  • Kenmare lies approximately 30 minutes drive from a host of sandy beaches and it has a very pretty harbour from where you can swim, fish or take a trip on the "Seafari Cruise" to view the wildlife in the area. Star Sailing & Adventure Centre New to Kenmare is the wonderful Star Sailing & Adventure Centre situated on the shores of Kenmare Bay and surrounded by the Caha Mountains just a five minute drive from Kenmare Town Centre. Golf Kenmare boasts two super golf courses. The Ring of Kerry Golf Course is located two miles outside of the town Kenmare Golf Club is located in Kenmare Hill Walking The Kerry Way and Beara Way walking routes are ideal for those with an interest in trekking or you could even join the annual summer hike to Irelands highest mountain, Carrauntouhil. Pony Trekking Pony Trekking is the ideal way to explore the hidden treasures of Kenmare and its hinterland. Professional lessons are also available for beginners. .

A beeautiful property. Our only problems were with the showers and the laundry equipment. The shower "doors" leaked water onto the floor, and there were no directions for operating the laundry equipment. The washer was a mystery and the drier took 2 hours to dry a load.

Terrific house. Furnished to the last detail. Only 8 minutes walk to town. Jer Foley was very helpful. Would recommend it to anyone. Great area, great food, great pubs.

My wife and I stayed in this property together with our daughter, son in law and two small grandchildren. We found the house spacious, beautifully finished and well equipped for our needs. Kenmare town is a leisurely 10 minute walk and the location was perfect with beaches and two outstanding golf courses within easy reach. The owner was very friendly and could not have been more helpful. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and recommend the property as an excellent base to enjoy a holiday in Kerry.

This property was beautiful and was located just ten minutes from kenmare town centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house. The owner of the property was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it a friend.

The house was exceptionally clean and as advertised. Cant fault the price for out of year and right next to the ring of Kerry country club (out the drive, left and 5 mins down the same road!) Couple of things - we felt there should be some basics left for people just turning up i.e. washing up liquid / dishwasher tablets, salt & pepper, sugar and perhaps a welcome basket of tea, coffee, milk, bread and butter - if you arrive late lie we did it was too late to get anything. Luckily the chap at the bar gave us some milk and tea bags. The showers need looking at - the pump isnt working properly and because of this the showers water comes out in drips and drabs which is a little annoying. Tap head in the kitchen needs re-fitting. Otherwise, grand.
