bay and Ochi. Reliable and reasonable taxis are located nearby (just down the road) and for bigger parties Claire has an arrangement with a small bus with a driver (Everton) that you can hire separately. Claire provided a mobile phone with the key contacts on it. We also hired a car and this worked out really well. There is a golf-course at the bottom of the garden, a really beautiful little beach 15 - 20 minutes walk away (the walk is safe and simple), a modern gym within walking distance (20 mins) and a super beach bar/restaurant a couple of miles away, called Sharkies, where we drank and ate several times and the boys learnt to dive. We had a really great time.

I have to start by saying thank you soooo much Clare for you hospitality and never leaving us in the cold. She was the perfect hostess and was available at any hour even taking me to the store, ATM, even as far as driving me to the beach so I knew how to get there. Clares home is perfect updat ed and comfortable. Paulette and Rollins do a great job. Rollins thanks for the mangos and especially the roasted breadfruit and late night treat treats. Ms. Monica the food was delish. One thing if you have children under 7 you really have to watch them with the pool,(wer braught 4 of ours) its very close to the quarters. I would definitely stay there again. PS I found them on www.trip advisor.com. Clare got back to me the same night that I requested availability which was needed the next afternoon and she was more than able to oblige with extreme short notice. Thank you. Jasmine GA. USA

“The villa is amazing! The house is made around the pool which makes it very convenient for swimmers and non-swimmers. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 around the pool. Rooms have air-conditioning and the villa is tastefully done up. There is also wifi and TV’s in the villa. Miss Monica the cook is a delightful woman and Ms Clare, the owner of the villa is very helpful. Ms Clare helps you figure out groceries and transportation which makes the stay very relaxing. The villa is a 10 minute walk to the beach, through a golf course. 5 minutes walk from the beach along the water is a private beach! We went as a group of 9 and had the most amazing week. Would definitely recommend this villa to another group. It is perfect for couples, friends and even college students!” Kimaya- Yale University USA
“This villa is situated in a wonderful elevated position overlooking the golf course with a glimpse of the ocean beyond. The pool forms the hub of the villa and becomes the central focus of villa activity. The pool is a perfect temperature - cool enough to refresh, but warm enough to wallow in and have a sundownder. The villa owner Clare is very hospitable and does everything to help make your stay enjoyable. It is an ideal venue for golfers: the course is accessed from a gate in the back garden and the clubhouse is about 5 minutes walk away (there is a facility to leave clubs at the clubhouse), and when you are at the villa you can while away time watching other golfers tee off from the vantage point over the 8th tee.” Rosey - London
