The casa was wonderful we had a fabulous 7 days and wished we had booked for longer. Having been to Iznate before we were worried about the access but there was no problem. Just a few little hills. We left by the river bed to Benamacorra and it was brilliant. So quick and not a hill in sight. Stuart was very helpful with this suggestion. The casa was so private. We slept like logs and only heard the odd barking dog.the photos do not do the casa justice. The views from every part of the casa are amazing and the facilities second to none. The pool was just great and the outside kitchen was a brilliant asset. We did a good big shop in the Carrefour and only ventured out for one night. We had everything we needed and the cooking facilities were just great. We long to return and will do. A little slice of Heaven in the hills!

WOW! We had lokked at the photos time and time again before setting off hoping it could be that lovely, well it was and more! The photos cant do justice to the property at all. It was like a home from home every time we thought oh we could just do with there it was!
Kids (8 and 12) had a ball in the pool it was the perfect size for them and kept them and us very happy for our 10 day stay.
The owners couldnt do enough for us before we arrived great directions and advice on where to eat, what is there already etc meaning we travelled light. We arrived to chilled beers in the fridge as well as basics like bread, eggs milk felt so welcomed. Will recommended it to all our friends who want to go to Spain for a pool type holiday. Thank you.

We had the most amazing, two weeks, of pure restful bliss at this wonderful villa. It is true that the photos do not do it justice. The weather was fantastic - 40+ deg and we spent two weeks lounging by the pool, reading books (there is some great books at the villa), swimming in the lovely pool, playing games (would recommend Articulate and Cluedo!). We had cinema evening in the pink bedroom and watched some DVDs in the evenings. We laughed lots and just felt totally home from home. It is a pure spanish haven. The views are outstanding. We cooked lots and found everything we would need at the villa - it was more than home from home! We didnt want to leave. I have to say that the drive from the top, down to the village and to the villa a little scary but so very well worth it. Couldnt recommend this highly enough. It is a must for a perfect holiday. Thank you.

What can I/We say???!!! What a fabulous place! We were awe struck by the beauty of its surroundings and delighted with the facilities, the accommodation, the pool, the hammockry, the gorgeous little breakfasting patio and the dragon flies became increasingly confident and were welcome company!
The journey into the finca just added to the adventure. We have had the most fantastic time and were amazed by how remote and peaceful your wonderful little finca is, yet so close to the beaches. We tried the local sardines and preferred the uncommercialised beaches nearby.
Our only comment, (which has been made before) is that the photos on the website simply do not do it justice, it is far more stunning than can be captured by a lens.
Many thanks

A big thank you from both of us, for finding and then letting other people share in your heavenly hide away.
We really had a most wonderful week of total tranquility and comfort.
The house left us wanting for nothing and the surroundings left us craving for more.
In reading the house diary it was clear that you both had to work very hard to achieve your goal ! water supply , pool leaks , Pepes promises of manana, but you got there in the end and the whole experience that we enjoyed is a credit to you both.
We will certainly be looking to return to Casa de cuesta roman in the future for more total chill-out !
Once again Many Thanks

"In truth we could write a sizeable tome about your house, but, I will spare you the effort of wading through such an indulgence. As one does ,Annie read you visitor books and we were touched by all your efforts and energy that you both gave in such abundance to your casa project. Your manager, Stuart, is a star and I think with his dry humour, he would agree. We needed to stop, without having to be polite to any one or, to discuss the weather with other holiday makers and we achieved our aim. We are both so thankful to you and indeed feel privileged to have had the opportunity to stay in your stunning house. We loved every chair, every view, every and different part of your extended sitting-room outside. Thank you. Regards, Michael & Annie Cumbria"

The most relaxing & enjoyable holiday we have ever had. No photograph can do Case de Questa justice and the whole place is unbelievable. The journey to the Finca is exciting and help is on hand to find it! The views by day or night, the pool, hammock area, outdoor living & kitchen were excellent experiences. Inside has been refurbished to a lovely standard and both upstairs and downstairs are very comfortable indeed. The kids loved every minute & never got bored. Would recommend to anyone and would definately return again. Thank you for letting us use your wonderful property.

We spent the Whitsun holiday here and had the most fantastic time. The drive to the finca through the "campo" is an adventure! Kids loved it. The weather was glorious, about 30C every day. We sat by the pool til 9pm most evenings, cooking on the chiminea and drinking sangria with the stereo on. The kids enjoyed the pool and hamockry, and the outside kitchen made life easy. The location is just amazing, the finca has been sympathetically renovated, and has such lovely ambience.

An amazing place, location and house itself are absolutely superb. Only 20 mins drive from airport but it feels like another world. There were only two of us and we enjoyed the most relaxing week away we have ever had - perfect for couples. Would also be ideal for families and larger groups given the nature of the property, both inside and outside.
Wholeheartedly recommended

Casa de Questa Roman is Exellent place for relaxing and privacy. Not so far from beaches and all services. House was very good equipped and this patios "summer kitchen" was extremely handy. We will recommend this place warmly.

This is a really lovely villa, exceptionally well equipped and finished with great vision and imagination. The setting is perfect if you want to relax in beautiful, quiet unspoilt Spanish countryside. Our children (aged 6 and 3) especially loved the pool, the hammocks and the outside shower! Its much better even than the photos.

We found this the ideal place if you want to know how it feels to be Spanish in Spain. Situated 2 or 3 miles from the excellent regional roads and coastal motorways, a dry river-bed and a little-used dust-track lead to Casa Roman. We are both sea lovers but we did not leave the house other than to buy provisions for the next few days happy in our solitude shared only by the whistles of a very high flying circling condor. The views across the valleys and foothills of the mountains are hugely satisfying with the litlle white village of Iznate perched a couple of kilometres away on the opposite hillside. Both inside and outside toilets and showers (and fridges!), plus a fully kitted outside kitchen/BBQ area with washing basins and preparation areas meant that we lived outside all day next to the swimming pool. There are lovely shady areas for eating, reading or playing scrabble which are either raffia-roofed or covered by a massive sun-sail, plus a DOUBLE hammockry on the third level of the garden for dozing and stargazing. Genuinely the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday we have had in twenty years of villa rental.
