This was my third visit to the Villa it is very well proportioned, well fitted and in a very good position no need to hire a car as its very near to shops and eating venues and close to the marina. The only downside is the bank to climb when coming and going , not a problem for younge but for older a bit of a chew. Caroline is very friendly and most obliging and helpful if anything goes wrong she attends to it immediately.
The price is very good if a lot of people go but for less visitors it runs expensive when air fare and food is added. Myself and five friends went and a great and very relaxing time was had by all.
Looking forward to the fourth visit.

Villa del Rey was perfect for us.We were a family party of 9, 5 adults and 4 children. The villa was spacious and three bathrooms was a godsend!
The villas situation was good also - a walk to the port and nearby shops.
We used a restaurant nearby, La Sala a few times and both the food and service were excellent.
We had a lovely week with very warm, sunny weather, so made the most of the pool and the outdoor eating area. The barbeque was perfect for us.
A very enjoyable week for all our family!

Beautiful villa in a fantastic location. So convenient for restaurants, beach, coffee shops and supermarkets. The villa exceeded our expectations with lots of little added extras - good hairdryers, plenty of swimming towels, choice of toasters and even some board games!
Caroline met us as we arrived and was so lovely, friendly and helpful - we instantly felt at ease! Thank you Villa del Rey - we hope to see you again :)

We went to villa del rey as a group of 10 girls on a hen do and were all really impressed with everything about it including how well equipped it was, clean and conveniently located. All the marina, bars and nearby attractions are all closeby - youll love it here. A special mention to caroline who looks after the property and is really helpful - wed recommend it to anybody - have a great time there!
ps - we cant wait to come back and the pool is great!

Stayed here for a week with 8 girlfriends. We had an awesome time! Very nice villa which exceeded our expectations, pool not heated was perfect in those hot days in July (around 35°C everyday)! Everything was clean and nice. Enough space for 9 people around the table on the terrace which was very important to us. Just very little bits and bobs like damaged sunbeds, but was no big deal.
Perfect location for going out. Shopping facilities are close. Puerto Banus is quite nice though more expensive than other places in Spain.Visiting Malaga was worth it! The only negative thing was that we couldnt find that many trips to do near PB. Most of the things take place in Marbella.
But still would recommend this villa to everybody who likes a recreative holiday in (very!) sunny spain!

The villa was perfect for our needs and definitely exceeded our expectations. The villa is also perfectly located, just a short walk down to the marina and to other amenities.
The villa was clean, all bedrooms and bathrooms were furnished to a high standard.
The building manager met us on the day of our arrival and was very helpful.

The property was ideal for a quick week away from 6 of us, one spare room still available. Caroline who met us was great and the pool was nice and warm, as agreed for 120 Euros, but well worth it. We all enjoyed the pool and it makes April visits to Spain acceptable. I would not visit without a hated pool so given how rare they are this could be a rare gem and save a long haul flight...
Location Ideal, within walking distance of the centre of Porto Banus but quietly tucked away as to be private.

One slight negative was at night in the main living room it was a little cold but this in part may have been due to not remembering a to manually put the heating on and two it switches of after two hours. Given the heating type I was concious of his electricity bill, Im half Scottish... So all in all given that Im used to going to places like Dubai, Florida, the Far East and Antigua, amongst others for Easter I feel that for the money this has held up quite well. Its not those places and Ive tried hard to keep it in the bracket it should be in price-wise...

A group of 8 of us plus 1 infant stayed at the Villa for my 30th birthday.
Location was excellent - 5 minutes walk into Puerto Banus but located in a quiet residential area which was great to return to after the hustle and bustle.
Lovely pool and terrace with huge BBQ made our stay.
Excellent bar at the end of the road called La Sala which serves good food.
Caroline who looks after the property is very attentive and provided us with the contact details of an airport transfer. If booking this Villa ask her for Chris’s number. Excellent service and better value than booking via Easy Jet!
Take a walk up the coast in the opposite direction of Marbella to a place called San Pedro – fantastic traditional Spanish town with excellent Tapas!
We will definitely return to this Villa.

What I liked most was that it was what it said on the tin, It was 5 minutes walk from the port. It was just perfect, I would recommend it to anyone. It is nice and quiet, You dont hear any noise whilst in the villa has it is off the street. My friends and I are talking about returning next year as were all around 35 years old, We have to find baby sitters but it was fantastic for all age groups :) loved it!

Everything about this vills is great - location, layout, cleanliness, and value for money. We had a fantastic holiday and would definetly return and recommend to friends.

We rented this villa in August as two families. The villa is very well presented, spacious and secure.
The villa is close to the beach (although not a great beach) but not as close as advertised, I would say a 7-10 min walk and a short walk from the supermarket.
The pictures of the villa dont do it justice, especially the gorgeous bathroom!!!
We did experience problems with the fridge/freezer (it wasnt cold enough to freeze anything) We were assured that this was to be replaced but maybe check before booking.
There was also a problem with the electrics tripping in the kitchen.
We had 5 young children in our party and it really is a very safe villa for anyone looking totake young children.
Overall we were very impressed!

