We had such a fantastic week at this property we were SO well looked after by the owners and never felt intruded on or that anything was too much trouble. They were delightful company and full of good tips and hints.
Also, I did not feel guilty about doing ABSOLUTELY nothing , except read and rest and eat.
The apartment was beautiful and my only complaint was that we didnt book it for longer than a week. We hope to return and feel that we have the beginning of a friendship with the lovely Mark and Andy kindest of men and wonderful hosts! And the two boys absolutely loved it. xxxx

A wonderful place with wonderful owners. Montalto really is the true Italy. Andy and Mark are great guys and very helpful with local places to visit. Welcome meal was superb. Take in brunch at Marias (real Italian home and welcome) just down the road from the apartment. Overall lovely visit. We wish the guys all the best for the future.

We have just returned home from another wonderful relaxing holiday in Montalto. We have been coming here for the past 8 years and we always find new places to explore. Our hosts, as always, were very hospitable and could not do enough to ensure that we had another enjoyable holiday. On arrival the apartment was spotless and fully equiped with everything we needed. After our long journey the welcome bottles of wine were much appreciated. The apartment has a private garden which gets the benefit of the sun all day long and we enjoyed several barbecues during our stay. Our favourite beach is about 30 minutes drive from Montalto and is located in Pedaso we would highly recommend having lunch in the Il Faro restuarant on the beach. We attended a wine tasting, which included a typical italian meal, at the local cantina all arranged by our hosts. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday far from the madding crowd then this is the place for you.

This a a beautiful unspoilt area of Italy. The appartent is set in a very unique building with fantastic views across the countryside. The owners are very hospitable and the welcome meal is to be recommended. The steps downs to the garden are quite steep - expecially if carrying food/drink and perhaps a new BBQ wouldnt go amiss!

From day one we could not have been made more welcome.
Both Andy and Mark totally exceeded our expectations and helped us on numerous occasions with their vast knowledge of the area and with booking trips etc on line. The meal upon arrival was delicious and also the welcome pack we recieved was invaluable.
There were so many things to thank the guys for and not least their wonderful sense of humour. Both rooms in our apartment were comfortable and the views were fantastic we only wish that our stay could have been longer.

I have had many bookings through VillaRenters but this is by far the best place I have stayed at so far and I will definately be returning.
The reasons I say this are as follows:
The area has so much to offer. Near to the sea, near to mountains and a national park and in a lovely rural setting.
The town of Montalto is a hidden gem with quaint old medieval streets and a cathedral that is beyond description. It is stunning.
The people in town are so friendly and welcoming.
The accomodation has all that you need and there is a wonderful view from the window where you can see as far as 100km.
The owners Andy and Mark live on site and are the most friendly and helpful (genuinely) hosts that you could possibly wish for. Nothing is too much trouble and they really make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.
My grateful thanks to both of you. You, quite simply, could not have done more.
I can, without reservation, thoroughly recommend this place. If you book a stay here you will not be disappointed.

What a brilliant place in every way. Stylish, comfortable, bright and airy with everything we needed, including a delicious meal on our first night and a handy wine supply on the landing! There are magnificent views from the windows (its a 700 year old watch tower), and it was lovely to open the shutters in the morning and breath in the atmosphere of this historic town. This really is Real Italy. The wee terrace was a great place to relax, and the pool (small but perfectly formed!) was great for freshening up at the end of a long day on the Sibillinis. Mark and Andy were the perfect hosts, charming, helpful and always cheery. Nothing was too much trouble. Cant recommend this place highly enough. Just book it!

This is a really delightful property in a delightful town and the hosts were delightful too!
Apart from skiing in the Alps/Dolomites, Italy was relatively unknown to us before this holiday and we could not have chosen a better region to savour the beauty of the Italian landscape.
The Adriatic coast is easily accessible in about half an hour and the Sibillini National Park is just superb, but closer to home there are some very picturesque hilltop villages and towns.
Montalto itself is a very pretty, small mediaeval town with a couple of very friendly bars in the main square and good shops for daily requirements.
The appartment is light and airy with all the comforts of home and Andy and Mark are not only fonts of local knowledge, but also extremely helpful and generous.
I would strongly recommend the welcoming meal on the first night - It was delicious!
I have no hestiation at all in recommending this property . I would certainly be happy to go back anytime

We felt very welcomed and we appreciated ours hosts Andrew and Mark very much. They were attentive but not atall intrusive. They are simply the nicest people you could meet.
The accomodation more than met our expectations, being comfortable, tastefully furnished and well equipped (we have stayed at 17 different places in the last year and this one is way at the top of our list of the best).
The private pool and garden are delightful with spectacular views of the rolling landscape. This hilltop medieval town is picture perfect and immaculate. There is a small grocery store within walking distance and safe on street parking can be found also within walking distance. The area is very beautiful, you can visit historic sites nearby, head to the gorgeous ocean for the day or just hang out by the pool with a good book.
Go ahead and book, you wont be disappointed!

Very well presented in a great location. Knowledge and information by owners was super. Lots to see and visit and food in the area was fantastic. We took advantage of the meal provided on the first night which set the high tone for the week. Great place in an old town location

Fantastic apartment in a lovely building situated within a friendly hilltop town in Italy. You could not wish to meet a nicer couple than the guys that own the property who have done wonders in converting this old rustic building into a stunning and comfortable living accommodation, whilst retaining (and highlighting) the buildings own unique historic charm. Well furnished property with everything you could need. Plenty to see and do around the region (although much would require car hire but I think this is well advised by the owners). I think it says it all when the guestbook in the property is full with glowing references one after the other and not one bad word to say about the accommodation, town, and most notably the owners. Highly recommended!

A beautiful apartment, with everything you need provided. stunning views across the mountains. Pretty garden with pool. Montalto Delle Marche is a fantastic place to visit.
The owners of this property, Andy and Mark are the most friendly and hospitable people you could ever want to meet on holiday and nothing is too much trouble for them, they picked us up in the middle of the night, when we was lost, brought us cakes, fresh vegetables and water, they was always ready to help but never intruding.
Thankyou for a fantastic holiday. Perfect..x

The apartment was great, although small it was well equipped and very tastefully furnished with fantastic views from the bedroom. There were useful guides and books on the area and owners Mark and Andy were great hosts, very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. I would certainly recomend either of the two apartments to friends and we will almost certainly be booking again.

We had a wonderful stay in Le Marche - the apartment really lived up to its description on the website. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. It more than lived up to our expectations. We hope to return one day and would thoroughly recommend a stay there.
