Best temple - Kek Lok Si - worth the taxi fare. Least value- Khoo Kong Si - not worth the entrance fee. Spice Garden cooking school - excellent. 101 bus service brilliant. Dear Susie We loved Penang and will definitely be back - Very laid back lifestyle and friendly people. Penang is a great destination for a relaxing family holiday. Night markets and cheap food "courts" made it extremely affordable and we felt extremely safe to let our teenagers wander through the night markets by them selves. The beach relaxation treatments were great and somewhat entertaining! ........ Whilst our stay there was only 6 nights it was definately relaxing and we were sorry that we were not staying longer! During my holidays in Malaysia I was staying at three different hotels and have found this apartment as the best one. It is recently renovated, very clean, spacious, tastefully furnished and fully equiped - really making a person feel like at home. Prices are more affordable compared with a typical 4-5 stars hotel, where you should overpay for seaview, laundry, breakfast and other kinds of service you may even never need, while here you can have everything just at one place. Theres a wonderful Kampung restaurant downstairs where they serve Chinese, Malay and Western food for any taste with lovely and friendly atmosphere, pleasant music and good prices. Im really touched by the hospitality, attention and kindness of the owner - Susie - who is doing her best for the guests during whole their stay. It is very suitable both for short and long stay and I would definitely recommend this apartment as a place for accomodation for everybody who want to find cleanness, comfort modernity and reasonable price being combined together. My next time in Penang I will certainly stay with Susie again and very glad that my expectations were completely satisfied. Victoria, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.

Really enjoyed our stay at Sri Sayang. Excellent apartment and Susie is really helpful Restaurant on site very good quality, value for money is good at RM 19.90 all you can eat, of course you can eat less expensively from Hawker stalls. Rasa Sayang Hotel across the road makes a mean Mai Tai at the beach bar and jets skis etc are also available and not over the top price wise, about RM 150 for half hour and no boat licence required (Australians will love that) Highly recommend this place for a relaxing week. Others have stayed for up to 6 weeks so that also provides a good endorsement.

We absolutely loved the apartment - it was beautifully appointed and the view was spectacular! It was lovely relaxing on the balcony each evening. And I have to say having a washing machine available really beats washing clothes out in an hotel bathroom :o) Lise Perth Australia

Had our week at a private rental at Sri Sayang and can highly recommend it.

Pictures are very faithful to what we actually got, the booking process was easy and the owner while not able to meet us had her son arrive and look after us for the check in process with fruit and a few other niceties left for our enjoyment.

Midway through our stay the owners sister came and did a clean up for us.

We had a fantastic stay, no problems with security, would thoroughly recommend THIS unit and we will be more than happy to stay again.