We had a week at the property and found it very nice, clean and easy to live in. It is in a very quiet residential area, however it is close enough to shops and restaurants and marina. I would certainly recommend it and hope to book again for a girly (if you could call us girls) week. We have not stayed in a villa before we usually go 4/5* hotel however we found it more relaxing in this villa.
The only down side we found was only one set of keys between 7 of us, as there were young and older people in our group and we didnt always go out together at night - problems at bedtime.
Review submitted by Philip from Middlesbrough (Submitted: 9 Aug 2010)
The property was ideally located. The rooms were spacious clean and tidy. Pool and sunbathing areas were excellent and made the holiday for the adults and children in the party.
The negatives, master bedroom, air conditioning was not functioning correctly and it was too hot on an evening. Everywhere else the air con was superb.
The kitchen appliances were inadequate, micro wave was poor and hardly warmed things up, cooker could have benefitted from instructions been on hand, it was okay once you got the hang of it.
Fridge and freezer were poor, we struggled with keeping food frozen, ice cream and lollies melted. Food and drink in the fridge did not chill sufficiently, we kept buying day by day after the first big shop due to things turning.
Let me say overall, honestly good location, nice villa, good pool, the lady, Caroline who looks after the villa is friendly and makes you feel at home.
Sort the kitchen appliances and everything would be excellent, superb. We would and probably will book and return for another holiday.

property in excellent location - could not have been better for walking to the harbour and town of puerto banus. We enjoyed Gios restaurant just up the road and the market on the saturday was unbelievable - neverending stalls full of bargains. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the outside dining area was excellent. The weather was excellent too not a cloud in the sky all week. The layout of the villa was perfect as we were a party of 3 families.

Seven of us have just returned from a 40th Birthday Celebration in Villa Del Rey. It was fantastic! The villa is very spacious with every amenty you could ask for. We had outdoor bbqs, made use of the ample sized pool, all had plenty of space for hanging clothes and 3 bathrooms. The villa was extremely clean and tidy. It was only a 5-10 minute walk to the harbour, bars and restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the supermarket! We had the best weekend ever! We are definitely going back!

Book for 10 girls for a hen Weekend and had a ball!!!!! Beautifully kept villa in lovely surroundings just minutes walk to the port. Caroline who met us on arrival was extemely helpful with information on villa and even gave us a lift to the local supermarket. Fresh flowers and everthing immaculate on arrival. Great 10 seat outside dining area that was used every night for dinner. Every room was airy, spacious, lovely decor and all very clean. Very well equipped kitchen. Master suite and bathroom massive and just amazing. Fantastic pool area with 10 sunbeds and towels provided and in the sun all day. Could not fault the place and cant wait to go back next year :-)

1. Very well located and just a short walk away from marina, beaches and shops.
2. Very quiet and private
3. Paying for the heated pool very worth while but it takes a bit more than 24 hours to warm up.
4. Excellent pool with lots of loungers.
5. Good kitchen with all amenities
6. Quiet air conditioning/fans available as required.
7. Communications with Villa rentals very good, friendly and thoughtful.
8. We used B-MET for transport to/from malaga - an English team - excellent
9. We were a family of 7 but essentially 3 separate families - the layout of the bedrooms and ensuites and facilities suited us perfectly.
10. A few thoughts\
a. The barbecue is slightly strange as it lacks any height adjustment and therefore difficult to get the coals close to the food.
b. The key entry system in general worked well but a second set of keys would have been useful.
c. The property was well prepared for our arrival but the cleaners should throwout any food, cosmetics etc left by earlier visitors.

The villa is in a fantastic location. Shops and bars are a stones throw away. The Harbour is a 5-10 minute walk.
There is two spaces for cars directly outside the property, although I have to say its a tight fit and no room to turn around so heads up to anyone uncomfortable with reversing. However there is plenty of parking on the road prior to the turning.
The agents are very helpfull. English speaking who greeted us on arrival. I found them very professional and were at the end of a phone call away at all times. There is recent magazines and restaurant books with whats going on in Puerto-Banus and great places to visit left out for you....I was a golfer and there were many courses listed in these so I found this very usefull.
The pool was excellent, and was set up to catch the full days sunlight. If it got to hot then back into the villa with each room containing easy to use air conditioning.
I would recommend this villa for anyone, familys to friends. Its big enough that you can have your own space and not feel on top of one another. I celebrated my 30th out there with 7 others and we all said how the villa made that holiday special. 10/10 from me.

The villa was excellent and was as good as it looked in the photos. It is situated in a quiet area but still only 10mins walk from the beach, marina, shops and restaurants. We had a fabulous relaxing holiday and would definitely like to return to Villa Del Rey in the future.

We had an super time at Villa Del Rey in Puerto Banus, the Villa is lovely, very clean and tidy, every room is exceptional, especially the Master Suite. The pool was great too. It is in a perfect location, it only took us 5 mins to walk to the Port. We will definately return to Villa Del Rey, we throughly enjoyed our stay, and I would be happy to recommend the Villa to anyone. Thank you to Caroline too, who was a star.
