We had a fabulous holiday and the property was just what we wanted, there were only five of us staying, I would say 7 would have been the maximum.
The house is out of the hustle and bustle of La Palmyre but near enough to go into the centre or beach if you wished.
There were only 2 things that I would say let it down for us, whilst I liked the idea of a separate tv room there wasnt adequate room for us all to watch a tv/dvd together without sitting on the floor.
The only other thing I felt let it down was that for the price you have paid for renting the villa its a bit much to ask you pay 7euros to the cleaner.
On balance though we would book again as we had such a fabulous holiday.

Lovely modern house in a quiet neighbourhood. House is very well appointed with the kitchen particularly well equipped. We were two families, one of 4 and one of 5, with children ranging from ages of 5 to 10 and the house worked very well for us.
Plus points: all mod cons, well equipped kitchen, 2 barbecues, good TV room, well designed and well furnished house.
Minor grumbles: satellite TV was not working, pool cover had seen better days, duvets were all singles (even for double beds) and were high tog value so rather warm for summer holiday let!
All in all, a very nice house in a peaceful, quiet location. The minor grumbles make it a good rather than excellent rating...

Property is very new and is as described by the owner, the photographs give an accurate view of the house. Downstairs living area is excellent with good kitchen with all appliances, 10 seater dining table and sitting area with sofas etc. Separate TV room is small but nice to be able to close the door to separate it from the living area.
Upstairs not so good, bedrooms are basic but fine, but bathroom layout is one family and one ensuite bathroom. This means either having to go through someone elses bedroom to use the ensuite or loads of people sharing the family bathroom. OK for us with small kids but not great for other adults.
We were disappointed to have to take bath towels all the way from England, I think they should be included for the low cost this would be for the owner versus the hassle of taking them for us.
Outside is good, pool is fine, other reviews have said it is a bit small which is true but in fairness it is just a fun pool where we played volleyball etc with no probs, you wouldnt expect much more in a house I dont think. Patio furniture, barbeque and another 10 seater dining table all good.
Some things could be easier for English visitors, the cleaning lady spoke very little English which is a bit tricky on the phone although she was very helpful, also we had no idea about the bins! Sounds minor but 9 people sharing the house fill up bins very quickly, and they were already full from the previous week. Binmen came at various times but no idea what bins to put where in order to get them emptied, so we had bags of rubbish sitting round for the whole holiday.
Area is very nice, two supermarkets in walking distance in Les Mathes, but you have to go further to find restaurants and bars (realistically too far to walk).
Overall we had a good holiday and I think the house is reasonably priced. Not quite a ‘Luxury Holiday Villa’ I don’t think (!) but it certainly is a very nice house.

A lovely Villa in a very quiet area. The bathrooms are amazing. The swimming pool was small but adequate for the kids. The kitchen was well equiped with everything you would have at home.
The beds were comfortable and the underfloor heating was lovely. There is also a wood burner and logs.
There were lots of lovely little touches like washing powder and washing up liquid and hand soap. I think this is worth mentioning as it saves you taking any or having to buy it when you get there.
The area is very quiet with amazing beaches and the house is in a little village with a few basic shops.
Note there is no spare bed linen and only enough provided for the beds you intend to ocupy, so tricky if you want to put two kids in a double bed when there isnt enough double bed linen.
We found both the owners and the agent very helpful and informative, so if you asked for extra bed linen, this might be doable.
We were very happy for our week away.

Nice house, well equipt. The pool is not big, but verry clean and is verry inviting.
Calm area, but ideal for trips in a verry nice region.
