The position and location of the property was excellent, and easy to find
The apartment was very secure and also nice and quiet . The views were stunning and it was great to sleep with the windows wide open .
The property was slightly grubby" (floors were dirty)and the furniture a bit worn, could do with a bit of an updat e, but we guessed this reflected the price.
The couple that manage the property were excellent and always at the end of the phone for us and so helpful.
The restaurant under the apartment served great food!
Some things on line were no longer available, airport pick up &under ground car park, but we got all the information we needed to have a fantastic holiday. We will hopefully book again .

This was a well equipped and good sized apartment in a clean and well looked after building. Not central to the village but still within relatively easy walking distance to all parts. Great views and outlook. We have no problem with recommending it to others.

The apartment was much bigger, brighter and better than it seemed on photos, so we were very happy! We could see mountains and sea from the balcony and the town was just great with all the white houses and narrow streets and littel shops and restaurants. We loved it!

Imagine waking up in a beautiful villege full of picturesque whitewashed houses - and lying in bed with a morning cuppa - the balcony doors are open and you can look out over the mountains and sea. Amazing! Youve just imagined Balcon Frigiliana which provided us with the best holiday weve had in a few years.
I must confess that Im not a lover of Spain - relatives go there regularly to the concrete jungles of places like Salou, Fuengirola and Benalmadena. This is NOTHING like that !!
Frigiliana has been voted the prettiest village in Andalucia and we were lucky enough to be there during their annual festival.
Our days included - a drive through the Sierra Nevada mountains to Granada to see the 8th wonder of the world - the Alhambra and Granada city (took us 90 mins each way), a trip to the amazing mountain town of Ronda and a day out visiting the huge market in Fuengirola, sampling the beach at Benalmedena and staying for the opening of Tivoli theme park (open from 6pm -2am when we were there - plus of course the lazy days on the beach in the nearby coastal resort town, Nerja, shopping in Nerja and having fun at the Frigiliana festival - stalls, music and entertainment. (You can drive to Nerja in 5-10 mins and we had a hire car but the bus stops just over the road, its air conditioned and costs under a Euro each way. You get to enjoy the scenery and dont need to worrry about parking.
The apartment was brilliant!! The price was so good that I thought there had to be some major drawbacks and was a little worried until we arrived - but it was marvellous. I honestly cant fault it - and if you knew me, youd realise that is very unusual - Im a definite glass half-empty type of person :)
The pictures on villarenters dont really do it justice. It is spacious, extremely well-equipped and well located. You can walk to restaurants, bars and a cyber cafe which was very friendly. We have 3 daughters aged 24, 21 and 8 and they all loved the holiday. We were just sad that we didnt get to go to all the places wed planned - but we needed some downtime and the girls loved the pool :) It isnt huge but its very clean and well cared for. Theres room to lie on sun loungers (provided in apartment). We needed to use the put-me-up bed for our youngest but it was extremely comfortable. Master bedroom was good size and bed was comfortable. Terrace from living room is wonderful and we ate most meals there. Underground parking is wonderful - the car is lovely and cool when you go out Small shop just across the road is great - very friendly family and although you might want to do a main shop in Nerja, the nearby shop has essentials like fresh bread, fruit, wine, eggs etc.
Steve and Sarah who manage the apartment left a welcome pack - bread, butter, juice, cheese etc which was wonderful because we arrived at hottest part of the day. They can give great info and advice - but we didnt have any problems during our entire stay.
Amazing village, amazing apartment - wed certainly recommend it to anyone and would love to go back there.
I have tried hard to think of suggestions for improvement but the only tiny one I can come up with is plastic beakers for childrens drinks. Our daughter broke a couple of glasses (sorry!)
Only other thing that maybe I should mention is that this IS a mountain village so be prepared for walks uphill if you want to go to the village centre. Its beautiful and tons of places to eat, gift and craft shops, splash pizza -swimming pool bar etc.
Thanks for a really memorable holiday - Susan, Alan and family.

We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for arranging Steve to pick us up at the airport. The restaurant less than 400 metrs towards the village was very homely and great value. Would recomment it, Las Chinos, to all guests. The welcome pack was perfect, especially ad we arrived with a hungry 1 1/2 year old. Thanks for laying on the cot and high chair, which was a nice touch, some places charge for these around £30 per item, representing an additional expense.

We loved the apartment, especially the sun coming through the bedroom in the morning, the underground 'cool' parking and the pool was excellent and well maintained. We had a great stay, all that we expected and so was the weather. I would recommend the apartment to others.
Just to let you knpow that we had the most fanastic time in your apartment and in Frigiliana. The village was lovely and the sea super. Sarah and Steve were very helpful and everything went very smoothly. I am sure we will want to rent again in the future
Thank you for your communiciations. We had a great toime in Frigiliana, it was nice to see the village before the high season crowds arrive there and in Nerja. We had a very comfortable stay in the apartment which we found very well equipped ( you rven had egg cups)
