The villa was better than expected, Mike was extremely helpful, and was at hand if & when we needed him, the area was lovely and quiet, only down side were the flies!, which couldnt be helped, would definitely go there again, couldnt find a fault, well worth it and was probably our best holiday x

The villa was as discribed, very well equipped and nice location. The only problem we had was with the electrics when we first arrived but the owner and cleaner sorted everything out as fast as possible, even offered to put us up in a B&B overnight until it was put right.

We went to the villa for our honeymoon and it was great, very comfortable villa with all the things you would expect. dawn and mike the keyholders were very nice and very helpful but at the same time not intrusive, we just text them if we had any questions and they quickly replied! Quiet location with lovely veiws, i would definately go again.

Lovely villa and a great peaceful location. The pool was fantastic and our two children never came out of it! We had great days out to the Water Park in Vera, Garrucha, Cela and Mogacar which could all be reached in about 40 minutes. The Tapas Bar Paladares near the community swimming pool in Arboleas was great and we would definitely recommend. One of the best holidays we have had!

This is the second time we have booked the villa and where so glad that we did . We wanted a peacefull week in the sunshine, and had taken family member who is quite poorly to relax and recharge. They where not dissapointed.

Fantastic villa with high standard of furniture and fittings. Secure patio/garden appreciated. Pool freezing but once weather warmed up to above 25 degrees we were hot enough to use it comfortably. Too cold for youngest son (17months) to use but to be expected in May. Nice drive up into the moutains to get to villa and whilst the villa is surrounded by lots of other villas, this does not compromise the privacy. Arboleas provides all the essentials and we loved Bar Campillo for tapas at the bottom of the hill. Wonderful holiday.

We had only stayed in Almeria once before and then on the coast. This villa is situated some 30 minutes from the coast in a small village. It enjoys an incredible view of sloping hills where the only disturbance is the occasional tinkle of goat bells as the herder moves them off the hills.
The villa is nicely appointed and we had absolutely no problems and enjoyed a relaxing 8 days there.

Excellent well appointed property with fantastic views over the mountains. The property is well equipped with everything you could need. The open plan living space is fantastic reating a real family atmosphere in the house.
My 3 year old daughted loved splashing about in the pool, and the english sky TV came in very handy!

A beautiful, quiet location far enough from the main tourist areas without being too far away from beaches, restaurants and interesting days out. Chris dealt with any issues promptly and was available for general advice and recommendations. The villa itself is nicely decorated and filled with high quality furniture and fittings with everything you could need. I would definitely go again and recommend to a friend.

We have had the most wonderful holiday at this spectacular villa. The location is so private and you quickly surrender to the peace and beauty of your surroundings. The property is immaculate and has a fabulous large, clean pool which we enjoyed every blissful day. Unfortunately our teenage son was taken ill whilst we were on our holiday ...fortunately Chris was there he became a very supportive friend to the whole family and we would have been lost without him. We have all come home feeling re-charged and envious of the next family who take temporary residence at Rambleside....you lucky people!

We had high expectations of this property from the photos we saw - its far exceeded them. We just wanted a chill out holiday for 2 weeks and we got it. Boys loved the pool and all the grounds and we loved the fact that they were safe - pool is gated and not too deep.
Chris and Gail were stars - willing to pass on all their wisdom - Chris actually met us at the local supermarket on the first day and escorted us to the villa. David was great with help before we flew. I really cannot recommend this villa high enough.

We totally loved this villa, the location was exceptional....I found myself just staring at the views from the patio.
Very high quality fixtures and fittings, tastefully decorated. The pool was incredible.....it was absolute heaven....
I would also highly recommend moveable feasts - Chris can cook one wicked paella, and its all done in the comfort of the villa. There is also an excellent indian restaurant nearby which is well worth a few visits.
For those into bird watching, take your binoculars...(my husband spotted some Bonellis Eagles).
All in all, an unforgettable break !!

This villa was extremely comfortable with quality furnishings and linen. The view from the villa was lovely to wake up to. The surrounding area was very peaceful for a "getaway from it all" holiday.

I was disturbed one day by noise.
An orange fell from one of the trees and landed with a soft thud on the ground. That was the only disturbance all week!
