Quiberon. 18 km. Stylish seaside resort with attractive beaches on the rocky peninsula of the same name. The windswept eastern side of the peninsula is popular with watersports enthusiasts whilst the sheltered main beach is lined with a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants. Isle of Groix. 65 km. Beautiful 8 km-long steep-sided island with gorgeous beaches. Ideal for a day trip and best visited by bike. Boat crossings from Lorient.
