The property can accommodate 24 people and it is divided in three houses that communicate internally with each other, totalizing 350 square meters.
There are 8 bedrooms in total: 6 bedrooms with double beds, 1 bedrooms with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds and 6 single beds and 5 bathrooms, one of which is outside serving the pool area.
The kitchen is very modern and fully equipped. There are 3 living areas with a spacious dining room, games room and living room with fireplace, TV, Internet Wi-Fi, DVD/ CD player, Home Cinema and Playstation.
There is a terrace with a large dining table overlooking the swimming pool. The swimming pool is 6m x 12m.
The garden incorporates a play area with several sports facilities (Basketball field 3x3, volleyball, table tennis, darts and a foosball table).
We provide the possibility of arranging the delivery of typical meals to the house (not included in the price) and organizing some activities in the estate and in the surrounding region, like archery, canoeing, a sailboat trip, karting and surf, ranging from adventure sports to simple country walks or bike rides.
The mild weather, the typical architecture, together with famous gastronomy and some leisure activities offered by the region are the features that easily justify staying at Monte da Matinha.
The villa is 3 km from Melides, the closer village with some shops, restaurants and a supermarket. Grândola, the closest city, is 15 Km away.
The area around Melides is well worth visiting, for the great beauty of the many peaceful and desert sandy beaches that can be found along the coastline. The well preserved landscape that can still be found here with the colorful village houses clustered over cobblestone streets are pretty as postcard pictures.

For groups larger than 12 and smaller than 24 persons, please calculate the price for 12 people and add an extra of 25€/day/person.

Description of Grandola / Melides and Local Activities
Melides is a typical small village in Alentejos seashore. A quiet place to enjoy some days or relaxation, anytime of the year. The ideal place to go to the beach if youre one of those people who prefer almost desert beaches, having nevertheless all the the small joys of life like having a cold beer at the bars while watching sunset
The area around Melides is well worth visiting if only for the great beauty of the many peaceful beaches that can still be found along this coastline. The village and lagoon of Melides and the nearby Lagoa de Santo André provide visitors with the necessary infrastructures. The area is very popular amongst Portuguese holidaymakers, who come here every year and help to create an atmosphere of youthful gaiety that lasts all summer long.
Pottery has been produced in Melides at least since the fifteenth century and there is currently a project in progress for the revitalisation of this craft, which has already made such a valuable contribution to the local economy.
The well preserved landscape that can still be found here has made it possible to develop various open-air activities, ranging from adventure sports to simple, pleasant country walks or bike rides.
